We all know how government works. What if they were supplied the IVs on credit just for the program to be done. And they just paying them afterwards.
ReplyDeleteIn Nigeria, the coach gets salary months after.
These things goes through different approvals and audits. Just from another angle

258m for just invitation cards, is it gold plated ?, so how much will the Governor spend on his own invite now.
ReplyDeleteThey are plotting, but God is the best plotter. They may not live long to enjoy what they have embezzled and at the end they would would have to account for their stewardship.

So many abandoned road projects in Agege LG, half of that money could go a long way to complete one or two of them like that street where one of the bars you go to drink before you become lawmaker.
ReplyDeleteNigerians doing Nigeria evil since Independence.
ReplyDeleteSMH may God come rescue us from these politicians
ReplyDeleteAnd his home base Agege is now a God forsaken slum,Lagos state government is full of scam,a visit to west west Africa's largest waterworks and pig farm in iju will make your heart skip the roads are so bad more especially around one deep gorge at Hercules bus stop, I was told the only time Lagos state knows iju is in existence is during elections or plane crashed which is quite popular in that area
ReplyDeletePolitics in Nigeria is "I chop, you chop."
ReplyDeleteThe day you refused to carry others along is the day your secret will be revealed to the world.
My only joy is that all the large sum illicitly taken won't be taken to the great beyond and they will SURELY give account of their time here on Earth.
ReplyDeleteImagine giving account of how you squandered the people's commonwealth.
Shuddering...
