Genevieve would have been the most popular in 2010,but right now it is Jenifa a.k.a Funke.And even Mercy Johnson is more popular than Geniveve now.My little cousins ages 2-13 don't now Genieve but can identify Funke on screen.Same with Mercy both old and young know her,then maybe Regina Daniels,her marriage controversy really put her on everybody's lips

DeleteThe truth is that Genevieve is not that popular amongst the new generation kids. Funke cos of her many sitcoms. Tonto Instagram warrior, yul social media updates. But genny is usually quite and reserved so how them won no her?

ReplyDeleteSome people always attach sentiments to ‘certainties or realities “ .There is no doubt that Genevieve has paid her dues as an actor & is loved by many, but how many people visit her page on a daily ,except when she posts ,& if u follow her, u get an alert (which she doesn’t do often). I, personally follow Funke, Tonto, Rita, Toke, Tiwa, Yemi & a few others. I also religiously visit their pages several times a day , just like I do SDK & Bella . Whether I receive any posting alert from their pages or not, I must refresh intermittently on a daily, it’s an addiction. People are mostly bored, so they tend to move around looking for news to relieve boredom , whether controversial or otherwise, rather than checking on in active pages. So , d recipients of d above awards are in order. My opinion though.

You visit the pages of the celebrities you listed above to refresh even when they didn't post anything, Who told you that I don't do same with Genevieve nnaji?? It doesn't matter how you choose to bend the the truth, The FACT will remain that Genevieve is the most popular actor in Nigeria. Even the generations of some of our parents, uncles and aunties know who she is as some don't bother with calling her Genevieve, they'd just go "oh!! Sharon the stone?? That lady is ageless". But if you want to keep arguing, just type who is the most popular actor in Nigeria👍👍.
