ReplyDeleteWe also fry our own by ourselves and that's the one that tastes better. Our cassava has finished so no home made garri. Now the type that's being sold in the market is very bad. Not good with hot water as swallow let alone to drink.

ReplyDeleteFor the 1st time in almost 20 years, I woke up craving garri. So, I had garri and barbecue chicken wings for breakfast today, and I really enjoyed it.
My own garri is called High-end Garri aka Posh-Garri. I add a spoonful of yogurt. 🤤😋. It’s an acquired taste. Gives it a hint of sourness but oh so yummy. Served with roasted peppered mackerel. Ohh la la.
