THE HEART TRULY KNOWS WHAT IT WANTS (CONT'D)

One afternoon, Jude came to eat at the restaurant and when he was done, Nkem's madam approached him and said, "I hope you enjoy your meal?" Jude smiled and complimented her. She continued, "We deliver meals to people at their office and home on request. My daughter can always bring your meal at your office or home if you want. 


It will save you some time to do other things at the office. Let me call her so the both of you can talk about it."


For few minutes, Jude and madam's daughter talked about it even though he wasn't interested in the food delivering thing but had to give her attention and promising to think over it.

The next day, Jude didn't come to the restaurant neither did he come to pick up Nkem but came over to see her at home at night. They both had some discussions inside his car, where he expressed his feelings towards her and his intention to marry her. With a smile, Nkem welcomed his interest and asked some questions about his family, work and all that. Jude promised to make his intention known to her family.

About leaving, Jude told Nkem about the food delivering thing her madam proposed to him yesterday afternoon. Nkem laughed over it and said, "that woman will never change. She has always been like this." At that point she opened up to Jude that her transfer to the kitchen department was to take her away from attending to him. She advised him to stop coming to the restaurant for they can always see after work.

Jude now comes once in a while to pick her up after work. This didn't go down well with Madam and her daughter, they believe Nkem may have influence Jude's action and also ruin their plans.

Gradually, Nkem started receiving some cold treatment from her employer and daughter. She decided to quit at the end of that month but first she will discuss it with her man. When she informed Jude about it, he advised her to work for another one more month but not to receive the salary. It should be a free service to them and a 'thank you' message for their kindness to her.

A week to the end of that month she will resign, Jude engaged her. Together they came to the restaurant and informed her madam about her resigning. It was so surprising when they discovered she was already engaged. Life, so unpredictable.

Make no mistake about this. When a man finally decide to settle down, he often chooses and goes for character over beauty.

Today, Nkem and Jude are happily married with beautiful kids. Love has a way of finding what the heart truly wants.

Dietary Treatment of Acne

A loved one suffered acne for years but immediately he got married(after a year), it cleared off.

His dietary pattern or food choices was the cause of the breakout.
He consumed more of high glycemic index foods (foods that leave high amount of glucose in the blood) like bread/tea,Egg Roll,meat pie,soft drinks etc because of bachelorhood which left him with rough face.

He was acne-free because his wife was now preparing nutritious meals instead of those junks/easy to prepare meals that exposed him to the breakout.

Acne is a very common skin condition characterized by blackheads, white heads and sores.It develops when pores in the skin becomes clogged with dead cells or bacteria.The skin produces too much oil that keeps the body from drying out.

Foods to avoid :

*Dairy products like yoghurt, ice cream, milk

*Foods with high glycemic index(these foods raise levels of blood sugar)like breads, breakfast cereals, pineapples, potatoes,rice, popcorn etc.They cause inflammation to the body which affect the skin.

Foods that reduce the breakout:

*Fish eg mackerel, sardines

*Soybean and its products

*Nuts like walnuts and almond

*Green leafy Vegs-Garden egg and the likes.

*Fruits like banana,orange etc.

General tips are;
1.Washing the skin and face twice a day and after sweating.

2.Washing the hair,especially oily scalp with shampoo

3.Avoid picking,scratching or touching pimples.

4.Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun.

APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF A BLOG VISITOR

I am pleased to apply for the position of a Blog Visitor in your reputable organization. I have being a silent visitor for about four years and last month, I filled a form applying for a BV position using the pseudonym ‘sarcasm’. It was with a glad heart that I received a notification that my application was successful. However, I noticed that I have been denied access whenever I try to carry out my responsibilities as a BV- which includes commenting on posts, gossiping with fellow BVs, counselling etc. 

Every time I perform my responsibilities to the best of my abilities, I always come back to check-with blurry eyes- only to realize that I have not been published.

Ma, I have thought long and hard about it and I think it’s probably because I didn’t get the go-ahead from the boss before starting my job, so I hereby reapply for the position of a BV.

Also, it has come to my scrutinizing eyes that there are certain positions in this organization that are filled with professionals, such as SDK lawyer, BV dietician, SDK tailor, however I have never seen a SDK pharmacist. I was tempted to apply for the position of SDK pharmacist; however, I’m currently in my final year in school so kindly keep the position for me.

I know it makes this letter less formal but I love you! You are an amazing person and whenever I wonder how you carry out all these good deed without making noise, I want to scream out to the world on your behalf.
