Yesterday I was angry with you Stella and wanted to insult you but then I remembered that as a Christian I'm not even supposed to say fool to a brother/sister.     You're asking for trouble when you refuse to take God seriously. The angel who announced Samson's birth said he was to 'be a Nazirite', indicating that he was to be dedicated to doing God's will. But Samson was careless about his spiritual life. He prayed only when he was in trouble. He was impulsive; he did whatever he felt like doing.

    The truth is, we'd save ourselves so many problems and spare ourselves so much pain if we'd just stop and ask God for direction. Samson turned to God only when he got into a jam. It's what we call 'foxhole Christianity'. We pray, 'Lord, if you get me out of this dilemma, I promise I'll live for you from now on.' But here's the question: is God just an afterthought, a convenience to you? When things get tough and you're in a tight spot you turn to him in desperation, but when everything's alright you ignore him? Only when Samson was captured by the Philistines, his eyes gouged out, and he was grinding grain at a mill like an ox, do we read that he turned to God and prayed. What kind of history might Samson have had if he'd prayed right from the beginning? Why did he wait until everything fell apart before turning to God?

    It doesn't have to be that way in your life! The psalmist said, 'Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labour; blessings and prosperity will be yours' (Psalm 128:1-2 NIV).

I do look at my past achievement, i do some self talk to hype myself that i can do even better. But if you dwell too long on your past achievement you wont be propelled to move forward.     Before the corona, I usually branch my church to drop my tithe in the tithe/welfare box on my way back from work. Before dropping my tithe, I will kneel on the alter, spend time to pray. But since I read about uwa, there is this fear in me... I went to pay my tithe, the security man open the church for me, I couldn't pray long on the alter like before, I was so scared, I just knelt down for 5seconds and quickly drop my tithe and then rush out. I don't like this fear.

We've been to the Doctor's severally & she's been given meds particularly analgesic (pain reliever) but they don't work. If anyone can recommend something to treat this illness, I'd appreciate it.       Good morning dear. So sorry about this. Include Cod liver oil capsules to her medication. It really helps and has not side effects with other drugs. Ask for cellgevity a good antioxidant drug that can help well..I wish her God's healings. I hope this helps

    Good morning. What does one do when having sucidal thoughts? It's not a money issue. Everyday my husband bathes me with words no human being can take. I have 2 children and 8months pregnant but have no peace once I hear his horn.Weekends are the most horrible.I can't even eat what others are eating in the house because he will remind me of how useless I am. How my life can never amount to anything.How I am of no value. I have a business I run and I believe I can make it in the right environment but the children's joy is also of great importance to me. If only I could get people to beg him to allow me leave with my children.Noone should be allowed to live like this. I am at my weakest moments because I can hardly help myself right now, walking around like a penguin.I mean I am physically not up and doing coupled with the pandemic. I am also at a stage in my life where I don't know if to go for my masters or focus on building a business.There comes a time in people's lives that everything seems confusing.That is exactly where I am. But God has been faithful in keeping body and soul together.I just want to be happy and smile again.I want to be able to laugh and not hide as I hear his horn. God please sort me out. You know me. Cried all night and still at it. I fear the words I will hear once his up.I just can't explain it. I wish I could run and not look back but then,my children will suffer. Do you run away when faced with life's troubles? I am right in the middle of a storm at my weakest moments and I seek peace.
