SKILL RECOGNITION IN CHILDREN

Everyone is born with an ability to do something beautifully different from another. 

Back in the days, it was important to obtain formal education as certificate was like the only means of getting a good job. However things have so changed the world is moving from certificate to “sabificate”. “Na wetin you sabi do go put food for your table”.

There are some successful entrepreneurs today who do not have a standard education like you know but are doing very good after they recognized their skills early enough. This is not to in any way undermine the power of formal education but it should not be seen as the ultimate training for a child.

Every parent must recognize early the skill each child possesses and help them in the development of that skill gradually. It is equally important that the formal education align with the skill they posses for maximum efficiency. Encourage them to be who they were made to be. All skills well developed can be so lucrative and make a person an employer of labour.

While growing up I could finish a novel in a short time, but my sister could not finish a novel even if you give her a year. However she was so good in making very beautiful designs, she would draw designs and explain to her friends how to combine beautiful colors. Her dress sense was completely perfect when compared to mine. I don’t think I can draw a line straight without a ruler not to talk of drawing a beautiful design.

Every child is distinct,help them develop their skill to become profitable.




I know a child who does not like school and is so bad with his grades but he likes to cook and is just 15 but his has been enrolled in a cook school and will train to become a Chef and probably open his own Restaurant or work as a chef in a Restaurant......
