JULIANA'S OPINION

It makes me sad when I read comments from people criticizing women for wanting to birth their child or children through the vagina.....

let us be sensitive when discussing some topics especially in regards to child bearing. There are many factors that lead women to try vaginal birthing even when they have been advised otherwise.

The number one factor is money, do you know how much a cesarean birth cost?depending on location it ranges from a hundred thousand naira to three hundred thousand and above. This is just for birthing only, some people find it difficult to pay as low as 15000 some hospital charge for vaginal delivery talk more of a hundred thousand naira.

The one that makes me laugh is when people suggest epidural like which continent are you in? In Nigeria things are hard,if you can afford it good but leave those that can't afford it to do things their way,

Other factors that make some women go against their doctors decision is  the fear of being shamed for undergoing a c-section, fear of dying while being operated on, prophecy from their religious leaders etc.

In Nigeria people want you to birth your baby like the hebrew woman....

CHRONICLES OF MELODY THE RUNS-GEH
THE UNRAVELED MYSTERY

While in the vehicle, I had planned all I would do to Faith, infact I promised myself that nothing will stop me from giving her a mark she will live to remember but I got home to a shocker, in my two weeks of being away, Faith died in the most mysterious way ever, they said some white men took her TDB, she came back the next morning, vomiting uncontrollably and couldn't talk, she vomited till she died, I was broken, I had so many things in mind for her, I had questions, I needed answers, but then life must go on.....

There's this joint where we normally sit around to catch some big boys, I sat down there with some guys and they got talking, they were chatting in my dialect and my kind of job gave me a new name and new tribe, I don't tell people that I am igbo, so while they were talking, the talked about Faith and her acts, the other one said she stole from him and he used it as an advantage to want to deal with her but at getting to where he can use the stuffs he got from her, he was told that he had been used before by someone else and when he wanted to manage her womb.....

he was told that the said person used her womb too, I had goosebumps, I became pressed instantly, I needed a reason to excuse myself, I quickly told them I was having a running stomach and the beer wasn't helping matters, na so I run ooo, I didn't go to my room, I went straight to my madam, told her everything but she wasn't surprised, she said that a lot of them had given up theirs for power and she doesn't regret it.... Right there, Right there, I knew it was time to quit, I can't be walking around wombless and not knowing it, this place is evil and I can't die here.....

Abeg sing me a Melody to the Lord of hosts....

JESUS CHRIST Whaaaaaaaat!!!!!......stop ashawo work abeg you!!!....
.This story messed up my mood the more...

COVID 19 TEST EXPERIENCE

Good DAY Stella, I just read the article on Covid test and the fraud that goes with it. I want to share my own experience.

Some weeks ago I went to Chukwu Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital for my yellow fever vaccine cos I was going to travel. At the cause of my discussion with the one who was attending to me, he got a call from an intending traveler who needs to do the test. He called his colleague that works at the place where the supposed test is to be conducted, the guy said that the truth is that they are not doing the test but he will call someone so that they can get money from people. Stella I got the shock of my life.

People are playing with this, some still say that the virus isn't real.

My experience at EHA clinic is better, we paid #39500 for the test, we got the test result through mail and then went to the clinic to have it stamped. Our result was checked at the airport in Nigeria and then in Ghana as well, but we had to pay $150 to have another test done at the airport in Ghana (we got the result there at the airport). Everybody had a different experience, this is mine. I know some people just want to pay without doing the test, I don't blame them.

God bless Nigeria and her leaders and also the citizens who defraud innocent Nigerians while we blame the politicians. It is the average Nigerian that is destroying the system, the change should and must begin with ordinary Nigerians.

Thank you!

This is getting very worrisome..ah ah!!!

HAPPINESS COLUMN
WHEN TRUST IS BETRAYED

Whenever anyone places their trust in me concerning anything, I try very hard to keep it, even if I have to go extra miles or sacrifice somethings to do so.
Trust is something that I view as a privilege and has to be honored.

Sadly, I can't beat my chest to say that I have completely kept the trust, but I can proudly say that I have never broken any trust deliberately (though not an excuse), the few times it happened.

Unfortunately, a lot of people do not see anything wrong in breaking trust and betraying the honour bestowed on them.

Let me illustrate...

My friend told me a story while we were discussing how difficult it is to trust your children with friends and even family.

Her dad's childhood friend was always picking her to and from school because his own daughter attended the same school and they were neighbors. This continued for years, until when she was in secondary school. So she viewed him as a second daddy and her parents and entire family trusted him.

One of the days, he volunteered to drop her off at an event and also bring her home, since it was still along his way, the unexpected happened when they were coming back ,he diverted to a secluded place and attacked her,
she told me "Happi, immediately I overcame my initial surprise, I fought for survival, with all that I had in me, like a wounded lion, screaming for help, and fortunately, someone heard me"

His excuse... she is a big girl and should understand...

What of the father that called his friend to help him check on his sick 13yr old daughter at home alone, and "uncle" ended up raping the girl he was supposed to protect?

Or it the one that raped his friend's 7yr old deaf and dumb daughter, and when caught, he blamed the devil.

Or is it the "mummy in the Lord" that was entrusted to help watch over a fellow sisters son, and ended up s#xually abusing the poor boy and even gave him STD. And when the devastated mother confronted her and reported to the church, she denied and the church backed her up, calling the victim possessed.

What of someone I know personally that her uncle (mother's brother), that was living with them, kept raping her and her younger sister continuously, even when they got the courage to tell their mother, she didn't believe them. So uncle continued unabated, as if they were his "wives" till they were able to resist him themselves.

Me nko? That if not for God, Uncles would have had their way. One time, it was so close, but for divine intervention..... Not even that my mom was careless oh, she was a hawk, still, these evil people will devise every means to betray trust.

What can I say to them, ehnn? When even fathers go about raping their children.......

Sadly, I cannot rest my case, because things are getting worse each passing day.
These matters can not be rested until parents and communities shine their eyes like eagles....

Topics like this send me into panic...Anywhere i see the girl child i become like a hawk watching to see whos watching her....If i had a daughter i might probably not even let her out of the house at all...

I watch my boys and tell them to resist anyone who tries anything with them.....RESIST!!!

May God guide and protect all of you who have the girl child and give you a 6th intuition to be able to spot those idiots who betray trust and abuse our children.....Hissssss...

I hope no BV reading this is abusing their child or someone's?

  29. Rape stories
    It is everywhere
it doesn't usually start as rape
The seed of sexual immorality is sown
whenever people fold their hands and treat fornication as a norm; people watch all kinds of pornography and deviant sexual behaviors on their phones.
when people interact with devils in any form; like visiting mediums, evil
seeds are planted in their hearts
and they won't even know when it will germinate.
We have a reproach on our hands
because fornication even on live tv is glorified. A lot of people are visiting mediums, praising those living in debauchery.
Rape is an evil seed and it is sown in these instances.
Prov. 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation
but sin is a reproach to any people.
    flee every appearance of evil
