    1. They were not actually running away as reported by Southern media. That's sensationalization. They could just be returning back to work in the south and not hiding in fruit truck

  7. So what are you doing to create awareness that the pandemic is real. You know how your people's minds works, there are comnunity & religious leaders they all listen to. Why don't you get them in different open roof mobiles and get them to spread the word of hygiene and social distancing. Start from somewhere instead of sitting down acting helpless. Oga oo!

  10. I wish a lot of Nigerian CEOs, MDs, celebs and co. would come forward with their diagnosis and stories! This will put a face to it and make people more aware of the virus!! Instead, they are hiding and pretending!

A lot of these people are not even telling their staff that they have gotten the virus and are getting treatment 'codedly'. This makes no sense to me, because once they are treated and cured, they risk re-infection from the staff that are still working in close proximity to them. Unless...they plan on sacking them for being "lazy" or "for stealing from them".

When the virus first started, many said black people could not catch it...then the American NBA players came forward with their diagnosis. That made many black Americans wake up. They said the virus could not withstand heat... then Tom Hanks and his wife came out and said they had (whilst shooting in Australia - a very hot country).

Actors/Musicians/Athletes/Royals/Politicians across the globe have come forward about contracting the virus; and have shared their symptoms and how they went about getting healed from it with their followers/fans! I do not know why Nigerians are being so secretive! If global leaders could share their status, despite the impact it could have on their economies, then I don't see why CEO xyz or Actor 123 cannot come forward!

Talking openly and freely about things helps to remove stigma! It also helps create awareness!

    1. Exactly@miss E,if only they knows it helps in curbing it,people really need to hear from those placed high in society and then you see a decline in cases except the ones that are stubborn to heed.May God help us

  14. They should sensitize them, public healthcare workers should get to work. If the cases are so high in the north or anywhere else then it'll affect other parts of the country.
