Till now he doesn’t joke with me. If I call him it doesn’t ring more than twice before he will pick. If he misses my call he will call back almost thirty times until I pick.
I should have married him but there was too much to lose. It will look like we scammed my husband and he can kill us. This life can be funny. I can’t sleep with him again so we don’t start what we can’t finish. Too risky for now.

My husband tried that nonsense with me. I felt he shouldn't shoulder all the responsibilities. In fact, I've shared the story here before. He wasn't working when we got married, I later got him a job in my organisation and he was my senior because of his degree and qualifications. Still we shared all the responsibilities. I will practically have nothing left at the end of the month.
ReplyDeleteThen he got the bright idea to cheat, what was worse is the day I didn't have stew/soup in the house, i collected chicken on credit from a friend then I told him to give me money to buy tomatoes and co. He said he doesn't have money blah blah, then he later dropped 500 naira after much grumbling. I was even thinking of how to spend the money when I saw an alert of 10k to the side chick. After you grudgingly gave me 500 naira for you and your children, you can send 10k to a girl. I'm a gentle person but that day, I scattered for him no be small.
Since then, I don't contribute a dime to the house, to think I was supporting him to pay school fees, pay house rent and contributing to build our house. Responsibility has almost choked him to death, everything go and meet daddy, its what he drops he will eat. I take my children out and we have fun, I buy things for myself for the first time in almost 15 years. I even saved and bought my own land, by God's grace, i will start building it little by little. This January, he begged me that we should join hands together and finish our house. Told him if my kobo ever mixes with his, then I'm a bastard. He don beg tire. Abeg I hate nonsense, it's when he has extra money he will cheat now, I make sure I take about 90% of his salary now. Men when you have a woman willing to build with you, don't mess it up.
