    2. Rape cases doesn't always make sense to people who don't understand it.

    3. This has exposed how many people view rape. They just don't understand. They don't get it. They think it is no big deal. They can't relate so they make jokes and talk nonsense. What a shame! Ask your sisters, your female cousins, your daughters, your colleagues, friends, acquaintances...there are very few adult women without any stories at all of sexual assault.

I am so glad a lot of people are finding the courage to finally open up. I hope it encourages others who experienced such trauma to take this step towards healing. I also hope that man/woman-haters with a vendetta do not hijack this opportunity as that would downplay the gravity of the whole situation.

    5. What if some other women come up to mention 2Baba, PSquare, DonJazzy, Shina Peters, BurnaBoy, D'Mighty, film producers, etc. Lobatan!

Buhari should cancel that loan application because he can get money internally. Arrest the rapists, charge them to court, give them bail from N3.5M up, but if it involves politicians, N10M up should be given as bail. BTW some can be sentenced to 10 years imprisonment depending. Wallahi FG can get quick money, Naija police can make cool money too.

Do you know that some RAPISTS are pastors & imams?

      Delete
    6. Yes ooo @ Mao Amu, politicians should not be left out too...

    7. If you are in the midst of alot of Nigerian men you will see alot of them view rape so differently. I work with mostly men so i know what im saying.
Majority dont know how to take No for an answer. And many have molested a girl in one form or the other. They feel rape is when u dont know the victim but u just ambush them by a corner and use violence.
They dont feel its rape when you have interest in the girl, shes in ur domain but she says No. They feel women dont even have a right to say No to them, especially if they are rich.
Nearly every female has either a rape story, near rape or molestation story.
Its sad but this is the reality.

They are guilty of harassing females who find themselves in cells or have to sleep over at the police station for any reason. Only a few may be bold to speak up because they have got skeletons in their cupboards.

    2. The life of a rapist will never go well, I keep laying curses on them.
This was because innocent people/lives are damaged by them.
And to the boys(ABRAM their leader who could not help us,their friends from Ekopma University then also involved,& then to "KEN SADO" who know them all, after my own little investigations) back then in Uniben Ugbowo
1998 rape two girls off campus pretending to be helping them when they ran away from some group of boys after they went reading . The girls lived in the Nurses hostel then. Chai! IT SHALL NEVER BE WELL FOR ALL OF YOU. I know your faces, and that horrible day play in my head all the time until I seek therapy.
That incident break both of us(we were room mates), we never talk about it. We hate men with passion. It when I left Nigeria I started seeking therapy and help. Duet to this, I stop contact with my then roommate because it brought back that horrible night.😭😭😭

I later saw one the rapist in Christ embassy in Benin. He was an usher. I confronted him, and I stop going to church. But do my own prayer at home, and God answers me. People don't know that is one of the reason I do not go to church .

God reward all rapist and as for Dbanj if he knows within his heart he did wrong, it is time to start asking for mercy from God because he is a Father and husband now. Curses are laid on RAPIST by the victims which cannot be ignored.

  14. Stella., if you know many people that are married to rapists but don't even have any idea. The curses on their husband's head trails them in the marriage that start going from one prayer house to the other. Many wives suffering so many tribulations they know nothing about because of their husband's past. Some would even write chronicle wondering why they are still suffering despite having prayed to stupor not knowing the husband has ruined them.

Two guys raped my friend and they are married now and I feel so sorry for their families and the girls that went and shook head into what they had no idea about. That is why it is good to pray before accepting any man's proposal and run if God ask you to run from him even if he appears to tick all the boxes because God sees everything. Human only see the present but God sees the past and the future of that person.

Was it not here a lady sent in a chronicle to stella about how her husband raped her on his birthday and he didn't apologise afterwards after slapping and almost strangling her and I just wondered if she knew she married one. 🥺
Even a very popular blog visitor who appears to be a posh lawyer who blow big big grammar with all her exposure on this blog simply made light the situation and told her to apologise to the man😲. That one blamed her for not wrapping her body like a gift for her husband even though she has already done that four times in the morning.😭😭

Now imagine if that kind of a wife who gets raped and I believe still gets raped as we speak goes to meet this lawyer in real life to help her, what stupid advice she would get from that blog visitor?

