I got a call this afternoon from a childhood friend, the last time we saw was about 10 years ago,he got my number from my very first ex today when they saw.
ReplyDeleteImmediately he told me this is chibuike I recognized his voice and I have only known just one chibuike.
I was so happy and we talked about a whole lot of things from childhood memories.
There is one thing fascinating about chibuike is his prudent way of spending and how to save one naira, five naira while we were growing up which I was able to emulate from him.
When we were done with secondary school,every one of us always run to him to lend us some money because we know he saves a lot but chibuike will blatantly refuse in lending us and we always see him as a bad and stingy friend.
So one day I got a job after secondary school with uac, and I needed to get a Samsung phone,I approached chibuike and I told him guy abeg reason me 6k,chibuike went inside and gave me 6k cash,I was shocked and I told him I never expect you would and he said guy the reason I don't lend you guys money is because you guys don't have any means to return it because you have no job or a source of income where you can get my money back,you guys think I am stingy and a bad friend,but I don't want it to affect our friendship when you won't be able to return the money,now you have a job and I am certain you will definitely return it when you get paid,immediately I got my salary that month I returned the money.
We were just 16-17 years of age then and for him to think that way was something I was going to emulate,which I did.

ReplyDeleteI just found out that my boyfriend of 6 years has a child out there. That’s not even the worst part, I lost my virginity to him earlier on this year. We had sex once when we were drunk and we didn’t use protection and since then I’ve refused having sex with him because I really want to keep myself till marriage but the
mistake has been made and it’s not too long to rectify it. I used pills because I was scared of pregnancy and I used three at once. I was really naive and I didn’t want to tell anyone (my friends would definitely eat it out).
That night I found myself pregnant in my dream and even laboured (I gave birth to twins) and next thing I saw I was surrounded by blood.
I prayed about it and rebuked it. Couple of weeks later, my pastor that I haven’t seen in or spoken to in three years (we moved so I attend the church again) called and asked to see me. On getting there, he warned me about abortion. He said I should never in my life abort kids or even use pills because he saw that I had complications and he gave me psalms and prayer points to read. (I didn’t tell anyone, not even my boyfriend)
Two months after my visit with my pastor, I went for a church program and while there, the pastor asked that I pray for my future and having kids and that I should not use one enjoyment to ruin my life.
I’ve been paranoid since then and to hear that He has a child outside is devastating. He doesn’t know that I know tho.

Sent money for her drugs and upkeep. But this is someone that bore and dumped me with village people and lived single life in lagos, Completely refused to asdociate with me. Now, at old age, after I went through hell to go to school to become what I am today, started looking for me for help. I am bitter. But I do my bit.
