Musician Naira Marley And The Flight To Abuja ....

Controversial Musician Naira Marley was recently in Abuja to perform at a concert and this action is causing a lot of problems for some and is somewhat viral......Nigerian Airports are still closed and the social distancing directive is still in place,so why would Mr Marley not give a damn?

Nigeria is still battling with COVID19 and begging people to be cautious!

Should Naira Marley be blamed or those that allowed this to happen?
What is your opinion on this?

  4. Everyone should be blamed o. From government that didn't do due deligence before granting waiver to the airline company to the pilot that jeopardized his career to embark on the journey. We should not also forget the mall that invited him in the first and and finally the Naira Marley himself. He should have known better especially after that incident with Funke Akindele. They should all be blamed.

  5. If not that some Nigerians are beginning to embrace TRASH, MEDIOCRITY and NOISE as a norm norm, why in heavens name will the man behind the picture above be termed a musician?? How is he a musician?? Of course I know that music is a thing of choice and preference but how a supposedly sane human being feels comfortable with the noise pollution he causes with those awful sounds baffles me to be very honest. That being said, both him and everyone involved in allowing it happen should be blamed. I wonder how noisy, roudy, crazz and cringe worthy the show will be, nsogbu uwa.

    4. As in eeh. The guy reeks of everything irresponsible. If only Nigeria will take it seriously and punish due offenders, people who like this won't be worshipped.

    7. And this irresponsible person is a role model to many, little wonder we have a wasted generation of youth who do not know their left from right. Why is the government punishing everyone around the culprit and we hear no punitive measures against him? he's been getting away with his unruly behavior so why wouldn't he have the guts to put a whole country at risk. Imagine if there were positive cases at that concert, wetin i dey talk sef, there will definitely be, with the number of cases in Abuja

  7. He should be jailed to teach others some lessons. Government should not spare him this time around.

  8. He is highly irresponsible and bad news.

Why is he always involved in one trouble or the other and it is never something positive?

Is he the only artist in Nigeria and what does he even sing?

Can he try this nonsense in Peckham or wherever he was said to have grown up?

Let them investigate those greedy airport officials who definitely received bribe, sanction the airline and sanction the hall he used for his useless show.

As for Naira Marley, 6 months in prison with active community service will be fine since he has refused to be law abiding and have sense.

    1. They didn't just sanction the hall o, Jabi lake mall housing silverbird cinema, shoprite and co, was shut down.

  9. He's as stupid as he looks. If everyone who attended Funke Akindele's husband's party was given jail time; this nonsense would probably not have happened. They gave all of them( the host and attendees) a slap on the wrist, naira Marley included; that's why he went ahead to do this rubbish.

  10. The organisers should be blamed for organizing a concert amidst the pandemic, Marley for agreeing to perform and FCT task force for not stoping them.

  14. Stella I learnt that the flight was to fly a judge to Abuja..Somehow someone slipped Marley's name in for the flight..This guy should stop allowing people to use him for clout or stop thinking he is the best Tupac..He is just an Obalende Snoppy Dogg for all I care..

  15. This Naira Marley guy is stubborn and deserves life imprisonment. He has just come out of a court case recently (not the funmi akindele case) and now this. I think it's because he's from a rich family that's why he has the guts to ignore the current laws of the land and travelled by air for that matter!
The airline deserves the punishment that came to them. Even the jabi mall is at fault. How could they have fix a show talkless of allowing it in this critical time when the govt has not allowed public gathering? Na wa o

  16. He should be blamed. The airline and those that attended should be blamed as well. But 95% of that blame goes to NM. That boy is stubborn, why must he always go the opposite way. He should have cancelled the show.

    ReplyDelete
  17. He capitalized on his name being Babatunde Fashola to deceive the airline. I read the apology letter from the airline this morning, though this doesn't excuse them from the blame

  18. Very controversial, always in the new for doing something wrong

  19. This guy here actually thinks he can do whatever and get away with it. But then again,is this not Nigeria? After much talk and little action, the matter will die down naturally.

The blame should come from the government of the day. My opinion.

  24. Everyone involved should be punished for disobeying govt directives.

  27. Everyone behind this is suppose to be sanctioned. From the controller tower that cleared the flight to the person that host the show, I saw on news yesterday that the govt are saying that the captain that flew the flight will face the law, like how, the captain was carrying out his duty to be paid his salary as at when due.Nigeria son tire person I swear.
