Are pastors not citizens π€
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of pastors out there that do not depend on tithes and offering,
But depend on the goodwill of their members .
True.
DeleteI agree with you
Why don't you all keep quite. Must you all bashed churches.
ReplyDeleteIf God is with His people, just know the gats eof hell shall not prevail.
God is the owner and yes churches are succeeding. They don't need government intervention.
Churches are giving out to people. Go and find another hustle yeye papers.
Pastors don't need government intervention. A pastor that ask don't know his callings.
When God calls you, He makes provisions except you want to pally with the devil
ππππ. You couldn't have said it better.
DeleteNot all are called, Govt can still help
DeleteYori yori mama, well saidππΌππΌππΌ
DeleteI don't know why they are always mentioning pastors.
Are there pastors asking for help? Yeye paper. No news to publish again
ππ
DeleteThey should be the one supporting, haven't they gathered enough from their congregation.
ReplyDeleteπππππππππ
ReplyDeletePastors and Imams have been donating both cash and medical equipments to government, even distributing palliative to people. What have the management of Daily Trust contributed.
ReplyDeleteI don't think pastors will accept such palliative π€π€π€
ReplyDeleteThey should support theirpeille with what they have been stockpiling over the years.
ReplyDeleteSome daft church members will soon be here to defend their oppressors now.
Awon my pastor said"
If after this pandemic una no get sense, una no go get sense again for life.
Hmnn , my Pastor neighbour has been owing house rent for months now, caretaker don shout tire. I think some of them need palliative
ReplyDeleteThank you for this
DeleteI rarely comment on such post but honestly they need to stop this nonsense of always bashing pastors there are genuine men of God out there that need help.
I belong to the welfare department of my church,we have distributed food items to church members and our neighboring community three times during this lockdown.
ReplyDeleteWhat has Daily trust done? π
Does daily times collect offerings from thousands of people. Do they collect tithes from thousands of people across tens of branches accross our nation. Your church gave palliative, how many other churches did same.
DeleteAlexander
Dont mind them, as if its pastors that brought coro to Nigeria
DeleteShut up Alexander, the church didn't force tithe from anybody's hand, members gives tithe on their own volition, and according to God's words in Malachi 3:10 and expect to get blessed in return.
DeleteGo and ask the people you vote in power for palliative, you didn't call any Pastor and to give or not to give is at their discretion not yours.
I dont know why they keep involving Pastors in some arguments. These Pastors are citizens of Nigeria so they are entitled to whatever government gives out. Then again most of them are giving out doing the work of the government so it means they dont need Govt sustenance.
ReplyDeleteHas anybody else noticed that since this Corona Virus thingy, nobody prays against principalities and powers any more. Even village people have rested. We all now have a common enemy
ReplyDeleteDaily trust please did any pastor or group of pastors complain to you people to solicit on their behalf?π
ReplyDeleteNot necessary
ReplyDeleteTrust me Stella, Pastors don't need palliative, if the Lord called you, He will feed you. Ephesians 3:20
ReplyDeleteSpeaking from experience.
Should govt provide support for pastors and imams? Why single out pastors. This post is grossly biased
ReplyDeleteThat you are a pastor should not make you not to have means of surviving except from offering and co.Pastoring is not a means of financial independence, it should be a calling from God.
ReplyDeleteIn other words pastors are also human and can equally go Broke like some others. So if you are in the position to help them,do so to those who need it and stop castigating them all the time.
They are still human beings like every other person.
Pastors Pastor's everywhere. The gates of hell will never prevail over the church of Christ.
ReplyDeleteThe Government CAN NEVER TRY IT. Nigerian government or another one. Please Pastors should help themselves. They have been doing that for ages..shebi they said the tithe is not for them the pastors so what are they complaining about.
ReplyDeleteDon't mind those criminals in suit and tie.
DeleteFG should also give pastors our own share of palliative so they can share for us
