  4. Abeg, dont let us take things too far. Let us discipline our children with love. When they do anything wrong, correct them by spanking, beating on the Palm or bumbum and let them know why they were beaten. This is Africa. Look at the adult boy destroying things at his parents house in the US all becuase they did t give him what he wanted.
Let discipline our children with love,Cain ,affection and have their time too. To me,the bible is already a complete book becuase it told us not to spare the rod and to train a child so he won't depart from it.
When you are in Rome, behave like one.
The boy looks taken care of very well becuase some children can so frustrate you ehen!

  5. Madam, calm down. Someone cannot discipline her child in peace again? If a child turns out badly, y'all will still say it's bad parenting bla bla bla. It's not easy instilling disciple in kids especially boys.

Was there any injury on the said child? I don't think so. Parenting isn't a small job, take it easy.

  6. For the first time in my life I agree with this woman. My parents loved us so much, I SWEAR it they still do. They didn't know that their excessive discipline was too much for us as children. It affected my younger brother the most. This generation knows we can do better. I am just hoping that the mother didn't "discipline that child after the video.

    2. I don't understand why she brought It online. I will never share such videos of my kids.
Having said that, kids be disciplined, small small beating is allowed.
Let the oyinbos do what works for them while we do ours. We mustn't always adopt their style.

As long as the beating is minimal, It is allowed.

      Delete
    3. Even if she disciplined her child nothing wrong in that. Is our generation getting better?

    2. Smh.. from the video you can hear the mum say she has cautioned him before but he keeps repeating the offense, she finally decides to punish him and that's abusing him???

The way the kid was relating with his mum, does that look like an abusive relationship to you??

Madam Media aide, why don't you channel this energy elsewhere? We have aloooot of problems in the country but that video is certainly not one.

    3. I did too.. It seemed the mother found pleasure in the boy begging and crying. I mean if you want to spank a child, get on with it and stop traumatizing the child by delays.

Rubbish. I bet u, Lauretta bin dey flog her children but to feel woke now, she wants to put mouth in a matter that doesn't concern him.

That boy was so distressed that he could still ask him mum if she's filming him.

Come live with them and see how emotionally unstable they are, come see shameless disrespect they hang around their necks like a badge of honour...interestingly the kids of the rich in d UK are usually different. Govt bring laws to turn the kids of the majority into a mess, so the kids of d rich will continue to run d country. May this never be the faith of naija! Mumu woman, go see US parents complaining about child protection services and the legal evil they do, media wman go check the trending#CPS....weed brain woman

  32. This woman is annoying honestly;when it comes to matters relating to her principal and important national issues, you won't see her meaningful input. Every mother has their way of disciplining their kids to make them turn out useful to the society in future cos it's the same society that would condemn them if they happen to turn out bad. Madam face your port folio biko.🤔😋

  33. This woman should shut her dirty mouth!
Even here in the UK i discipline my children, i don't allow them to misbehave, i always remind them of being respectful and their teachers in school.

  40. I watched the said video and to be sincere ,I felt really bad for the boy,it hit my heart especially when the poor boy was asking the mom,are you videoing me,and when he said not everything you go dey vex. This is a kind of abuse ,,,that while spanking your child, you as well doing video.

It is very bad please and the woman from what the poor boy said,it's like she always gets angered on a little things.

But i must say,the positive thing I learnt from the video is the way both of them dialogued, it shows they have good communication and that's very necessary in training up a child.

God bless parents trying all their best to train up a child in a good way, it's never easy and no one knows it all.
