ReplyDeleteMercy if you get to read this comment, please you need a finishing English school as soon as possible and this is coming from a place of pure heart and advice, I watched online your Reunion episode which I learned is on now, last night , I was so shocked and embarrassed how you rolled off your chair to the floor while trying to laugh as the discussions were on.. Aahhh.. that is the lowest of lows, you were there seated with others in an evening gown on a reunion show and not a village meeting, even if it is a village meeting, that is the act of a village urchin or rascal, please, forget what your fans may rant, some of them know the truth, they know and agree with my advice, after this coronavirus period, pay for a finishing English language school, pay and enrol. They have fabulous ones here in London but I guess the ones here in the UK may be too expensive to you but I'm sure they have in Dubai. please you need it and very fast. Even the other lady tacha who was so crass and uncouth in the house was exceptional in delivery and carriage last night.

Most can’t even speak English, but are so good at their jobs. We that speak English, are we better than the Chinese, the Germans, Swedish and the likes? If you can’t speak and write your local dialect, that is a big big problem, but not being able to speak English is no big deal. English is only a language just like German, Chinese, Swedish and the likes. Being able to speak English has nothing to do with being smart, intelligent or educated.

I speak and write the best of English and in secondary school we all laughed at people who spoke English with grammatical errors. But as an adult I've changed my values, and woudn't mock anyone who didn't have same opportunities I had. It's not of our own ability but just luck to be born to parents who could afford good education and knew it's importance. I even applaud Mercy's resilience to go for the show and thus, be a financial bridge for her siblings. Of course Mike and Khafi are great but they already have the privilege of UK degrees and accent which they can use anytime. Life is balanced and sometimes creates a path for the poor to climb social ladders. Same story with Tuface Idibia and Kanu Nwankwo. Though people mock their English, their incredible shift from- Born poor, now rich- is a life story.

She’s igbo and has an igbo accent which is enough too! You don’t see a Spanish lady trying to fake another accent or a Dutch lady trying to even learn how to speak English! And why is that? Because she’s is Spanish or Dutch or African or whatever! Some Nigerians are soooo fake and it disgusts me! Let people be!