Stella make a post on marital consent in marriage and you will be shocked what women are going through? Does rape means something different simply because the husband is the one who pepetrated it?

  42. She shouldn't have kept silent if truly he forced her. What stops her from screaming and shouting when she saw him in her room before he comes to her. Someone could have rescued her. What happened to self defence like kicking him in his groin since he is the only one. There would have being some scratches on her body which would serve as some evidence of struggle.
She should dammned all consequences and reported him to the hotel immediately. #we are tired ooooo

    2. You are foolish. So he would have strangled her abi. You dont know anything please.
I have been raped before by a male friend who i innocently followed home because he said he needed help in his wedding prep and i do wrapping and decoration of items for wedding as side hustle. He had always asked me out but i always rejected his advances and said we shld just be friends.
That night as he stood to lock his door it was as if he changed into a demon, his eyes became red, he tore my clothes and pushed me to the floor,i could see it in his eyes that if i had shouted he would have strangled me,i had to stop fighting to keep myself alive. My family didnt know my whereabout. I had to comply with everything he said. I even agreed to be the bastards girlfriend just so he can take me home,i said Yes to everything.
When i safely got home that is when i had the courage to fight him. At the end the mother came crying and begging my family. Cos of stigma i let it go. But i was taken for councelling by my Pastors wife. I am no longer bitter but you will never see me be alone with any man except when i started dating my husband. And i never even told him this story.

  46. A lot of people have been damaged. This is the first time I'm actually sharing my story. No family member or friends knows about this story I'm about sharing. It all happened in 2013,i had a guy asking me out then. He usually came to visit me at home as i had a friend living with me then. I didn't give in to his requests. It was his birthday and he said he was celebrating somewhere so he asked me to come i refused, he begged and begged i insisted on not going. Eventually he came to my house to ask me on ground i decided to go with my friend as he promised to bring us back home. We hung out and it was time to go home. I noticed he didn't take the route to my house and i wasn't too familiar with the place, i told him this wasn't the agreement we had.we got to the place he was driving to i discovered it was a hotel. His friends drove behind him. I and my friend came down from the car and i insisted i wasn't going into the hotel. I told my friend we should go home on our own as i already had a back up plan should in case something like this happened. I discovered the hotel street lead to my house road, so i and my friend left for home. I never entered the hotel, I just came down from the car and headed straight for home. As we approached the street junction i was checking if we could get a taxi as the area was quiet, this was past 9 at night. Two guys jumped out nowhere, apparently they were hiding,i tried running and i saw one at my front. That was the first time i was seeing a gun with two openings, he shouted at me to lie on the ground which i did and the other guy told my friend the same thing. This was happening in the middle of the road. I was surprised there was no oncoming. We were led to the bush, i didn't know what was running through my mind as that moment. We were asked to lie on the ground, remove our clothes and raped at gun point. One of the useless armed robbers drew the attention of his accomplice to me saying that this girl nyash make sense, i was just praying for that one not to come and rape me as well.the other robber raped my friend. After the whole ordeal, we were asked to dress up, robbed of our wristwatches, phones and money. We were led out at gun point and asked to run for our dear life. I remember praying to God to have mercy on us, i thought of my parents and siblings the whole time. As we were running i was praying they shouldn't shoot at us. We ran into a church that was holding a Virgil and as soon as we ran in, the pastor pointed at me and said you escaped death this night, grace was on your side. I burst into tears and said we were just robbed but never mentioned the rape incidence. We slept in the church till morning and found our way home. I never told anyone about the rape incidence. I learnt to detach my emotions when remembering it, i isolated all feelings and when i hear of rape I don't feel anything but pain for the victim. I still feel guilty for my friend cos she followed me but life happens. So when people share their rape stories i don't judge cos i have a first hand experience. I pray God heals us all
