ReplyDeleteHappy bornday, welcome to mother earth!
I love this kind of story. So the child will be a citizen of Dubai or wherever the plane was when she birthed. There are stories of kids born in planes when the plane was flying across the oceans. Global citizens.
ReplyDelete@NiB,
DeleteThe year is 2020. Gone are the days were ignorance was considered 'bliss'.
Saying a baby has Dubai citizenship is like saying a baby has Abuja or Lagos citizenship.
Dubai is a city. United Arab Emirates is the country!
This baby will have Nigerian citizenship only, as one does not gain Emirati citizenship just by being born there. In fact, in most of the Gulf countries, citizenship is only passed on by the father.
