This is a topic most people shy away from discussing but the reality on ground is something else...
Oh dear,I know someone who took out her womb cause of the pain she went through every month.......It was a horrible.
Every woman has a story to tell concerning this monthly 'bleeding'
Be strong Ifu!!!
Mine is not even the sanitary pad aspect, it's the fact that he cramps almost kills me Everytime. whether i take sugary things r not. I can't wait to get married and start doing things, heard it will reduce the pain. Leeemaooo.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine who is married with kids still experience the same severe pains.. I don't think it works for everyone.
DeleteNo don't believe the hype I am married I still get painful cramps!
DeleteI was waiting for that too o. Only for me to hear the painful news that it's not true.
DeleteSha hoping my case will be different when I get married and start doing things
A useful way to manage the pain is by starting pain medications a day before you period starts. This helps to mask the, making it tolerable. . Married or unmarried, painfull period still occurs.
DeleteHmmmm I understand only too well where Ifu is coming from, only too well.............
DeleteYou guys, if you can, stay away from red meat also. Since I stopped taking red meat and soda, the cramps became so minimal.
DeleteIfu since you're soaking fast, it's gradually getting heavy, that was how mine started. Please read more on PCOS, hormonal imbalance, fibroid, and endometriosis. Once you match your symptoms, please follow up on remedies, I particularly don't like surgery. Check out food to cut out.please don't forget to put God first, pray and keep making declarations on your belly and anoint your belly button every day declaring what you want. I thank God for my life. Mine is a miracle. I used the biggest Always pad, it's like half the size of baby pampers and I spend like 7k on pad monthly but God has delivered me. It's a long story but I give God all the glory.
DeleteMy thoughts too. It could be fibroad. I always felt I have the worst cramp with heavy bleeding with in life. Hmmm I will be screaming as if I would die from the pain, pulling my hair sometimes I vomit before I could be relieved. It is not easy to be a woman and my pimples haa on another level.
DeleteThis is the 2 by 2 that made millions in hours from selling beauty products.
ReplyDeleteA fly that thinks itself a bird.
Is it a whole God's creation you are dissing like this?
DeleteFear God Anon
some of you are so immature its amazing...stale gist that the world has gone past, your bitter self had to bring it up. hate will not take you far
DeleteMine isn't painful and I try not to take sugary things days before my period comes.
ReplyDeleteMy problem is ovulation .. I feel lower abdominal pain especially at the right side though it lasts for 2 days. I don't know what to do about it.
haaaa the ovulation pain is ridiculous, whichever side the egg is coming out from will be so painful for 4 days, i kniw when the egg is moving towards my uterus sef, then after that , the pain subsides. It helps me to avoid pregnancy sha, because once am getting that pain, no unprotected sex o. Thank God i dont get period pain
DeleteAbby shey you know that sperm can actually live in a womans body for 7 days... be careful oooo
DeleteI love dis ur style of ovulating like u feel it when it's occurring. Some dnt even knw wen dey re ovulating they go as far buy a tracker just to knw if dey are alright.
DeleteMy ovulation pain is baaaad. I cry sometimes cos the pain no be am.
Deletedespite the pain I experience, yet I feel horny.. Nawaa o.
DeleteFemilicious, thumbs up, especially when you have unprotected sex say 4-5 days before your ovulation, the sperm can survive there waiting for the ovum
DeleteThat will get better once you start having babies. After 4 kids, I hardly feel pain associated with ovulation now.
DeleteFucking Fucking... Pele ooo Ifu Mayben Child birth will reduce the pain...
ReplyDeleteMy mom's own never stopped till menopause.
DeleteThe migraines
ReplyDeleteBloating
Magnesium & multi vitamins help though
That bloating is where my problem lies . And I get so emotional when I'm on period. Loool
DeletePls how do I get the magnesium?
DeleteGood pharmacy
DeleteI know of a girl in sec school then, she will be crying and rolling on the ground, as I haven't started seeing mine, I'd scared that she'd eventually die.
ReplyDeleteNext day, she'd continue her normal life and I'd be asking question of what actually happened to that Camerounian girl... I no still understand till laterrrr. Lol
Please anyone reading this who is experiencing severe menstrual pain should get checked for PCOS,endometriosis or fibroids. I am glad I finally got diagnosed, because that gave me an idea of what I was dealing with, and how to take precautions.
DeletePeriod kwa, in public space? 😮😮
ReplyDeleteMy only problem with this is that when you miss
that period, you do not come to the public space to
tell us what you do to see in again the next month, do you?
😏😏😏😏😏😏
Abeg, stop it. Menstruation should not be treated as a taboo topic.
Delete@17:24
Delete"Taboo topic o" or bamboo topic,
Just match your breaks. Gather your used menstrual pads and
pants and spread it on Instagram for all to watch and hail you.
And you skipped my question; what do you do when you start looking for that
period for 2 months, do you bring it online too?
Rubbish
ReplyDeleteThis habit of discussing ones period on social media should stop.
It is annoying, childish and disgusting.
Most females who do this are suffering from Histrionic personality disorder(HPD). Whatever happens during my period concerns me and only me. If I think something is wrong, I'll go see a gynaecologist.
I don’t think you know Ifu, she must talk! Talkative
DeleteI think it is good to discuss it. Those having issues can have solutions. Many are lucky they don't have any issues, but if you have experienced serious issues you won't mind discussing it to find solutions. Besides why should it be a hidden and taboo subject? If you know what some people are passing through ehnnn..........
