Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative...

OMG!!!

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
WORRIED COUPLE

My husband and I have been battling with herpes for months now.

I am 28 weeks pregnant and I am so scared for the baby. I have had like 2 episodes since I got pregnant but I was given aciclovir cream to use, it worked but it came back.

I read it online that if you have an episode when you want to give birth, it is very dangerous for the baby. Please gynecologists in the house, how can this be managed.Cos my husband keeps having back to back episodes and it is already becoming worrisome.
I just want my baby to be fine. Thank you

Madam why didn't you go to a Hospital to Physically get really checked and talk with a Doctor?I don't think you should Joke with this at all Ooooooh.
Also i think it would be best you birth your baby via CS.

    2. I have a family instance where a mother had 2 beautiful sets of twins that were not born blind but went blind a few days after delivery because of this kind of infection. The bacteria/fungi got in the eyes of the babies and ate up the nerves and pupils.

Poster, CS is best for you or go and see a doctor and be prepared to spend money for a cure now so you don't end up with a blind baby. God help you.

    3. Not true!!! Don't scare her like that. It's dangerous yes but it's nothing c/s can't solve

    4. Madam go hospital and follow their advice.

    5. Its very true and i am not going to gain anything from scarring her. Virginal birth was the undoing of those 2 sets of children and of course the birth was in a rural area with mid-wives and birth attendants.

Ask a gynea if a mothers untreated infection can cause her child blindness or better still Google it.

CS is a good option if she can't access complete treatment of the herpes.

    6. There is no cure for herpes. It is a lifetime affliction, just like HIV. Madam pastor, “cream” cannot do anything for you. You guys need to visit a proper hospital, there is a daily drug for herpes. You MUST have CS, otherwise your baby will be blind.

The back to back episodes you and your husband are having is due to not taking medicine. The forty’s is at risk of being a carrier as you are not being treated for this. Herpes is a big deal but not popular in Nigeria. Good luck in your quest to do the right thing for your child.

  3. This is serious. What is the cause of the repeated episodes of herpes infection you are both having ?The answer to this question will help you get a permanent solution to the recurring problem. Please visit the hospital and see your doctor, By the way ,have you started your ante natal clinic?

  4. Go to the hospital and seek medical advice

I wish you safe delivery 🤗❤️

  5. Herpes does always reoccur.. Some factors trigger its reoccurence, like stress, fever and d likes. Once a carrier remains a carrier. So if birthing by CS will reduce or completely eradicate the chance of your baby getting it, i think it's best to opt for it

  7. Some advice are better received from healthcare professionals. Carry yourself to Mary Stoppes. You can reach them on Instagram or a simple online search. They were really helpful when I had a botched abortion.

    1. Go back to the hospital and give them feedback so they take another action. Also, I think you should avoid having sex with your hubby for now till you both get cured so you don't keep sharing it.
I pray you get the help you need.

    2. Oh dear I'm sorry..keep using the cream while praying to God for perfect healing ok! Dr Jesus is fixing it,just believe..I will be praying for you 🙏🙏stay strong 🤗🤗

    3. Which hospital? When I was TTC, I went to the hospital but it was a general consultant who only spent 5 seconds with us then administer drugs.

I had to look for a fertility gynae who although expensive, the result of my two sessions with him and Gods grace arrived on Friday.

So, I implore you to visit a very good hospital without minding the money being expended.

FMC's, Teaching Hospitals are still the best so far.

      Good luck

    4. Yes, reinfection is possible because the scars are not properly healed. I assume you both are still sexually active or at least kiss and hug. Yes. Herpes is that easy to spread. One person should leave the house for a period of time while the other thoroughly disinfects the house treats him/herself.
Remember you can only manage your episodes not get a complete cure

    5. Stop having sex with him to prevent getting reinfected.

    6. Hope it is not that you husband is having it raw outside. I mean hope he is not cheating. Because why does it keeps reoccurring after treatment.

