    3. What you said is so real. I was deeply disturbed and flabbergasted when a doctor was saying have I seen anyone to die from the virus or do i know of anyone that contracted the virus. I mean if a medical doctor is sowing seeds of doubt, only God can save the gullible. Covid-19 is real.

  12. I pity us Nigerians. It seems the money we spend on education is a mere waste, because we hardly use our thinking & reasoning faculties. Some people still believe covid is not real.

My hubby had covid 2 months ago, I had to take care of him as his case was not deemed as critical, therefore he was not admitted in the hospital. We live in Canada. He was severely ill, with excruciating pains all over the body, loss of taste & smell etc. He had all the symptoms apart from coughing and difficulty in breathing. All he did was sleep a lot because he was terribly weak and could barely stand up, he took loads of water and vit C as advised by the doctors. He was back on his feet after 9 days However, I did not manifest any symptom at all. I was asymptomatic. During this period, we still slept on the same bed.

I read the post where people stated affirmatively that they had varying degrees of symptoms, ranging from sore throat, loss of sense of smell & taste, body aches, headache etc. Still, they claimed that they used typhoid & malaria and they became well.

In most patients, covid will take its due course ranging from 3 -14 days and it will go irrespective of any drug used. Your malaria/typhoid drug did not treat covid, it only ran its due course.

Please let us be more cautious as this pandemic is real. It has come to stay, and we need to learn how to safeguard ourselves pending when a vaccine is discovered.

    1. I am glad your hubby, beat Covid. It is real. I had eight coworkers, who had it. I was lucky. Most people only had loss of taste and smell. Truth is, it does not affect everyone the same way. I mean just look at the case of the Broadway actor. It’s being almost three months and he’s still dealing with complications that occurred while battling Covid. He is 31, healthy and had no underlying health issues.

    2. It’s *been* not being almost three months

    3. @18:05, you are right that it affects people differently. I also think the amount of the virus one was exposed to matters. And if you got it from someone who was sick vs someone who was asymptomatic. These and more could affect the severity of the symptoms.

    4. It hasn't come to stay but to pass in the same manner that it came. Let's not glorify this virus beyond what it is- a virus
