Nigerian Man Cursed Out For Returning Money He Found Inside Noodles Box

A Nigerian man, Mr Chidiebere Ogbonna, reportedly returned #1.8 million he found in a carton of indomie noodles he bought. The carton was only partially filled with noodles coupled with bundles of #1000 notes.

According to him, he got home, opened the carton and when he saw what was inside, he immediately returned it back. When he was asked his reasons for returning the cash, he said the money was not his, so there was no reason for him to keep it.

The vendor who could not hold back his joy, thanked him and told the man to come and collect a carton of indomie whenever he needs it till December.

The funniest part of this story are reactions on facebook to his returning the money.

And how do you think that money got into the indomie carton if not that some one was trying to play a fast one with the company?

    6. Tbabe, why not reverse the situation and tell me how you'd feel. If someone stole 1.8M naira from you in this economic situation, how would you feel? The blessings of God maketh rich without adding sorrow. God does not need to wreck anyone before giving you your breakthrough.

    7. This man indeed modeled his life in line with the Scripture. ROM 15.4. This is what Christ expects us to do not contrary because ill-gotten wealth does not last long, so he did the right thing.

We should emulate him, may God bless those doing the right thing. Amen.

    8. @Tbabe there is no justification for stealing . If you take what's not yours it is stealing.
As a beliver isn't it in God's commandment that we should not steal?
As a person hoping for a better Nigeria isnt this the kind og people we have to have in this country ?
And as a person isn't integrity more valuable than riches?
The bible says the blessings of God makes rich and adds no sorrow, do you know what evil that money could have brought him?
@Sunshine and Anon my sentiments as well!!
Someone did the right thing as is being chastised , instead of being applauded.

@Push Up yet they wonder why Nigeria is the way it is today,
We cannot hold our leaders accountable with this appalling mindset 😤 I mean this is all shades of wrong .

It doesn't mean the carton of noodles came from the factory that way. Either way you don't keep what's not yours. That's stealing.

    7. So are you against stealing or fellow armed robbers not splitting the loot with you? What right have you to condemn the thieves if you are nothing but a thief without opportunity? Why won't you have thieves in power when it is thieves who vote for them, rationalize their theft and support them?

Days ago, it was a woman who gave up her marriage, integrity and peace for her husband to lie and deceive another woman into marriage. That not being enough, she has wickedly roped her cousin into an illegal nine-months course that could end up ruining that person's legal stay. I was expecting to hear the Sanctimonious Sally chime and a lot of Bible verses to boot. Instead, they were seeking for God's wisdom on how to cheat the system and wishing her well on her adulterous quest. Of course, the man has secured himself and may one day come back for her children but the woman has everything to lose and many have thrown away their peace and lost everything through this route...

If you don't believe in God as your source, please don't bother worshipping him. Have enough honesty to declare for your real team and abide by it's principles. And please, don't waste anymore time condemning the present government or the armed robbers who killed the wife of the Maersk boss. After all, there is hunger right 🙄🤦🥴

I counted the the bunles,it was 20, that's means 100thouasand in one bundle making it 2million. I also saw small purse with phone with flat battery inside the box.I was confused how someone would forget such huge amount of money. For 30mins I was confused whether to return the money or not. I charged the phone and later call the last dailed number in the phone to contact the owner. The woman was so happy that she asked me to mention what she will do to reward me. I just told her that l need a job. Within one month,l got a federal job that pays... MrsB, you are a Godsent. When I thought all is over, God use to shame my ex that tame me lazy.
