    7. Why would a woman be allowed to labour for 23hrs in this age amd time? This is very risky to both mother and child

    10. Anon12:16 prolong labor can lead to birth asphyxiation, aspirations or death of the baby and mother. Any labour More than 12hrs with no improvement the woman should be sectioned

    11. 13:33 thank you for answering her
12:16, the baby will become weak as a result of too much struggling and can die or he may have brain issues and become an imbecile. The mother too can die from exhaustion or the uterus can rupture, that is tear and the woman will die or lose her womb if she is lucky to survive and so many other risks.
It is barbaric to subject a woman to long lab our, it is not mandatory to birth via vagina, birth your baby via CS so you both can live healthy life, let people talk.
Stella , pls do in house gist topic on our child birth experiences. You won't believe a woman was being called a witch after having her child via CS. Her mother in law said she has ogbanje, her mates in their world did not want her to have a child.

  29. I went to hell and returned on my first daughter's birth. For the second, the water broke at exactly 1am in the morning, went to the hospital immediately. No labor pains till about past 5am when the doctor said that I didn't have water again and so I'll be operated. I was even on Stella's blog that day and on Facebook. No one believes me that night when I told them I was in labor πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
It was when I heard operation that I called my prayer partners then. One of the guys told me get water for him to pray on it via the phone. I did and I can still remember the prayer point where he said he commands serious and hot labor pain that will birth the child to begin. This was now about 6am. By the next 5minutes,I couldn't bear the pain that came again. I felt I would die and even confessed all my known and unknown sins LMAO
At exactly 7:00am that December morning,I gave birth to this my talk talk angel.
I even had a second episiotomy again and the doctors took close to an hour to work there.
Motherhood is an experience I wish every woman.
Happy birthday to you baby Reign.
Make I no come make the post about me

    1. Episiotomy is something that should be abolished. If a child is too big is better to do c/s for the woman. Drs will give you one wicked episiotomy that weeks later or months later you're still feeling pains in your lady's part down below. With what I went through in my first vaginal delivery no body should ever advice me again to try vaginal delivery again. Anybody that does it I will just curse that person. Any other child I'm having will be through c/s or I will get an epidural and the dortors will dare not give me another episiotomy. I'm yet to recover almost a month after giving birth. I regret everyday not going for the cesarean section delivery I've earlier booked for. I'm still having excruciating pains in my perineal area even as I'm typing. I'm even tired of taking pain killers and antibiotics couple with twice a day sitz bath. The pains after sitz bath nko? Abeeeg. I love Indians that don't subject women to any useless archaic vaginal delivery. Every woman that gives birth there is via ceaseran section. Which is better.

  31. Mine was funny....i was hitting the wall so hard and shouting Holy Spirit you promised na, why is it now so painful.
With the yeye nurse sleeping and telling me she can't check again because her hand is paining...thank God for that wonderful doctor God used for me. He is an angel in human form. That nurse na winch winch come and see the way she was arguing with a doctor over baby's head.
I bless your name oh God in heaven.

  32. That journey is not a small journey.... If some women remembered the pain they went thru on that day they would not dare to get pregnant again but our God is such an awesome God that makes us to forget the pains quickly and replace it with joy when we look that our patter of tiny feet
