That Orchid flower up is mine,i took that photo yesterday.....
I bought the flower over a year ago but it died on me...i had it in the living room and everyday i would put a little water and admire the beautiful petals but it kept dying until it was completely gone....I was sad and decided to throw it away.
The day i was to throw it away.....I decided to change its location and see...I removed it from the living room which was always warm cos of the heater and put it in the hallway which was not warm or cold...I put it there and waited....
After five months,the Orchids came back and the photo up there is what it looks like now..
Sometimes our dreams die because we are positioned in the wrong place,and we stress ourselves every day trying to keep the dream alive...
All you need to do is change location and be patient!...I hope you get the message?

It happens to be that 99.9% of the time, whenever we assume something, our assumptions are usually wrong. We can think, “He walked by me because…”, “She didn’t respond because…”, or “They didn’t invite me because…” When we assume, we are making judgments without knowing the real facts. Assumptions can keep our minds preoccupied all throughout the day, and if we aren’t careful, we will create emotions about something that hasn’t been proven to be true. Our body doesn’t know the difference between an assumption and a fact and will respond as if everything it feels is real.
Maybe they didn’t invite you because they forgot. Maybe she didn’t respond to you because her life has been extremely busy lately. Maybe he walked by you because he was focused on getting somewhere on time and didn’t see you. Everything people do is not because they don’t like you or because they feel something negative about you. Don’t let assumptions ruin you. If you feel it’s important to know something, it is wise to ask. We can’t think about “whatever is true” if we don’t know what is true.

I had just relocated a few months back due to my job and had not so much settled in. So it's safe to say, I lived a very monotonous life at that point and had few friends around. My friend, Sara wasn't happy with it. She would say, "Sabella, you need to have an active social life, you need to make new friends, you need to......ugh! she never comes up short of ideas for me and consistently had a considerable rundown of things I was expected to do. Just when I thought I had escaped from her clutches, she called again and this time I couldn't refuse her. "Sabella, how about you coming with me to the house of prayer tomorrow". Goodness! Did I disclose to you dearest Sara was married and wouldn't let me breathe? Always talking about the pecks of having an enviable social life, rigorous networking and... Of course, changing my single status. Her church would schedule fun gatherings for single adults and couples last Saturday of every month. It was always filled to the brim with invitees from different houses of worship and special guests as well. You see...Sara was a friend turned sister and I knew she had my interest at heart. "Gee... Maybe next month, Sara" I mumbled. "Why not tomorrow?" She countered. I paused for a while, rummaging through the archives in my brain to pick the best befitting excuse I could find and bingo! it clicked. "I've got cramps, Sarah" l lied.😁 She went silent for a second or two and then blurted out" I will pick you up tomorrow at 5, better look good" then she hung up before I could say anything else.
I had not taken more than three steps out of the restroom and then he appeared. 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲 I thought to myself "Truly Adonis has sprung to life". Was he coming to meet me? So many thoughts were playing in my head. Who is this man that has made me stop in my track?🧐 6ft 4, light-skinned complexion, well-toned body and clean-shaven face. He appeared as though a picture cut out from a cover of a GQ magazine. He was wearing a blue coloured shirt that did a poor job in concealing his well-chiselled body. From the hair on his head to his feet. He was perfection. You don't need a soothsayer to tell you he is a metrosexual. I have met and seen many men but this one in front of me is "A man" I thought. Sadly he walked past me while I stood there gawking at him. I summoned all the willpower in me not to turn my head and look at him, I resisted that urge but I couldn't. He talked about abstinence, chastity and celibacy going beyond our physical bodies while backing it up with biblical verses. How our Mouths (words we utter) Eyes( movies we watch, things we focus on) Ears(music we listen to) should be pure. He talked for close to an hour. He had so much confidence and he was so eloquent. When he was done he enquired if we had any questions. Without wasting time a lady raised up her hand and asked if he practised what he preached. 😂😂😂😂 We all laughed. I didn't blame her though. I have met a plethora of church boys who were more religious than godly. Hypocrisy doesn't begin to define them. He stepped forward, arms akimbo and said: " My name is... I am...years old and I am a virgin". The hall scattered. 🙆♀️

God is faithful and cares about his children. Although we say things that are not acceptable and receive God’s forgiveness, our actions produce consequences we will have to face. We have to be careful not to allow words to come out of our mouths that discredit, disrespect and demean individuals God put in authority over us. One might not enjoy the authority’s rule or method, but if God put the individual in position one is commanded to submit unto them. It is vital to ask God for wisdom regarding the authorities you have been placed under, seek God’s direction regarding God-honoring authorities in prayer, Bible study and consulting with a God-honoring teacher or pastor.
ReplyDeleteIn the case of Miriam and Aaron, they didn’t watch their mouths when they murmured against their brother Moses, God’s chosen leader for the Israelites because of his wife. (We have to watch our mouth as it relates to siblings, family and in-laws too!) When they spoke against their brother, the LORD heard it and called Moses, Aaron and Miriam to the Tabernacle. The LORD came down personally in a pillar of cloud and stood at the doorway of the tabernacle and called forward Aaron and Miriam. God corrected and disciplined them for their words against Moses’ leadership appointed by God, his relationship with God and his anointing from God.
God’s anger was kindled against Aaron and Miriam because their actions and words represented the nature of their heart towards Moses. As a result Miriam was leprous and confined outside of the camp for seven days. Additionally, Aaron pleaded with Moses for forgiveness and the Israelites could not move forward until Miriam was declared ceremonially clean.
Miriam and Aaron, like so many of us, did not watch their mouths and experienced the consequences associated with it. Our words not only affect our circumstances, they affect those around us. It is of extreme importance to genuinely speak words that edify, encourage and respect others. We must keep our hearts aligned with what is acceptable in God’s sight and guard our mouths continuously.
This is also encouragement to you as you continue walking according to God’s will, word and way that when people speak against you, God will deal with them because he is our vindicator.
Check your heart and watch your mouth!

When we pray,there are angels (called Seraphim) their duty is to 'collate' our prayers to God. They 'screen' our prayers and only take to God the prayers that correlates and are in accordance with his word.
This is why James 4;3 says we pray and do not receive because we pray amiss. God Assigned These angels for the purpose of presenting our rightful prayers before him,he then decides whether to give the answer now,later or much later Rev 5:8

Notice that when Isaiah prayed acknowledging that he is a man of unclean lips,a seraphim took a burning coal from the alter and touched his lips. The coal represents answers to prayers. So when we pray the right prayers,our prayers are taken and must burn before God signifying acceptance before we can receive the answer Rev 8:3-5

My elder sister lost her baby early this morning. The baby was just two weeks on Sunday. She really went through a lot with the pregnancy and still battling high BP
The baby was not sick just that he was sucking too much and wasn't sleeping

What am I not doing right? I can’t even secure a job that last for months. Everywhere I go it’s either I’m treated poorly or sth appens. Since I finished school I ve only worked for about 6 months. No relationship, no purpose. I’m just tired. I am 27 and the only thing that keeps me going is that maybe one day everything will be better but my joy is always cut shut. Before the end of last year I got a deal worth over 1m but today nothing, no job or relationship. I ve prayed. When it feels sth is going right, I will either just ruin it or sth happens
