‘I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.’

Jesus said, ‘What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?’ (Mark 8:36 NKJV). And to drive home His point, He told the story of a rich man who died and went to hell, while a poor man on his doorstep went to heaven. Bottom line: nothing is more important than your salvation! But God also has a plan for your life, and He wants you to succeed. John writes, ‘I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.’ Note the phrase ‘in all things’. That includes your health, your mental and emotional well-being, your family and relationships, your career and finances. ‘All things’ means – all things! There’s not an area of your life that God is not interested in or that He won’t get involved in when you seek Him, obey Him, and honour Him. In the Old Testament, He said, ‘Keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all…you do’ (Deuteronomy 29:9 NKJV). And in the New Testament, Jesus said, ‘But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you’ (Matthew 6:33 NKJV). Aren’t you totally invested in the success of your children? When they succeed in life, don’t you celebrate with them? Well, as His redeemed child, your heavenly Father is invested in your success and celebrates it with you. So start praying and believing Him today for success in all your endeavours.

BROTHERHOOD.

After I had cleaned my house and tidied up...

My brother phoned me and said: ‘I am coming to visit, and my wife is coming with me’

I entered my kitchen to prepare for them whatever I could, But I could not find anything available to serve them.
I went looking for something to serve, but I did not find anything except few oranges.
Therefore, I made two cups of cold juice immediately.

When my brother and his wife entered I was shocked to see my brother mother-in-law who came to visit us for the first time.

So I served the two cups of juice to his wife and her mother, and a cup of plain water for my brother, and said to him: I know that you like 7up, he drank a sip and realised that it was water. He pretended as if it is 7up
And suddenly his mother-in-law asked “please can I have some 7up?, please give it to me”
Here I was baffled and caught with embarrassment.
My brother saved me by saying to her: “I will bring you a clean glass from the kitchen”. While in the kitchen and
after a while we heard the sound of a glass breaking, my brother came back and told his mother-in-law. “sorry ma’am, it fell from my hands and the glass broke, ...
but no problem I will go to the shop to get another one.
His mother-in-law said: “there is no need for that,that means it was not meant for me.

On their way out my brother bid me farewell and placed into my hand an amount of money and said “don't forget to clean the kitchen of the 7up, so that ants do not come.
And he bid me farewell with a smile and love.

And in this way my brother concealed my inadequacy and shortcoming.

When you're single, people ask about a boyfriend or girlfriend. When you have a fiancé, they ask about a wedding. When you get married, they ask when will you have children? When you have one, they ask when is the little brother or sister coming? When you have all girls, they tell you to keep trying till you have a boy and when you have all boys , they tell you to keep trying till you have a girl. When you end up having so many children, they ask, why you’re having all these children? If you are slim they will say why are you so thin?, when you start adding weight they will say, you are getting fat ooo and when eventually you become fat they ask you why you allowed yourself to get so fat! If you don't move on, they tell you you should. If you have moved on, they ask why so quickly? Truth is, people will never stop asking, talking and telling you what you should do.

So if you're proud of who you are and you don't care about what people think about you but only what God says about you, because it's your life and you get to decide how to live it. I love my life, I run it at my own pace with God's help, and I tell my story myself....pls dont judge me......run yours, tell your own story and judge yourself!!! . Stay blessed.

Good morning guys. Pls how do I stop a one year old child from sucking his lips. I have rubbed Bitterleaf water, he licked it off and cont'd the sucking. When he's sucking that lips he will lost all his senses. He doesn't look where he's going, falls fromm the bed etc. Pls I need help. Yesterday he hut his head on d wall cos he wasn't looking at where he was going all because the suckin has entered him

U see I'm an orphan,I don't really have a close relationship with my extended familes,I don't even know how to call them and start telling them what I'm going through..they see me as very strong person and survival..but TTC brought out the weakness in me...this blog, Stella,bvns gave me strength,not to give up, brought me closer to God,and prayed for me...
