The only difference is that one aimed higher and went the extra mile while the other settled for what it had... Don't engage in what you're not supposed to all because you wanna prove a point... Remember both started with a Plan, while one was bigger the other one was just small... Who is raising these girls? This woman used up so much energy just to tell us she loved other people's money. Why not make yours? Beware of people that are quick to use the word "stingy". To you, the only thing that makes a man good is when he opens his account for you. I pity you. You still have a long way to go.
I want to make something clear here, women NEED marriage more than men. You can insult me all you want, but deep down you know the truth. This una shakara needs to stop in your own interest. You are no longer young, forget the shit they're saying here. Any man or woman that's 30 is not young and should be married, except they don't desire it. A lot of you wasted your early years enjoying the attention of men (mostly married men) to your detriment. Years have slowly rolled by, and you're now getting desperate. Not sleeping with men randomly does not make you a good girl. There are few women who did not turn down marriage entreaties in their early 20s. They told themselves they were still young. Yes you were, and that was the right time to get hitched. Once you're 20 as a woman, you are good to go. You can still marry and achieve your dreams. Where did we even get this shit of waiting close to 30 before thinking marriage? Oyibo no dey like that, in fact many marry once they're 18. Our mothers married at a very young age, some as young as 16. So, tell me, where the hell did our girls get this 30 thing? A 30 years old footballer is considered an old man- think about it. I am more than 30, but the fact I am not married doesn't mean I should deceive others and tell them it's cool. It is not. I'm not happy about it. It is better you have kids early, forget the shit they tell you. Who are the ones writing Chronicles? Who are the ones crying at night? Don't allow these single advanced women use cheap braggadocio deceive you. They also cry at night. Young girls, be wise. You have more "negotiating power" when you're very young. You have an avalanche of correct men coming to you when you're younger. You get more desperate and can roll with any dirty man in sight as you grow older. And let me tell you something, an average Naija man is usually more willing to spend his money on a younger woman.

My hubby's friend's wife called me out of nowhere since this yr (the last we heard from them was when I gave birth dec) that she wants to come stay with me with her two kids and two house helps for one week, that a prayer woman told her that she will be kidnapped this week in her home and her hubby is not around same as mine. The hubby said he offered to get her police men to guard but she said no, he told her to go to his uncle's place she said that the place is too small (3bedrooms apartment), Maybe cos she feels my home is bigger 6bedrooms duplex.
The issue now is, I told her that my husband is not around too and we have been managing this lockdown and that I'm still recovering from eclampsia and dont have help yet cos their tests have been coming out pregnancy positive so I'm still taking my time to find a good help while I manage with my two kids. My bp is yet to drop I still live on drugs and can be triggered by stress so my doc advised I tried to avoid stress as much as I can.
This lady is the competitive and gossip type, she doesn't just know when to stop or respect anyones privacy, she is the type that can't manage two pieces of meat without telling the whole world about it, she visits prayer homes, what she sees in your home gets outside reason I stayed far from her. She once told me I drive cars and a big mans wife, yet I wear ok clothes and use cheap phones. I told her I grew up suffering so I'm used to whatever I feel comfortable with wether cheap or not doesn't matter, I dont look hungry neither my kid. She was telling people of our investments so I just felt she wasn't my type and stayed far, I'm an introvert and on the quite side she is opposite. I'm not judging her pls just trying to give a picture of why I don't want her around me.
I have explained to her my 2 near stroke experiences and that the stress went to my kidney, docs are doing their best. That I dont want stress now cos she will be coming with two kids and helps and that means I will be responsible for them and since she is the type who doesn't do chores or manage how do I cope? Whenbim tired and want some quite or sleep, she may feel I'm giving her bad attitude. I can stay with just my kids and manage the little things I make but now I have to cook for many and make sure to please her so she doesn't find fault and that is more stress on me. Pls all my explanations fell on deaf ears.
Bvs how do I make her not to come pls????? If i was stronger I wouldn't mind. I was doing that before.

ReplyDeleteSo I have this 62 year old single neighbour that lives in my compound. She's been dating this younger man who I found out he's married. This man practically comes here daily and leaves as late as 11pm.
ReplyDeleteWhen this lockdown started I was wondering what lie he would tell his wife but no it became worse. They travel together, stays for days sometimes. To think his wife is very young and has a biz of her own.
Painful part was the slay grandma travelled for a month without the side boo but left behind her dog. U won't believe this idiot was the one coming to feed n fend for the dog. Am sure his likes won't lift a finger at home. As the woman returned he became worse, Xmas, new year he spends here. I don't want to believe the wife doesn't know, as they each drive each others cars. Slay Grandma even attends family function of this idiotic dude. Its not my biz but am pained abeg, this grandma has no conscience abeg. The man too is an idiot. I wish I could just codedly inform the wife, I hate nonsense. I don't think its about money cos the slay grandma works for as a fed civil servant, I don't get how a man would leave his Young wife and settle for an older woman. End of rant
