    With the word of God in my mouth, I cast down all strongholds of reasonings, arguments and theories of men. Even now, I come against the spirit of the world that initiates evil or negative imaginations in the hearts of men, to cause them to go against the Gospel, and I proclaim victory over it in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

      Early morning family devotion.

      What are we teaching children waking up at 11am and having their bath at 4pm in the evening because there's no school?

      The routine or tradition of family devotion can benefit a family. Whether Muslim or Christian or other religions.

      Early morning devotion teaches children self discipline.

      The sleep around 5am when people have devotion is usually the sweetest, so when children form the habit of waking up that early for a meeting or fellowship. They learn to deny pleasure for things that must be done quite early.

      And in homes where you begin the day's chores and don't go back to bed after devotion discipline is even stronger.

      Early morning devotion can also help develop children's literacy, in those days when they say open to the books of Colossians, I won't know where it is. I was never good at cramming order.

      But when the older children found the passage and read it, I would pick one of two words, so that I started reading fluently before primary school.

      Morning devotion also gives one a sense of family and responsibility.

      Something as simple as 'give us a song or share the grace' teaches a child the essence of contribution and participation in groups.

      The only thing I find awkward about morning devotion is that most of the messages are exaggerated.

      Sometimes the father who leads the devotion - daddy also assumes the role of almighty.

      Yet there's so much children can learn from waking up early to do work. And the earlier they start learning the better for them.

      I like morning devotion with prayers only, no songs no preaching.

      After prayer children begin the day's chores.

Snap out of the overthinking. Remember who you are, why you started, and where you’re headed. Get comfortable being uncomfortable. Get confident being uncertain. Don't give up just because something is hard. Pushing through challenges is what makes you grow🙏🏾

    'That the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.' 2 Timothy 3:17 NAS

    Daily Bible study equips you for your God-given assignment in life. Paul writes: 'All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching...reproof...correction...for training in righteousness; so that the man [and woman] of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work' (2 Timothy 3:16-17 NAS).

    According to Paul, all Scripture is profitable - but profitable for what? (1) For doctrine and teaching. It will structure your thinking, and that's crucial, because if you're not thinking correctly, you're not living correctly. What you believe ultimately determines how you behave. (2) For reproof. It will tell you where you're out of bounds. Like an umpire who cries, 'Out!' or 'Safe!' the Bible lets you know what's sinful, and what God wants for your life. (3) For correction. Do you have a cupboard in the house where you store all the rubbish you can't find room for anywhere else? You cram it all in, then one day you forget, open the door, and - whoosh! - it all comes out? You say, 'Good night! I'd better clean this thing up!' The Bible is like that; it opens the cupboard doors in your life and provides a purifying dynamic. (4) For training in righteousness. Having corrected us on the negatives, Paul gives us positive guidelines to follow as we go through life. For what reason? 'That the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.'

    Have you ever wished your life was more effective for Jesus Christ? And if so, what have you done to prepare yourself? Bible study is a primary means of becoming an effective servant of Jesus Christ. Nothing can take its place!

    Good morning...
    Stella please post. Silence is really golden except where a child is involved.
    That's how our. toddler really held hubby and I for 'blokos' in the night.
    So, this beautiful Saturday night,after the hustle and bustle of the weekend,everyone was tired. I managed to cook edikaikong with hubby helping out and all.
    By the time we were done,we were so tired and hungry that I had to encourage him to wait,lets bathe first before eating because with the type of tiredness worrying us eh ' we fit eat just lie down there sleep off' so with my last strength,I boiled water for bathing. Hmmm

    Time to bathe,hubby just finished bathing our small oga amd was rubbing him off so he would go watch cartoom while we took our own bath. By this time, I was already half way through with soap suds everywhere including my eyes.Naso I hear exclamation "haa!". I started groping my way to know what's happening.
    "Oga wetin happen, this one you are shouting?" He said small oga eyaf turned our bucket of hot water. You know Lagos has been cold for something time now.I was still looking for water to wash my face,eventually had to use cold tap water.
    " how did this happened?" He said, he left him for few seconds, so he would hang his towel, naso baba strike. Between hunger, tiredness,going to boil another water and bathing cold shower. Hubby and I decided to adopt the gods must be crazy style. Thank God for the small hot water remaining that was how,we started managing water. You dip just to take small to remove suds from your body and then pour the rest, when your sure you are no longer soapy.
    When, hubby was telling our toddler what he did wrong,he just innocently replied" oh, shoshi (sorry) and off he went to watch pj masks.
    It wasn't funny at the time it happened but at the end, we found a way to laugh over it. Really children can be handful even innocently.
    That was my weekend experience.

    Please guys STOP talking done on church . read your Bible well and you guys will see that God (only is in charge of the judgement of the church and). Pastors, the way you people talk and see this people/things is so bad .
    We are in the time and jet age were we all knew the truth. If a pastor is telling you lies you will know .please let join hands together and see that the gate off hell did prevail in the church.
    And please Stella is just human being,. Not God. Sometimes she may see /talk as a moral being she's that is fine not you blog visitors joining her to say the Sam is bad that she comment first in a post don't mean you people will use her word to judge the people that comes to to seek for advice.. That people have scam(s) you don't mean everyone is a scam (s) please.
