    Why is it that, good people doesn't last? When I saw Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo Picture before reading the caption yesterday, I thought it was her birthday and I was like I know July is always her birthday. I have been following this Angel since 2018, her personal page, foundation and event page.

    She's one woman I admire so much and a role model to so many people. I have never felt so heartbroken about someone have never met like I did yesterday. I don't even know what to type again.

    Thanks Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo for touching lives.
    I will personally miss you😭😭😭
    Rest in Peace ma💔

      I wept bitterly yesterday when I saw the news on Twitter. I'm crying up to this morning. So painful that a good woman with the heart of gold 🥇 left just like a candle in the wind.
      I pray that God will strengthen her husband, kids and loved ones. She was a rare gem.

      Using her pain to comfort others and a pathefinder to their problem is an amazing experience.

      I can't imagine how much the people she directly touched their lives and crying and mourning her demise.

    1. In those days [there was] no king in Israel. And in those days the tribe of the Danites was seeking an inheritance for itself to dwell in; for until that day [their] inheritance among the tribes of Israel had not fallen to them.
    2. So the children of Dan sent five men of their family from their territory, men of valor from Zorah and Eshtaol, to spy out the land and search it. They said to them, "Go, search the land." So they went to the mountains of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, and lodged there.
    3. While they [were] at the house of Micah, they recognized the voice of the young Levite. They turned aside and said to him, "Who brought you here? What are you doing in this [place?] What do you have here?"
    4. He said to them, "Thus and so Micah did for me. He has hired me, and I have become his priest."
    5. So they said to him, "Please inquire of God, that we may know whether the journey on which we go will be prosperous."
    6. And the priest said to them, "Go in peace. The presence of the LORD [be] with you on your way."
    7. So the five men departed and went to Laish. They saw the people who [were] there, how they dwelt safely, in the manner of the Sidonians, quiet and secure. [There were] no rulers in the land who might put [them] to shame for anything. They [were] far from the Sidonians, and they had no ties with anyone.
    8. Then [the spies] came back to their brethren at Zorah and Eshtaol, and their brethren said to them, "What [is] your [report?"]
    9. So they said, "Arise, let us go up against them. For we have seen the land, and indeed it [is] very good. [Would] you [do] nothing? Do not hesitate to go, [and] enter to possess the land.
    10. "When you go, you will come to a secure people and a large land. For God has given it into your hands, a place where [there is] no lack of anything that [is] on the earth."

    ✝🔰STUDY

    The tribe of Dan descended from Jacob's fifth son, born of Rachel's handmaid, Bilhah (Gen 30:1-6). Though not a large tribe, it was given choice territory when the tribal boundaries were assigned (Josh. 19:40-48). The Danites, however, weren't able to defeat and dispossess the enemy, thus they decided to go north and relocate. Most of the other tribes were able to conquer the enemy, dispossess them and claim their land, but the Danites coveted somebody else's land instead and took it in a violent manner - yet they seemed religious by consulting a hired priest. The elders of Israel should have put a stop to the men of Dan as they abandoned God's assigned place and headed north to kill innocent people and steal their land.

    Covetousness is strong and once people get an appetite for it, it will be difficult for them to control.You are therefore warned to desist from every form of covetousness. It ruins one’s life and creates confusion. Let us, by God’s word and Spirit, guard our hearts and desires. Godliness with contentment is great gain.

    Growing up, my elder sister was a magazine cover collector. Her favourites were always ThisdayStyle. She would cut out the the cover and any other place that had pictures of beautiful people, fashion style/accesories and attach them to the wall in the room. My Dad complained tho as he said it would ruin the wall and leave marks when it eventually came off. Well as long as she kept it to our room alone, he tolerated it.

    Then one year like that she brought this copy of Thisdaystyle, and on the cover was the most beautiful face. It was shot by TY Bello. I remember just staring and looking. It wasn't just because she was beautiful though, there was something about it. So graceful, charming. Underneath they wrote 'Ibikule Ighodalo, not just a preachers wife!'. I started turning the pages to get to the interview section. As I read on, I thought what a phenomenal woman. My sister eventually cut out the cover and it took it's place on the wall.

    Yesterday, when I saw news of her death online, it came as such a shock! I came here to confirm hoping it was a lie but alass. I spent time yesterday with tears in my eyes with my sister on the phone, and we were reminiscing about the memory of her cover on our wall, her philanthropy, and faith. One thing I took out of our conversation was how important it was to live a good life. She touched so much lives.

    My Dad was right though. Years of repainting never erased the marks left by the covers my sister hung on the wall of our room. She has left a mark on our wall, and now our hearts.

    Rest in Peace Mrs. Ibikun Ighodalo, may God comfort the family and loved ones you left behind 😢😢😢
