President Buhari's spokesperson, Femi Adesina, has again dismissed the call made by some Nigerians for the President to make it a priority to address the nation frequently on measures being taken by his administration to curb the spread of the novel Coronavirus in the country.
Adesina in a chit-chat on Arise TV on Friday, said what matters is results and not addressing people as often as possible. He mentioned that the President of China where the pandemic started from, never addressed his people for once but the country has been able to beat the pandemic.

ReplyDeleteBí ti ẹ. Tó bá ponu òní pé ẹni tó lè bí ẹ lọ mọ ni oponu. Ọdẹ.
DeleteIs Nigeria China? Is China Nigeria? Why the comparison? Say something else, please.
ReplyDeleteBut you want him to address us as Trump does in the US? Is Nigeria the US?
DeleteTrump, even before Covid 19, address the press almost every day. That is his style. How many times has Buhari addressed the press? Why do you now want him to change his style and copy Trump?
You guys don't have anything better to do.
We like to copy oyinbo everytime.pls what use is his speaking everyday, how many presidents speak everyday about it?even the countries that have worse numbers don’t have their president come out to speak everyday.pls give the man a break and stop trying to copy oyinbo everytime.
ReplyDeleteNigerians are bunch of confused people.
DeleteThey are always out talking about useless topics, leaving serious issues unattended to
Femi & Co has turned Buhari to a toddler, that they had to be making excuses for his inadequacies. He has never on his OWN defended himself.
ReplyDeleteBuhari is indeed in OFFICE but not in POWER.
Femi Adesina is doing his job, hence, the dumb response. He has to defend his boss if he doesn't want to lose his job.
ReplyDeletePresident Xi spoke addressed the nation every week and visited locations and residents on lockdown...
ReplyDeleteChina BV.
Yinmu 😎😎😎 Mtchweee. Action indeed, speaks louder than words. And what action has Bubu taken to curb Covid 19. Not surprised anyways, Brother wey Mumu 😩😩😩
ReplyDeleteYeye dey smell
I don't want to imagine how it feels like to be in Femis shoes right now.
ReplyDeleteThose asking Buhari to be addressing them are just plain stupid.
ReplyDeleteTrump has been talking and misleading people. Talking means nothing, it's all about action..
WHO just commended is government for the way that have been handling the pandemic.
Talk is cheap, he's not a talkative.
Is he an action man ?
DeleteNigeria is blessed with intellectuals and highly learned persons yet statements like this will make you think the government is addressing primitive and illiterate people. I'm sometimes ashamed on their behalf
ReplyDeleteAs long as the intellectuals keep allowing incompetent people lead, such rubbish will continue
DeleteIs China democratic... The backbone of democracy is transparency. That man called president can die for all I care or be in Cuba he will die 1 day sha. We need to understand the reliance and importance of the Veto power of their office. 1 important thing is this if the top 3 govt officials die then it means the govt has been taken over simply a coupe. Be guided guys. Transparency is what we ask and when did we choose China as a yardstick for democracy instead of UK(where he buhari campaigned) , Germany, the rest of Europe even Ghana. And the full is talking abt style.
