BOYFRIEND WITH SMELLING MOUTH
My people, something bothers me. What can make a grown man's saliva to smell? He doesn't have bad breath but the few times we've kissed, I end up perceiving foul smell on my own mouth area(I don't know how else to explain it).
We just started dating and I've kissed about four times but his spittle smells. First time it happened, I felt I was imagining things but this keeps happening. Abeg, what's the cause and possible remedies.
*if you can,please advice him to clean his tongue as well when he is brushing his mouth....If you cant you can continue with the relationship since you kissed him four times already..lol
Smelling mouth is a turn off sha tbh. But if u love him u can help him seek help. Especially if he accepts he has a problem and doesn't flip when u tell him. Goodluck

He should floss his teeth after every meal, scrub his tongue. Most of the toothbrushes we have nowadays are designed in a way that you can scrub your tongue with the other side without hurting your tongue. He should always use mouthwash after flossing or eating

DeleteI noticed something..When you brush your teeth with toothpaste, once done. Just use salt to scrub your tongue.. you have guaranteed 24hours mouth freshness.. Try it especially if you have to do overnight job..

Begin by telling him your observation
and discussing ways you've found out
(from online searches, advice here) to make improvements.
And suspend the kissing for now and get to know this dude well; his temperament, family background, source of livelihood,
plans for the future, spiritual identity (in Christ or in Satan),
thoughts about family and kids etc.
Please, you don't just meet a dude and begin kissing.

DeleteI hate kissing smelling mouth. I feel people need to take their dental health more seriously. When I know I'm going to kiss someone I take extra care of my mouth. Brush your teeth, gently scrub tongue, gently brush your gum...do this very gently. Also brush your lips gently too. Use mouth wash. You can also use baking soda sometimes to brush. Finally brush your teeth at night if you can.
ReplyDeleteSimple oral hygiene. Get tongue scrapper or a cleanroomstick, hold it at both end and place it on your tongue and scrub out the thick whitish or milky dirts off. Pour mouthwash(Listerine or Brett) for two minutes. Brush your mouth thoroughly. You will feel fresh all day.
ReplyDeleteEwww dated someone like that. Babe it wasn't easy so tey when I'm kissing him like this I will want to throw up. I just had to mention it to him in a nicest way as possible. After that the smell was off n on. On days when it smelt manageable I would encourage him. On the days it smelt bad I would just use excuse. With time it got better or maybe I got used to the smell cus he knew I like to kiss so he must have worked on it. I think his own was caused by either forgetting to brush or having closed mouth all day without eating. Bad breath and body odour kill attraction o. U have to say it in a nice way n withhold kissing n sex from him until he changes. That is always a nice motivator

DeleteTonsils/tonsil stones will lead to a foul ofour which even brushing will not get rod of. Google it. Removal of the tonsil has changed the life of people who were siucidal because the cause was unknown.