    7. HERPES IS NOT CURABLE, IT CAN ONLY BE MANAGED. Episodes will keep on reoccurring

    8. Have protected sex and under no circumstance should you engage in oral sex. If you can, opt for CS. You will be fine.

    9. Unfortunately there is no cure for herpes.. u can only prevent the symptoms, don't even risk it, just opt for cs

    10. Please visit a reputable teaching or private hospital, just as others have advised. Your gynaecologist would have to diagnose the specific STI in order to prescribe the correct course of treatment. E.g. treatment for genital warts and herpes are different so make sure both you and your partner rerun the full battery of tests. Vaginal delivery is possible for herpes sufferers but you must ensure you and your partner fully comply with the prescribed treatment plan. Good hygiene particularly hand washing must be practised upon birth and keep baby protected from family/friends/visitors with visible facial sores or too much external handling until they have developed some immunity around the 3-6 month mark.

  10. So much empathize with you.
Do not fret for it only leads to evil...Psalm 37:8
Like sdk said, seek medial help and do not be ashamed to
do so, for even Jesus said that "the sick needs a doctor..."Mark 2:17
Now is the time to seek the Lord. Immerse yourself, you and your husband in
the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament. Repent of your sins (if you have not
done so). And he says that in all things, he works for the good of those
    that love him Rom. 8:28
On another note, it pays to obey the teachings of Jesus. It is a life
    of peace indescribable.🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

  17. There are two types of HVS..
    1.oral 2 genital.
Locally some people see it on their lips and tag it to be night fever..... But this disease is highly infectious both on adult and children.. This infection shows up sometimes immediately or after like 3weeks.
The first stage of it is the oral virus that appears around your lips or toungue n genital stage 2 of it.
The virus has no cure for now.. But you could take some antibiotics and immune boosters to slow it down from reoccurring so soon...
You need to take alot of fruits and visit your doc on the kind of antibiotics you should take bcs of yur baby... I also advice you please kindly give birth via CS please for the sake of having a healthy baby ok.
    May God heal your family

    1. Just to stress.... Genital herpes isn’t stage 2 of oral herpes. They are different and caused by different kinds of herpes virus usually

      Delete
    2. Please and please, HSV 1 doesn't graduate into HSV 2. Except perhaps oral sex occurs and a carrier of HSV 1 transmits it in the process to his/her sexual partner. And kindly note that it is a viral disease and HENCE ANTIBIOTICS ARE A NO NO!

      Delete
    3. There aren't 2 stages but 2 entirely different strains causing the oral and genital herpes respectively.
Poster talk to your physician, they have your history, can do physical examination and are in a better place to give medical judgement.
Make sure you and hubby dose up on immune boosters Too, fruits, vegetables, Vit c, Zinc, Glutathione for your husband too.

  18. If you must have sex with hubby for now you both should use protection.

There are female condoms that will help you b it b prevent re-infection.

Also....stop seeking medical assessment online. Go to your gynea. Lots of blood test.

You may need to perform cs for your baby.

There is no need to know how you caught it. What's important is that both you and hubby are working together to resolve the situation.

  19. Herpes virus has no cure, you remain a carrier for life. You can only manage your episodes. Up your intake of vitamins to boost your immunity and see your doctor also. But if you're looking for a cure, there's none.

  20. Pregnancy is an immunocompromised state. The herpes simplex virus can lie dormant in the body system but any condition that compromise immunity will make it reactivated.Dear poster, just inform your obstetrician of your medical history.

  21. Did your husband infect you or what?
Herpes is not curable but can be managed and some factors would make it to reoccur.
You can't even take strong antibiotics cus of your pregnancy. You and your husband have to stay away from sex completely for now or use protection.
Seriously only jesus can fix this.
Speak healing every day over you and your husband.
Two of you should come together plead the blood and agree the finished work of jesus is manifest in your situation he took your infirmities, shame , discomfort on the cross by his stripes you are healed! Miracles happen have faith!

  30. Poster STOP HAVING SEX WITH YOUR HUSBAND. At least for now. The back to back flare ups are worrisome. Schedule a CS to be on the safe side

    ReplyDelete
  31. Only your gynecologist and infectious disease doctor can suitably manage you as they have all your history and other details. I would recommend you register ASAP in a federal hospital or at least State.
    Here’s some general recommendations:
    1. Oral Acyclovir regimen from 36 weeks. It might eliminate the need for a CS but only your doctor can decide that
    2. If no CS, your child gets tested when he’s born
    3. Stop having sex with your husband and let him start Suppressive therapy with acyclovir so you guys can stop having reactivations.
    Goodluck!
