Former Suits actress Meghan Markle,who is currently married to Harry (a former Royal in the British family who prefers to be addressed as Harry), in a Teenage Therapy podcast interview disclosed how she handled being the most trolled person on the internet last year.
Meghan Markle said at the interview that she was told that in 2019 she was the most trolled person in the World....
She disclosed that for the eight months she was being trolled, she was not available because she was either on maternity leave or with a baby and that what was manufactured and churned out, was not something one could survive.
She says, trolling damages people mentally and emotionally regardless of their age. “That’s so big you can’t even think about what that feels like because I don’t care if you’re 15 or 25 if people are saying things about you that aren’t true what that does to your mental and emotional health is so damaging.
Meghan also spoke about isolation and online bullying. She said although people’s experiences are unique and different from others, it’s still a human experience and that’s universal.
“We all know what it feels like to have our feelings hurt. We all know what it feels like to be isolated. And I think that’s why the work you guys are doing here is so important … that people know there’s someone to talk to. You’re not alone in any of it. We’re all figuring it out,” she said.

DeleteMay you never be judged based on the actions of family members you have no control over. Harry moved to a different country because of the severe onslaught of hate against his wife and son. How in the world is that abandoning his family? Don't we all have people residing on different continents than us in our families?. Archie will be fine and his parents are wise to take him away from a nation where his existence is despised for no reason at all, since they claim it isn't racism and but keep saying something seems off about his mother.

She cannot say she doesn't know what she opted for right from the start. She is intentional and deliberate about the narratives she puts out and wants to be in the news and life doesn't work that way. She is such a good 'actress' and deserves all the attention. And she does more of the talking that Harry, who should be at the forefront. But it is for a while before everyone sees her for who she is. Even Kate was not spared and she has been managing it gracefully. Hmm, Meghan, I so want to like you but I am afraid, you keep proving that character is like pregnancy. A wise person will go off social media at least for a while and let people miss her. She is not the first or only woman married into royalty, please. All this running all over the place and taking advantage of every opportunity to focus attention on 'me, myself and I is only temporarily. In-laws are not always bad, if her in-laws are terrible, I guess her family and friends are also terrible while she is the saint among humans. Her squad went against Obama and Hilary for praising Prince William's Earth Prize shot, she should talk to them. Her celebrity friends are gradually ditching her. Before you came with a weak defence that we don't know what her in-laws put her through, you don't know what she did to them too. British press is bad but Hollywood press are also roasting her. Most of her supporters are either people that can't keep peace with their in-laws or self absorbed brats. Can she deal with herself in Archie's future wife?

DeleteI still wonder sometimes what exactly she did. They have a very thriving community on Quora dedicated to shredding Meghan to pieces, 60% British and 40% Americans. Worst part is they can't pinpoint any particular character flaw she has. Its always "a palace source said", "see how she is looking at/holding Harry" "see how she is holding her baby bump", "she returned the wedding rings of her ex husband via FEDEX", none of them know her personally yet some are so bitter that they can kill her if given the chance.
ReplyDeleteIts a miracle that Meghan isn't suicidal with all the hate thrown at her and Harry has proven he has backbone by moving her way from the UK before she is turned to another Princess Diana. I watched "Suits" since 2012 and I liked her, was really happy for her union but now I'm just scared and hoping that BRF and British media find another scapegoat soon. Her children will read all this stuff and wonder about her...smh..May we never marry into a family and be transformed into a worldwide enemy.
I think some of the royals treated her some way that made her feel unwanted. I don't think that it was only the press that made her left England. I cannot say if it was the inner circles, but I feel strongly that she was not welcomed by the family like Kate was. If she felt secured in their support she would still be there and faced the criticism of the press just like all the women before her did.
ReplyDeleteMoral of the story: be careful what you wish for, nothing is ever as it seems, heavy is the head that wears the tiara. Nobody has a better life than you, nothing worth envying. Until you are on the inside you never truly know what it is like to live that life. Be grateful for what you have no matter how small it is someone greater and wealthier than you is envying the simplicity of your life right now!
I need to buy you a drink, Anon 17.01, there are many untold stories about her entering the BRF and I know they are against her. If not, a simple press release would have put paid or at least reduced the attacks on her. When it comes to Meghan, everybody is now a psychologist saying something seems off about her. It definitely seems there is a strong and lethal gag order about what you can say or reveal about the BRF or we will all be shocked off our pants to know the real truth of what goes on behind the scenes.