DeleteThere is nothing wrong with discussing periods. All these taboo and stigma regarding periods need to stop. It is a human issue. Something millions of women relate to, so why the hush hush?
DeleteGo online. A lot of people have offered here sympathies and their own personal experiences because they can relate. Its PERIODS and not a disease.
@Fan focus on the message, if she's a talkative what are you?
DeleteMtcheew I must comment and concur.
Men have morning hard-on, do you see them publicly discussing it?
DeleteThings regarding the privates should stay PRIVATE!
If you go through just the comments here, you will learn a thing or 2. So her posting it is informative. The whole thing is demystified and you can being to understand and respect other people's experiences and appreciate the extent to which we are the same yet so different.
DeleteMen having a hard on is different from women menstruating. Simple biology. And nobody stopped them from discussing it if they want to.
DeleteHow can you even compare hard on to menstrual pain that some ladies even get admitted in the hospital for? Doesn't make sense.
DeleteAnd after telling the world about how your period treats you; does the pain go away? Does the Flow reduce? What positive outcome do you get from your unnecessary chatter? Yeah, right NOTHING!!!!
DeleteAnd why are you ranting over the place? Is it your period? Leave those who want to share their experiences to share and stop constituting nuisance on the post.
DeleteMust you even open every post? If a post doesn't interest you or make sense to you keep It moving.
Who are you to tell anyone what or what not to share? Suck it up please!!!
of course the members of the daft committee wont see any need...if they let off steam about other issues why not period that gies them pain and other discomfort...local rats
Deletefan is only a hater so anything ifu says will almost make her open her gutter mouth...if it was e.g chioma who said it na clapshe for clap
DeleteMine didn't use to be painful but now i experience pains especially on the second day, although it is not up to some people's extend. God will help us!
ReplyDeleteUsing postinor and co scatters periods
DeleteIfe erike
ReplyDeleteHow ladies comfortably talk about this still amazes me.
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteIt's a very stupid trend that needs to stop.
I can't even discuss my period with my closest female friends, and this one I discussing it with total strangers.
Why?
DeleteWhy should she not talk about it? Is it something to be ashamed of?
DeleteMaybe you should ask yourself why it irritates you. There is nothing wrong with talking about it.
DeleteChange your mindset. Period is not taboo and shouldn't be seen as one.
DeletePeriod is not a taboo... bla bla bla.
DeleteWhy don't you guys discuss how often you cum during sex. The colour of your discharge, texture and smell. Also tell us how wide or tight your lady parts is.... Nonsense
I swearrrrrrr..... how people sit and comfortably talk about it with strangers or even close friends is what I don’t get and certainly can’t do... for me it’s really uncomfortable.
DeleteI use my son's diapers...size 4..just slide it in btw like maternity pads.Super comfortable and I can live normally for 5/6 hours. With the other slim ones I was running mad having to locate a toilet every 1/2 hours when at work. Did 2 fibroid surgeries but the truth is they grow back and every surgery is a risk.
DeleteAm using baby diaper cos of heavy bleeding
ReplyDeletePlease how do you go about it?Help a sister biko.
DeleteI heard about baby diapers on this blog, tried it and it was super comfortable. For ne size 4 is d ideal size any size smaller or bigger no dey work. Anon 17.17, depending on your body size buy baby diapers, use a bigger but firm panties ( full panties) and you are good to go.
DeleteThanks anon 18:57
DeleteI've learnt a new one. Thanks anon
DeleteI use this too
DeleteSuper comfortable
I'm rounding up mine right now. Day 4, no particular pains but I feel messed up to even step outside. We move abeg. Coz if e lost na, I go gather torch light begin dey find am.
ReplyDeleteFirst time I saw someone go through period pain was when I visited a coursemate of mine, the pain was excruciating, like she couldn't even walk properly,I became scared and thought there was more to it than just period, but she told me to calm down that it was a normal thing.
ReplyDeleteAnon 16:01, there is nothing disgusting about discussing period,I used to have period pains when I was new to the game but now aside having mood swings I just dislike (I don't want to use the word hate) my mum for no reason like everything she does annoys me.
Period pains are not "normal" there is an underlying medical issue attached to it.
DeleteIt is awfully painful, ever since i started avoiding sugar it stopped,
ReplyDeleteAnother one is ovulation pain.
I don't have pains at all just this feeling of being uncomfortable and mood swings but my sis has it so much worse. Sorry Ify. It will pass as always.
ReplyDeleteI get period and ovulation pains...the mood swing no be here ...my emotions are usually everywhere
ReplyDeleteAfter I had a baby, the pain reduced to a great extent.Still feel some pain but not something I cant manage. Before childbirth,I always carried drugs in my purse everywhere I go. My own pain was unbearable. Thank God for my little man
ReplyDeleteMuch love to every woman 😍. Monthly pain and child birth ain't easy.
ReplyDeleteMuch love 😍 my queens ✌🏾
DeleteThis world is funny oh. Do you know how much I pray to have cramps just so I know how it is? I get my periods for two days and that's it infact I use a full pack of pad for two or three months and when it comes it's just like nothing is happening no pain or heavy flow. I thought i had a problem but na lie I have kids male and female and had the most easiest child birth and I'm super fertile oh. I don't even want to talk about my armpit as I've only shaved it few times because hair doesn't grow there.my period is my best friend because our relationship is the sweetest.
ReplyDeleteWow. You are so lucky.
DeleteWow! You're so lucky!
