    1. Wow Nigeria has really lost it!! I miss when we had real first ladies with class and grace like Maryam Abacha, Miriam Babangida, Victoria Gowon, Stella Obasanjo, Abimbola Fashola..It is a pity very painful..

  3. Are you sure that's coming from her official account?.

Sounds razz, coming from a First Lady!

    1. Nothing razz about her write up. She's only saying the Media should use the same energy they used in announcing her positive status to the world to also announce her negative status. Kapish.

    2. You noticed right. She can be razz sometimes.

  8. Lol, I think the woman is being bullied for not being Yoruba. This her rant seems aimed at a group of people specifically. She may be ranting but the woman knows what she is saying. They are either bullying her for not being a Yoruba first lady or for being a vocal woman. I see her as fiesty. Mama calm down, don't give them what they are looking for.

    2. Really? Coming from someone who knows nothing about ondo state, everything isn't about tribe, until you know what's up pls keep quiet! can any Yoruba first lady try this in the east? Pls just keep quiet!

    3. Hurpe exactly what I am saying. Tribal sentiments following your statement "can any Yoruba First lady try this in the East".tribalism is a big problem in Nigeria. Until we start to see ourselves as one Nigeria and not Igbo woman misbehaving in Yoruba Land or Yoruba woman misbehaving in the East. We will remain the same. Until an Igbo man can be appointed governor in a Hausa state because he is born and bred in the north and has the true interest of the people of the state he was born and bred in and not the language his parents speak. Nigeria will remain backward. Until Nigeria is at a place where intellect and genuine love for your people supperceeds to tribal sentiments and belly infrastructure. Nigeria will forever remain where it is.

    4. Y, you're not far from the truth...

    5. Hurpe, read Y's comment. It's loud and clear.

You can't 'unmarry' her from her husband so you could 'marry in' a Yoruba first Lady same way no other tribe can dissolve the any inter-tribal marriage. Such couples chose their life partners without tribal sentiments.

Major General Ike Nwachukwu (Rted), former Imo State Governor is married to a Yoruba woman.

Will you refuse a doctor from another tribe treating you or saving your life ?

Please let go of tribalism. It is UGLY! πŸ˜–πŸ˜”

      Delete
    6. Ok tribalism is not good but when a first lady whose husband, the governor, was 'democratically elected' comes with the attitude of 'I am better than these Yoruba people' (that is how I perceive her attitude and yes I am from Ondo state), then the people will likely go tribalistic with her in return. How would you feel if your brother's wife (or sister's husband) looks down on you because she (or he) kinds of perceived herself as being from a superior tribe? Trust me, you will likely go all tribalistic on her to put her in her place. You see this woman is not helping her husband's reputation and ambition at all. Wisdom is profitable.

    7. The woman must have gone through a lot. Nne don’t give them the dagger to stab you. Just keep quiet and be careful. Jealousy go plenty o.

    9. "I think the woman is being bullied for not being Yoruba" these were your words not mine yet I am being tribalistic? I said what I said, she doesn't want to be judged yet she talks anyhow to tax payers whose money her family embezzles? I am a federal government staff but the way the family runs the government is insane and shameful, yet when we talk we are being tribalistic. I said what I said biko!

    10. Anon 14:47, I still say it we don't know what she goes through in her inner house that makes her always defensive.that air of being better than the Ondo people may be a form of defense. Except she has been rude or harsh right from time in memorial. you are absolutely right. She must use wisdom, she must drop that deep down anger she may have for being treated poorly in the early days. She should make sure she proves them wrong that she still has an open heart. I am not from that state but the comment "Arabirin " she put to me seems she is speaking to people who refer to her as arabirin.

    11. Y the husband calls himself ArΓ‘kΓΉnrin so she decided to call herself arabinrin.

    12. Hurpe whatever anyone says here won't change anything. She's the first lady of Ondo State just like Dame Patience J. was first Lady of Nigeria.

When their time in office is up, they will leave and continue their inter-tribal marriage as they have done before they came to power.

Good leaders are hard to come by in Nigeria even in your place of work.

Let's start by changing the man in the mirror. πŸ‘ˆ

  24. Her character looks like her face, I have never seen a serving couple as uncouth as they are, they have no human sympathy and the way they address people is zero, the man has been paying state government workers in % upper month I heard he paid 50% last month 30 something % yet they have no iota of pity or respect for them meanwhile Ondo state is an oil producing state. The annoying thing is after starving them they will buy another 4 years with 1000 naira. I pray he doesn't get elected

  25. Did she really write this? The tone is not what one would expect from someone in her position.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Really this is so tacky! All these first ladies are above all these market talk! Please a little more dignity next time

    ReplyDelete
  27. There's nothing razz about what she said or how she said it! Her message is clear but full of humour which should not be a problem.

People should stop forcing others to assume a certain standard that they think is right in their head for being in a particular "class". Naija and our rubbish "class" structure.

She's obviously a very lively woman from her writeup and I like her already.

  28. I think the Ondo state first lady is very much at home with this way of responding to issues. There was one that I saw on fb sometime last month, worse than this one. Some people were so surprised that they opened that it must have been written by her media aide only for me to see another. Too bad of her. I held her in higher esteem than this really.

  30. Tribalism is Nigeria's first language. Worship of Mormon( money is the second), incompetence is the third, elitism and an elite entitlement is the fourth language. All these have conspired to keep the country below down.

    1. Lol, na really keep us below... You are so apt ..... We no go reach up ooooo. we still like to wallow in blissful ignorance.

    2. Mormon is not the same as Mammon (worship of money). Please get your spellings right. Mormon is the name of an ancient American prophet of God who abridged the scripture now known as the Book of Mormon. Tankiu.
