ReplyDeleteTo think she had this child when she was just 14 years old and was protecting the putative father who was a Naval officer (clearly a case of child abuse in today's world). Then she was sent out of the house at age 15 with a 5 months old baby. Then she became a street worker to take care of her child and now lose that child. I'm disheartened beyond words. This was the first bad news I got yesterday and was pondering over not knowing the government had plans to massacre us. Only God can comfort you Ada.

It is best to speak with those who have gone through the same experience, having a safe space to express your emotions is helpful. Of course, she may not be ready for that right now because the grief has to run its course.

We grew up together in Navy barracks Malu Road, Aunty Ada was never chased out of the house by her parents, they welcomed her and Ladi. Yes She struggled to raise that girl by herself, now death has dealt a fatal blow to her. The Ameh family has lost a lot, first it was Titi, then Ajuma now Ladi. This one hurts sha. May her soul rest in peace. Aunty Ada God knows best!
