My wife died few hours given birth to my twins (2girls)since then life has been so though being a mother and father at d same time but this year has been d worst cause I have lost my job as a result of covid19 something shocking happened this morning by 12am ...

My twins woke up from bed and called me up daddy daddy momma woke us up to tell us not to be worried that what we are going to eat today won't pass us heavy cold entered my body but as a man hmm.... my brothers and sister I was scared out of my skin from my body but I  pretended as if all was well till this morning someone I don't know claims a friend brought us Rice, garri and beans but still can't believe I am still dreaming but I just cooked from d food stuffs given to us tears kept rushing out of my eyes...... death why did u do this us ?





wow.....Oga please enjoy the food..I pray you find another source of livelihood.
Seems your wife's ghost is following you around..I hope she will let you remarry when and if you want to?

Thank you all, Stella, thanks for posting it, I thank u again. I so much appreciate your kind words and all kinds of words here. All I wanted is encouragement not to fall in deeper. And am glad I did get them. Its not easy being single and alone. My marriage broke down cos he left despite the DV which wasn't that much but I hated it.

 We are all Christians and from the East. I hardly go out so no much time for relationships. I just enjoyed the attention and care from him. He does love the wife, he told me the wife is just perfect and they've never had any major quarrel. I even pray that the wife conceives twins. But I would just love a man and kids of my own too. 

I would never break a home, cos that's how mine broke. I've been avoiding his calls, as I type,he is calling which I've ignored. I just need to be stronger. Tnx all.

NIGERIAN NATIONAL ID CARD


Hello Stella,

Are you aware that our Nigerian National Identity card do expire?

The issuing Agency, NIMC requires us to pay N5,000.00 to renew.

The implication of the above position is that Nigerian Citizenship expires till it be renewed.
Please find out.





For anyone else in doubt of this,please know that a National ID card is renewable for both those born in a Country and those who became citizens via Marriage or natural processes.....

..And with each renewal comes a fee except stipulated by that country that there is no fee...

''Good morning Stella. I trust you are well and your family too. Recently I have been on and off the blog. In fact I have had this as a draft since July 21st. My younger sister was diagnosed in June of Classic Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It is a cancer that attacks the immune system.


She has been admitted to a hospital (3 weeks now) and they had been carrying out series of tests before they can proceed with the treatment. Just yesterday, the doctors gave a go ahead for chemotherapy and they will start today.


Please kindly mention it on the blog because God knows we need all the prayers we can get. Please keep me anonymous till when our testimony is complete.

Causes of Sore Nipples While Breastfeeding-

Poor Latch

The most common cause of nipple pain is an improper latch. Such discomfort is piercing, immediate and short-lived, typically occurring as soon as your baby starts nursing and gradually subsiding during the feeding.


Ankyloglossia
Also known as tongue-tie, this is a relatively common condition in which the frenulum, the bit of tissue that attaches the tongue to the floor of the mouth, is too short to allow for proper tongue movement.I experienced this because of an inexperienced midwife.

Yeast Infection
If your pain is burning or stabbing and does not lessen as the feeding progresses, it is likely due to a yeast infection known as candidiasis. Yeast grows in warm, dark, moist places, putting nursing nipples at risk.

.An Unusual Suspect
Chronic nipple pain can signal that you're pregnant. If the pain lasts well after a feeding, you may want to take a pregnancy test.


Prevention;
1.Make sure your baby is latching on well or correctly.

2.Breastfeeding in good position.

3.Soften your breasts so your baby can latch on.Try to remove a bit of breast milk before each feeding to prevent the tightness and soften it too.

4.Breast feed your baby at least every 2 to 3 hours.A hungry baby sucks aggressively and this causes tightness and pain to the nipple.

5.Try to keep the skin around your breasts and nipple healthy.Do not use harsh soaps that can irritate and dry them out.Get a breast moisturizer from supermarket or pharmacy.

6.Change your breast pads often to prevent bacteria growth that can cause soreness.
