Emirates Airline Barred From Operating In Nigeria....

Emirates Airlines, a foremost international carrier, has been barred from operating in Nigeria.
The ban was imposed by the Federal Government.

The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika revealed that the ban will take effect from Monday, September 21, 2020. This was disclosed via a tweet posted on his official handle on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Also barred are Cabo Verde and South African airlines which were denied approval for flights into Nigeria; mainly on the grounds that international flights were yet to resume in their countries.

Among the airlines that got the FG’s nod to resume flight operations are...

- Air Cote D’ Ivoire
-Kenya Airways.
-EgyptAir,
-Turkish Airlines,
-Middle East Airline,
-British Airways,
-Delta Air,
-Qatar Airways,
-Ethiopian Airlines
- Air Peace,
-Virgin Atlantic,
-Asky Airlines
-Africa World Airways

  1. I don't believe the Nigerian government flimsy excuses. If they tell you good morning, go to bed and
    retire for the night.
I am waiting for the airlines to start chanting. We will hear the real
    reasons.

  9. I just don’t understand this cat fight.
Shouldn’t we be more concerned with banning flights from countries still heavily infected? Rather than banning National carriers?
