The bible clearly states we should not forsake the gathering of the believers. We help and sharpen one another. If the attacks keep going on people who are not well grounded in God may lose their faith. ReplyDeleteMan was not made to be alone. Man was made to fellowship with others.
Believers thrive in community. Singing together, breaking bread together, uplifting each other and bearing one another's burdens. The building is a place where believers can meet after a long week and just rest, without any need for airs or for perfection. Just talk and be encouraged by hearing the word of God and be strengthened and ready to face the cares of this world.
There's some good springing up from this lockdown and this chance to be alone and change previously held perceptions but I look forward to when we are able to meet together physically once again. I want to hold hands and shout out loud in worship together and chat over coffee and discuss Scripture together.

DeleteYears back I was working and living in a construction site. Had a Romanian friend who could read aura. He asked me one Sunday why I didn't go to church like other Nigerians. I told him about my disappointment with the church, how they failed me. He told me something I never forgot-he said that even if I don't get anything that I should go because people gather in a house and pray. The aura of prayers surrounding churches is very good. Once corona is over, I resume church attendance.

God created the world and put everyone here. He owns us all including those working hard to destroy all he instituted He commanded fellowship with him and gathering with other believers. Much more human beings are built as social beings and need interaction and communion with others who arent necessarily their direct family. Now, all of a sudden, all that maybe no plan if the plans of the wicked work. What has church hot to do with it. If churches are allowed toopen and corporate prayers with one voice to God is made without ceasing, covid will be past tense and they know it. All I know is that the GATES of hell shall not prevail against the body of Christ.I am the church and so is the next believer and collectively, we are an even more invincible force in our individual homes. They can buy as much time as they like, the Founder and Possessor of heaven and earth shall disappoint their devices, amen.

DeleteGod commanded Tithes, Offerings, Vows and Sacrifices as clearing written in the Bible. It is a form of worhip to Him who owns all the silver and gold. No one is forcing anyone to pay these. Whatever is done with it is between the Prophets, Pastors and God. Even if it is scam, I shall continue to joyful present my presents to God(Psalms 76:11) and keep giving mire to advance the church without apologies. I know and have experienced the spiritual and physical benefits of obedience. I was taught so and passing same down carefully and will ensure it's institution in my unborn generations as long as Christ tarries. The church is answerable to God not the gates of hell.
