The car conveying 3 passengers was on the bridge when it caved in after heavy rainfall on Saturday night, June 13th.
According to an eyewitness who recounted the incident,he said;
"The driver and passengers dived into the canal, but died before they could be rescued. They died because they could not get help as people didn’t have any means of rescuing them. We had to standby and expect the emergency team to come.”
The emergency response team later arrived at the scene to retrieve the bodies and the car.
