    4. Bag of pure water costs 1000 naira, why not just give them 1k each so they don't have to pay for transport fare to get the water home. The annoying thing is that someone or the first lady herself must have been contracted to do the pure water.

    7. @Bini , little drops of water..... I tried this (20 bags) with women at my House Fellowship in Abuja, one of them now owns a pure water factory, two delivery truck and her own car. She is now very independent and less fight at home now lol. The first lady (if though she could do better) has done something that could be a stepping ladder for some of those women.

It is only in this country that stuff like this is news worthy on a normal day this woman should be shamed for this .

This is really appalling and to think that she acted with so much impetus is even more humiliating and ribald.
And people wonder why Nigerians show no empathy towards their leaders.

Just when I thought that I have seen it all last week where a 'horrible' member was shown distributing ROPES to his constituents for their GOATS!!!

These people are just not wicked, but the spirit of meaness have eaten deep into them.

  17. 10 bags of pure water costs #1,000
So these women were gifted #1,000 each as startup grant by the first lady.
How much will they use to transport these bags of water to their houses? #500?
Find out how much the state government would claim they used for this program and you might here quotes like #100m.
This country has gone to the dogs and the citizens are too impoverished to even protest which is very sad to see.

  42. What a nonsense empowerment. Was so disgusted when I saw it. So they can assist someone with tangible money or something. I don’t want to sound so unappreciative but at least a bag of garri . One bag of rice . Some raw materials or even a grinding machine to blend things that’s empowerment but sachet water. Hmmm

  50. I don't know why Nigerians are ingrates, did you elect first Lady? She did what she could. And that's not the correct story, she did empowerment program for 250 beneficiaries, with machine to make pasta given and 20K each to the participants.

The water was for attendants who live close by, so they do not go empty handed. But it was only the picture of bags of water the detractor took and reported.

You guys should endeavor to read News to get facts.

  51. Looks like we not only have wicked rulers in Nigeria, their wives aren’t as smart as kindergartners! After stealing, all you can give is pure water? No shame in not being able to provide good water supply from the tap? Nigeria has a long way to go. Youths use the SM wisely to call attention to corruption and root it out!

    ReplyDelete
  52. She looked amaze seeing them taking the water. As if she never knew they could collect the pure water from her. It is well with our country.
