Governor Ganduje Cries Out That Kano Is In Trouble Over The Rate Of Coronavirus Infections.

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has expressed fears over the growing cases of Coronavirus in the state, stating that they started the fight against the virus on a shaky foundation.

In a press statement released by Ganduje’s Chief Press Secretary Abba Anwar on Sunday, Ganduje said;

“There is no doubt that Kano is in trouble. And there is no doubt that we started on a shaky foundation. When samples were taken to Abuja for 7 hours and came back again in 7 hours, that was the shaky foundation I am talking about.

“We then lodged our complaint to President Muhammadu Buhari, who ordered for the establishment of a Testing Centre at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, which after take-off was shut down for some days if not weeks. That was what escalated the transmission of the disease up to community transmission.
“But with the coming back of the AKTH Testing Centre and the addition of Bayero University, Kano that has the capacity of testing about 200 samples per day now, with the coming of Dangote Mobile Testing Centre of 400 samples capacity, we are making headway in facing the crisis squarely.”

First off,start educating the people about coronavirus and how to up their hygiene,how can you help them when their hygiene is at zero level and they are ignorant of what is going on in the rest of the World.

  1. What sort of a givernorvis this for Christ sake??

    First, he downplayed the impact of Covid-19 in his state..
    Next, he demanded that the lockdown be relaxed even though the number positive cases in his state were rising.
    Now, he's saying the state is on trouble over the rising cases..

    Kano people, you people are in God's hands.. We won't stop praying for you..

    1. It's all a game to get the 15 billion earlier requested.
      They should go all out and educate the people of Kano in Hausa and English on the dangers COVID-19 poses.
      If the people are educated in the language they understand in the mosque and on the street ,it will curb the spread.

  30. Ganduje is playing with lives. This is someone who relaxes a FG issued locked down on Monday and Thursdays.
    I am aware of 2 more testing facilities in Kano not mentioned in this release.
    He wants cash to stuff his agbada with again. And he doesn't care how many people die in the process.

    He can see now that Buhari has no use for him anymore, and is grasping at straws. He wants Kano to get 100% out of control, but he doesn't know that NO DONOR is giving him cash to handle anything, so he better face his state before Corona catches him too. And with the state of his liver, he can't afford it.
