The comments in the career post i made some days back really made me sad...We dont seem to realise that we are in trouble...If the teachers go hungry because they are not being paid because they are at home and they lose concentration and the teach the kids badly,who will be responsible?
I heard some schools are begging or forcing parents to pay schools fees so that they can pay teachers but there is a problem...How can a parent who has not been paid pay for school fees of a child sitting at home so that a teacher who has not been paid will be paid?Wahala dey!!!
My heart goes out to all the BVs who are teachers,either in public or private schools!
I hope i did not make any gbagaun in this post oh, before Madam PA will call to say ''Boss there is a mistake,blah blah blah''....Hahahahahahhahaha
Hmmm i forgot to gist you people öööööö...
I wont go into details for the sake of data protection and because i do not have her permission to tell the story....There is a BV whose oyibo hubby almost strangled the life out of her on Saturday and now she has to be taken into protective custody because she called the cops on him when he almost ended the life of their month old baby girl same day...he was escorted out of the house and ordered to stay away for two weeks but there are fears he might finish off the job when he is allowed to return...
The beauty of this is that if you do the crime abroad,you do the time!

One of the enemy’s primary goals is to distract believers. If he can distract us, he can increase the chances of us making mistakes that are life threatening. Remember, he is out to steal, kill and destroy. However, Jesus came so that we might have life and have life more abundantly (see John 10:10).
The Bible says, “They that seek Me early shall find me”. The word “early” here means to dawn. It also means to be up early at any task (with the implication of earnestness). Not only are we encouraged to pray early in the morning, but I believe the Lord is also encouraging us to seek Him before making decisions, and as we go about our daily activities. I call it simply “checking in.” Before my husband comes home, he will call me just to check in and see if I need anything. I can’t tell you the number of times God was able to protect me and my family simply because we know the importance of checking in with Him. We’ve learned how to quiet ourselves and slow down long enough to follow God’s leading. Sometimes I don’t hear an audible voice saying do this or that, just a gentle nudge. That nudge has saved my life and the lives of my children on several occasions.
Don’t let the enemy distract you with all of the cares of life. Stay sober and vigilant. Listen for the direction of the Holy Ghost. When you do this, you will find wisdom, life and the favor of the Lord.

ReplyDeleteSo yesterday i was absent on most post except for SP where i just dropped my comment and went AWOL...These past few days have been fun and sweet for me because I finally travelled to see my mum after much pleas from her even before the corona pandemic got to naija, So when i finally suprised her this weekend by paying her an unannounced and unexpected visit she was lost for words and was so glad to finally see me in person after few months😊🤗..she has been so happy and excited for three days now non stop😁, you would think her excitement would have died down by now, but she keeps spoiling me like am some kind of baby😂😂😂, i feel shy and spoilt with how this lovely woman pampers me(you need to see the delicious delicacies she has been feeding me with😋🤤😂), Since i arrived we have been gisting and laughing all the time and mostly late at night when she is through with her zeeworld programs😆, she has also been giving me some great advise and counsel about life through nice stories and previous occurrences of few past events, it gladdens & puts absolute peace & joy in my heart whenever am receiving her prayers(nothing beats a mothers prayer).......Yesterday morning before she woke up i went to the mall to get her foodstuffs & some basic things for her and immediately she saw them when i returned she was over the moon with praises and more prayers for me, she sang and danced with me and i was so shy but i was very happy to see her so joyous🥰😍😘...My mum is the best and she does not joke with me at all and am so grateful for all the things she did for me and my siblings while growing up🤗 and i pray God blesses me and everyone else to be able to give our mothers all they truly deserve 🙏🏾

ReplyDeleteI cleared my closet last night and sorted my clothes. I practically separated the sheep from the goat,i think it's better to have few necessary clothes than many unnecessary ones. Sometimes you find out that you have a lot of clothes but without sorting them out you won't know there are some you're tired of,some you don't even like and some that have no business occupying your space.
ReplyDeleteSorting out your clothes also helps you to know if you need to change your wardrobe entirely or add to the few ones. For me,what i wear gives me confidence. It doesn't matter if others don't like it,as long as it feels good on me it's confidence over load i've noticed that about me and i try to look out for such clothes.
Ladies look around you for what will give you that confidence. You might be looking far or you haven't even found out.
Crushing on all the beautiful women who are striving to be better you all are unique.

ReplyDeleteSome Private Schools have resumed school. According to a neighbor, her daughter goes to school from 8am till 10pm and then another batch follows. I guess the government doesn't know about it yet.

I don't know if government is paying teachers of public schools but for private,a friend of mine told me it is half that they have been paying, another said since march they have not received a dime, another told me it is 30 percent they are paying. May God come through for them. It is well.
