My man is 40 years old next month moved back into his mom's home when his rent expired. His mom is a pensioner. He eats her food and contributes nada. He says we should wait to get money saved up for our children before we marry. He is saving up to buy the latest PlayStation. He plays games all day all night except when he has to work on his laptop. Thanks to Covid, his firm is now remote. He earns about 220k but is comfortable in Mama's house. Worst of all ifhe is not playing games, he is watching cartoons!!!!! Animated movies. In this Lagos where one can hustle, baba is content with only salary and his mom's food.

DeleteSo I have been sick since beginning of May, all my life it has always been either malaria or typhoid. So as usual I started treating malaria but after taking the required dosage nothing happened then I went for test and it showed very high typhoid and malaria, still treated, visiting different pharmacies . I finally decided to go to hospital first week of June, did another test and the typhoid was still high, I was placed on IV injections for five days. After that I was still feeling sick.
ReplyDeleteAll these while, was thinking maybe it’s covid 19 but I wasn’t exhibiting any of the major symptoms. I was always feverish, my body will be hot and I will not just get myself. My husband kept telling me to go back to the hospital but I was proving stubborn, l went back to another pharmacy and they gave me typhoid drugs and immune system drugs costing me almost 20k. Minus this 20k, I have spent already roughly 30k plus since this started yet the drugs were ineffective. Some days ago I saw where someone complained of constant fever and one anon replied and said check your bp, hmmmmm! I read it then and thought could it be my bp too.
Yesterday morning I woke up and started vomiting and became very weak, I managed to go to hospital and their standard procedure before you see doctor, they will check your bp. When the nurse checked my bp in fact she had to call the matron to recheck me and she screamed and said your bp is 170/130. That that’s too high, that at my young age I shouldn’t have such. I was placed on bp drug by the doctor. He had to even give me one drug in his office there to place under my tongue.
Since yesterday I have been forced to re-evaluate my life style and start making adjustments. I want to live a long and healthy life. My two parents have bp since l can remember and have been managing it. I spoke with them and they advised me on what to do. I’m going to be taking it seriously!

DeleteTyphoid can be very stubborn sha. When I had it in 2017, I treated it for almost 4months. My elder sister has been treating it for almost 2month now, fortunately, she's better now.

Paul writes: 'You have become dull of hearing...by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles...you have come to need milk and not solid food. The key word in this passage is time. The people to whom these words were written had a learning disability: 'You have become dull of hearing,' meaning you are slow to learn. By the time you ought to be entering university, you've got to go back to primary school and learn your alphabet all over again. By the time you should be communicating the truth as teachers, you need to have someone communicate the truth to you. Note the phrase 'solid food is for the mature'. Who are the mature? You're mature if you've trained yourself through constant use of Scripture. The mark of spiritual maturity isn't how much you learn, it's how much you put into practice.
In the spiritual realm the opposite of ignorance isn't knowledge, but obedience. Obeying the Scriptures is the key to spiritual maturity. In the long term, you retain about 10 per cent of what you hear, 50 per cent of what you see, and 90 per cent of what you do. So: 'Don't just listen to God's word...do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves...if you do what it says...God will bless you for doing it' (James 1:22-25 NLT).

ReplyDeleteThe rate of sickness and death now is quiet alarming, God plz save us.The worst part is that people are so carefree about this corona issue,no more preventive measures I don't just understand.Even when you try ur best to Protect yourself you might just be unfortunate to meet one u serious fellow who thinks corona isn't real and you maybe risking ur life due to another's carelessness'ignorance.since last week my aunty has been seriously sick and exhibiting some symptoms of corona even though they are quiet related to malaria&typhoid symptoms,yet she has refused to go to hospital.Now if this is corona, she might just be endangering other people's lives cos she feels she is the boss.I'm just very sad here and praying for God's healing grace upon her.Pls say a word of prayer for us.
