I want to thank you once again, my ponmo business has been a success in fact I sold a bag of 1200 Pcs within 3 weeks, two of my neighborhood friends that sell foodstuffs allowed me to be keeping it in their shades, and I in turn appreciate them with a pack o, to motivate them,as nothing goes for nothing.

Friends are more important to our psychological welfare than we can imagine. They bring happiness into our life than virtually anyone else. Your choice of friends determines what you attract to your life. Good and healthy friendship could improve your mood, support you through difficult times and boost yourself worth.

Having a thousand friends online is good but our most important and powerful connections happen with our very close and real friends. A friend is someone you trust and someone with whom you feel comfortable sharing things about yourself and they don’t judge you. The litmus test in knowing a good relationship is understanding how the friendship makes you feel, where it makes you feel less or unwanted in any way, that is an unhealthy friendship. Friends should not just choose you. 


There must be certain persons that have proven to be trustworthy enough to be your friend; every one that comes around you cannot be your friend. Some are only close so as to use your secrets to broadcast it, mock and hurt you. Some are only close to you for the benefits they get from you.

When I was about getting married, my bestie could be the chief bridesmaid as she was heavily pregnant. In my search for someone I thought of a colleague’s friend with a striking resemblance with me. Due to the preparations we became very close. She was my chief at the wedding and everything went well then two weeks after the wedding drama started. I resumed work and went straight to my usual office desk only to find another person.



 I went to my boss’s office to inquire what was going on. He looked at me with displeasure and asked me why I could not appreciate him for the promotion. I was lost as to what he was talking about. He told me on my wedding day he wrapped my promotion letter and 100k in an envelope and it was my chief bridesmaid that collected it. I stood speechless. 


All I was thought about was if she wanted to take the money at least drop the letter. I called her to ask if she saw anything from my company she denied. Where sand con pour for her garri was when I saw the wedding video and it captured my boss giving her the brown envelope and she putting it in a different bag.

When we go around trusting just anyone with our secrets we would end up telling the devil himself.

FATHER'S DAY: FOREVER IN MY HEART.




It was Father's day celebration last week. While the media was trending with various photos of people celebrating their fathers, for me it was a sober moment of solitude as I walked down the memory lane. It was such a painful one as the man I had always known and celebrated on that special day was no more.


He had gone three years ago to the world beyond but left behind an indelible footprints in the sands of time that can't be erased not even with the passage of time. He created a huge vacuum in the family that life has never been the same ever afterward.


The indispensability of some great people in life can't be overemphasized, as Its colossal damages are sometimes so monumental in nature.

Whoever did say 'no one is indispensable' may not be right afterall and it will be so kind enough to always specify the context with which they make such assertion. Over time I've come to realize that there are vacuum in life that can never be filled. No matter how hard we try to overrule it , truth is that, some losses in life be it material or human, can't be replaced. This is so true that we often hear people say, "He left a big shoe no one has ever fit in."



For some, they may have joined the trend of people last week uploading their father's pictures in celebrating the moment but the big question is, how truly do we care for our fathers? When last do we speak to them or visited? Do we really attend to their financial plea? Some of them are living miserably but with children living large at the city. Isn't it hypocritical chanting happy father's day whereas our fathers aren't happy with their conditions which you as a child can fix? When last did we get them drugs for their ill health? Do you know at their old age, some of them still farm in order to eat and pay bills?



As we ponder over this, may we understand that, we can do better than just uploading of pictures. Make their remaining days on earth enjoyable and pleasurable before they depart this earth. Remember, some of the success we celebrated in life were as a result of their earlier sacrifices for us that gave rise to the better life we now enjoy.
