Good day Stella ,

I am the DIY IVF lady who wrote in some time a ago on how I conceived by reading about DIY IVF on your blog .I just wanted to let you know my patter of tinny feet has finally arrived .

I'm so overwhelmed cant even believe I'm somebody's mother now .just want to thank God for seeing me through this journey and also say a big thank you to you Stella for this platform.I swear you have no idea how many lives you've saved through your blog .

WE CAN DO MORE BETTER.....

"Mom, it's obvious I failed myself. I tried everything humanly possible to overcome my fears and worries but I am afraid this is where I am gonna draw the curtain, as the light gradually grows dim." This was a sad suicide note a son dropped for his mom.

-"It was so painful seeing his lifeless body on the floor." the mom recounted.

Briefly, I just picked up two paragraphs from the suicide note as shared above. Going through it, I can only but imagine the struggle and pains he may have been through in life. Suicide, though not an option takes so lots of guts before one can finally decide to end it all. The young man may have seen himself as a failure but how was he handle by his family and friends? Was he encourage and counsel? Where they there for him when he needed it the very most? Suicide isn't just a one day decision but a repeated thought process.

To be honest, some of life's challenges, difficulties and tragedy could have been avoided earlier enough if things were properly handled from the very beginning. We live in a judgemental society where only people's faults and wrong doings are being pointed out always. No sincere efforts to encourage, support or even lift them up when they are down. It was so shocking hearing a mother called her child 'good for nothing'. No matter the mistakes one made in life, they don't deserve to be mocked, humiliated or even castigated. For it has a way of destroying the self esteem and confidence of such an individual, for they end up seeing life as worthless thereby having nothing to live for anymore.

Finally, there should be a need or rather should I say proper orientation and education on handling failures in life. Truth is that, we may fail at one point in time in life before finally achieving success. Spending so much time emphasizing on success alone does no good, forgetting that in some cases failures comes before success. People should be made to understand that, failure is not the end of life's journey but also a part and process towards achieving success.

More also, we can actually do better by not placing excessive demand or expectation on people. For when such expectations aren't met, they end up s

eeing themselves as failure and disappointment






Hmmmmm,you jut reminded me of that BV,I have been trying her number for two days,its either she had had another crisis of trying to kill herself or she just doesnt want to look at her phone..I feel so sad really
