It depends on a lot of factors
ReplyDeleteYep. Every case is different. I’ve seen cases where the women moved on right away, some even before the breakup was finalized while in some cases the men moved on quicker. So, a lot of factors comes into play.

DeleteI think it depends on a lot of things. My late Dad said he never got over my Mum. They were never married, but after my Mum, that was it. I pushed him to get married, to move on with his life, but he says there was no one like Mumsy. He had no kids besides my twin and I. I'm happy my Mum did sha😁, atleast I got the "bestest" siblings😘😘😘 from her marriage.
ReplyDeleteAwww. After my mum died, my dad was practically forced to get married and this woman came with trouble. One day my dad didn't know anybody was at home but I was inside and she got into an arguement with my dad, my dad told her to go outside and ask about his late wife that if my mum was alive he wouldn't look at her twice.
DeleteI had a talk with my dad later that I heard the conversation and my dad said yes he meant it and couldn't be bothered.
Some people move on easily but others never move on until they die.

I feel it seems men move on faster cos they're quite good at concealing emotions.

DeleteNot true. I loved him more but moved on faster because he deluded himself into thinking I will always be there. Long after I had already made up my mind to dump him. Never take anyone for granted. Or prepare for a rude shock

My sister's ex never got over her and we are talking 21 yrs ago, he's also married with kids but keeps telling my sister he would never stop loving her, she had to cut him off

Yes, even when you've found the LOYL. The memories still remain,it is your decision to determine what to do with said memories.
Some look back, laugh and ask how stupid was? Then go good riddance.
Others look back, laugh and ask the same question then go "I shouldn't hav"
Some others just look back and cry with a heart filled with regrets.
Irrespective of the circumstances or falsified aura of confidence, no one really gets over anyone otherwise you wouldn't have those funny, sad, romantic or socialized break up stories
My ex boyfriend has not gotten over me at all.. I left him because he was too jealous and possessive,I tried my best by sticking with him all through our three years relationship but I couldn't cope with his attitude so I left and got married to my sweet husband and It has been blissful...
ReplyDeleteMy ex kept disturbing me for us to get back together even though I am now a mother of two children.. He said other women irritates him, he has been calling and disturbing my husband to divorce me if not that my husband is very understanding and trust me so much, that is enough to throw my things out
