Many don't believe in it.... That's the problem. I fear our case will be similar to other countries..
ReplyDeleteThe more reason why they need to sensitize and enlighten their people about the virus.
DeleteThey need to continue to sensitize them in their different languages so that the messages can be passed and and get results
DeleteSinging in Bornu...."babu kworona.....babu kworona"
DeleteCOVID-19 supplying the African Underakers video vixens to accompany the music
Oshico!
Hmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteOkay. Seeing is believing. If they don't learn from kano right now then they should get ready for their cases to sky rocket. from
ReplyDeleteSo why are they running away hiding in fruit and cow lorries???๐๐๐
ReplyDeleteThey were not actually running away as reported by Southern media. That's sensationalization. They could just be returning back to work in the south and not hiding in fruit truck
DeleteOr delibrately going to infect the southern "infidels"
DeleteYou know what Mr. deputy, covid believes that you all exists.
ReplyDeleteWere you not the ones that told them
what to believe?
Borno and Kano people are very stubborn people.
ReplyDeleteSo many people are stubborn, naive, ignorant and disobedient. Please fellow BVS avoid danfo buses and BRT for now. HEALTH IS WEALTH.
DeleteBut why are they hiding inside lorry dey run.
DeleteBut why are they hiding inside lorry dey run.
DeleteHow are we supposed to know why they were hiding inside the Lorry.
DeleteNot stubborn dear. They are illiterates. Not educated. Ignorant of it that's it.
DeleteActually, not only some northerners that don't believe in Coro baby. Some southerners too with the habits they are displaying today. It's a Nigerian thing. Illiterates and strong head people full everywhere
ReplyDeleteI just hate this coro baby thing arrh!!
DeleteSo what are you doing to create awareness that the pandemic is real. You know how your people's minds works, there are comnunity & religious leaders they all listen to. Why don't you get them in different open roof mobiles and get them to spread the word of hygiene and social distancing. Start from somewhere instead of sitting down acting helpless. Oga oo!
ReplyDeleteI laugh in Spanish on their behalf.
ReplyDeletejajajajaja
DeleteGod forgive us
Not just in borno, so many people don't believe there is anything like COVID_19
ReplyDeleteI pity them.
I wish a lot of Nigerian CEOs, MDs, celebs and co. would come forward with their diagnosis and stories! This will put a face to it and make people more aware of the virus!! Instead, they are hiding and pretending!
ReplyDeleteA lot of these people are not even telling their staff that they have gotten the virus and are getting treatment 'codedly'. This makes no sense to me, because once they are treated and cured, they risk re-infection from the staff that are still working in close proximity to them. Unless...they plan on sacking them for being "lazy" or "for stealing from them".
When the virus first started, many said black people could not catch it...then the American NBA players came forward with their diagnosis. That made many black Americans wake up. They said the virus could not withstand heat... then Tom Hanks and his wife came out and said they had (whilst shooting in Australia - a very hot country).
Actors/Musicians/Athletes/Royals/Politicians across the globe have come forward about contracting the virus; and have shared their symptoms and how they went about getting healed from it with their followers/fans! I do not know why Nigerians are being so secretive! If global leaders could share their status, despite the impact it could have on their economies, then I don't see why CEO xyz or Actor 123 cannot come forward!
Talking openly and freely about things helps to remove stigma! It also helps create awareness!
Exactly@miss E,if only they knows it helps in curbing it,people really need to hear from those placed high in society and then you see a decline in cases except the ones that are stubborn to heed.May God help us
DeleteHmm
ReplyDeleteIt is well with them๐
The earlier they believe the better for them to avoid what is happening in kano.
ReplyDeleteSeeing they say is believing, until it happens to someone close to them, that's when they will believe
ReplyDeletethey said is a western sickness
ReplyDeletesome said is a big man disease
some said the virus cant survive
heat.
They should sensitize them, public healthcare workers should get to work. If the cases are so high in the north or anywhere else then it'll affect other parts of the country.
