In a press statement released by Ganduje’s Chief Press Secretary Abba Anwar on Sunday, Ganduje said;
“There is no doubt that Kano is in trouble. And there is no doubt that we started on a shaky foundation. When samples were taken to Abuja for 7 hours and came back again in 7 hours, that was the shaky foundation I am talking about.
“We then lodged our complaint to President Muhammadu Buhari, who ordered for the establishment of a Testing Centre at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, which after take-off was shut down for some days if not weeks. That was what escalated the transmission of the disease up to community transmission.
“But with the coming back of the AKTH Testing Centre and the addition of Bayero University, Kano that has the capacity of testing about 200 samples per day now, with the coming of Dangote Mobile Testing Centre of 400 samples capacity, we are making headway in facing the crisis squarely.”
First off, start educating the people about coronavirus and how to up their hygiene, how can you help them when their hygiene is at zero level and they are ignorant of what is going on in the rest of the World.
What sort of a givernorvis this for Christ sake??
ReplyDeleteFirst, he downplayed the impact of Covid-19 in his state..
Next, he demanded that the lockdown be relaxed even though the number positive cases in his state were rising.
Now, he's saying the state is on trouble over the rising cases..
Kano people, you people are in God's hands.. We won't stop praying for you..
He is desperate for $15billin
DeleteThis is the dumbest governor. In everything he scores F9 except putting dollar in his babariga. Both the governor and the people deserve themselves.
DeleteI just feel like
DeleteHe's lowkey happy cos he now has a good cause why he should be given 15 Billion .
This man isn't fit to be a governor, regardless the ignorance of the states citizens,
He owes them duty of care ,but he obviously doesn't care about them. I sincerely wish Nigerians would begin to vote for credible candidates that has the ability the better the country and various states .

ReplyDeleteFew days ago he called for the Fed government to ease the lockdown now he’s Worried about the increasing Covid-19 in his state !
It's all a game to get the 15 billion earlier requested.
DeleteThey should go all out and educate the people of Kano in Hausa and English on the dangers COVID-19 poses.
If the people are educated in the language they understand in the mosque and on the street ,it will curb the spread.
Honestly, today he wants this tomorrow he wants this. He is not here it there. Its a pity.

Deleteis this governor not speaking from the both sides of his mouth? I thought he said the deaths in his state is not corona virus related

ReplyDeleteSays a governor who asked the FG to relax the lockdown. Those abokis are still clueless to what is happening around the world.
ReplyDeleteUseless man, shebi they said it's not corona killing them, maybe it's their gods purnishing him for what he did to sanusi lamido then, yeye man.
ReplyDeleteSanusi is in silent mode
DeleteAs they hate truth
He must be relieved not to be there right now as they rotate inside stupidity and powerful ignorance
Maybe if your Government has through the years focused on education and Health instead of hiding dollars In your Agbada Kano won't be in such mess.
ReplyDeleteHand must touch him and all them
DeleteThe man is dumb, I'm short of words for him. He needs to take a cue from Lagos and Ogun State Governors.
ReplyDeleteAt first,he vehemently denied the fact that COVID-19 was responsible for the several deaths recorded in the state. Now,he goes cap in hand begging...lol
ReplyDeleteHe is totally clueless..if he were to be my father, I will be totally ashamed of him. How can one display so much lack of knowledge? Does the state have a deputy governor at all? God help Kano.
ReplyDeleteVery clueless governor, I wonder how he became governor. After telling federal govt to ease the lockdown in your state, you are now lamenting. Confused man
ReplyDeleteGandollar your greed and insatiable love for money was the shaky foundation. Hope you're still waiting for 15billion? Kwontinue 😀 baba has blow below the belt. Wicked man
ReplyDeleteWon't Fatima come and defend this one?
ReplyDeleteThis kano state governor though. Where them for take see this man?
ReplyDeleteShameless man
ReplyDeleteGanduje is playing with lives. This is someone who relaxes a FG issued locked down on Monday and Thursdays.
ReplyDeleteI am aware of 2 more testing facilities in Kano not mentioned in this release.
He wants cash to stuff his agbada with again. And he doesn't care how many people die in the process.
He can see now that Buhari has no use for him anymore, and is grasping at straws. He wants Kano to get 100% out of control, but he doesn't know that NO DONOR is giving him cash to handle anything, so he better face his state before Corona catches him too. And with the state of his liver, he can't afford it.
