  3. This question depends on your mode of living, with any amount one can work out a budget to maximize and utilize it well if not, even with much you will not be comfortable...But with the inflations everywhere since this corona issue, such amount will not be enough honestly and that is why multiple streams of income is always the right way to go, if you want to be truly comfortable with your mode of living in Nigeria today 😫

Feeding alone is expensive not to talk of taking care of children's needs, transportation, fueling of vehicles, health care, that's if you are not under any HMO plan. The list is just endless.

  35. 100k will do for me and my family of three children.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hmmmmmmmmmm this depends solely on the individual mode of spending. However, it would be a struggling adventure for a family person due to Paying of house rent, school fees, feeding, clothing, transportation, etc. Nigeria economy is getting worse by the day, is well.

    ReplyDelete
  37. 150k will be okay...

    ReplyDelete
  38. 100K will not be enough for my expenditures and savings.

A self-con accommodation here is about 150 to 170K. Then you'd talk about feeding, transportation, payments for my career advancement, siblings' school fees and a whole lot more.

About 150 to 200K would suffice here.

    God!!
Please shine your countenance on me and bless me with a federal or multinational job.

This teaching job's remuneration is barely enough for me to survive.

    Please hear my cry Lord!!

  39. Where I live in Lagos ehn, that 100k has gone fiam for just transport fare in a month not to talk of me that have 4 children plus one nephew. Na prayer I dey so o. God no go shame us.

  40. 200k will do better than 100k, in short no amount of money will do because the more pay you get the more problems you will face.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Looking at the comments, I see most people have capped 200k as the ideal Income to live a better life. Wait till you collect that same money for 3 month, then you will know even 500k per month is nothing.
We are all Oliver Twist, we always ask for me.
However, I would say no amount is too small or to big, if you don't live above your means.
Earning 200k per month and renting a 750k/annum apartment is a NO NO!
Your house rent must not be more than your 2 month salary, and always apply the 60/40 rule.
