Hmm, they should be careful not to eat the one that causes Lassa fever.
ReplyDeleteE B O L A!
DeleteAnother virus loading.
DeleteJust 2 weeks lockdown lagosians are going crazy over hunger😂biafrans endured 3 years of blocked no food nothing can you imagine that?
ReplyDeleteBlockage you mean.
DeleteAs in ehh! 3 whole years is not beans my dear, They where so strong willed.
DeleteThat's why they eat everything that comes thier way including humans
DeleteThey had farm lands. This is rather Sensitive Biko
DeleteYou can imagine what our parents and grand parents went through.
DeleteYeah that's because they started eating each other. Some still eat human meat til this day
DeleteIt's blockade. Cutting off supplies and aid coming in through land and sea. That's an extreme warfare strategy, maximum pressure if you will, leading to hunger, starvation, neutralization (weakened enemy's army), and ultimately surrender.
Delete@Da epic pen, you are well read👍
DeleteImagine this! Where are the loud wealthy Lagosians? In some parts of the east people are not waiting for the govt because their better off brothers and sisters have been organising food and money for their communities. No social media posts just quietly looking after their own.
DeleteTrue that anon 12.13. Different state chapters of my village association(Abia State) are sharing relief materials to the villagers and members in need.
DeleteLassa fever is real and its killing more in Nigeria than Wuhan Corona virus.
ReplyDeleteThis is stupidity and not hunger.
I hope there wouldn't be another outbreak 😭😢😥😭
DeleteLol. If they cook it well and remove the intestines nothing will happen to them. All na food. May we not have an outbreak of lassa fever sha.
ReplyDeleteShyla what did you say?🤮🤮🤮
DeleteYuck!
DeleteLol. Boiling temperature will kill the virus present in them naa. I would be very scared if they were eating it raw.
DeleteWhat are you saying Shyla? I'm having shivers just looking at these pictures and imagining what you're saying. That is how the Chinese went on eating everything alive and look where we are. Some things should just never be eaten.
DeleteHoly Moses!!! This is serious. I hope we won't be recording a huge spread of Lassa fever soon.
ReplyDeleteTufiakwa! They must be abakiliki people
DeleteChioma, it's Lagos. Don't be a traitor.
DeleteLol @traitor. I saw the comment and what came to my mind was, is this person okay?
DeleteEwww. What about Lassa fever? I don't get it.
ReplyDeleteLassa fever is a viral hemorrhagic fever(belongs in the same class as dem Ebola fever type) and it's transmitted through secretions of Rats
DeleteKai, what an eyesore 🙆🙆🙆
ReplyDeleteInstead ill say their healths are in trouble..thats y they say one thing must kill a man, apparently their no b corona.must dey eat meat🙄
ReplyDeleteOh my God😱
ReplyDeleteGeez 🥺🥺 I don't think this is safe at all...or is it rabbits??
ReplyDeleteGod in heaven please come down for your children.
ReplyDeleteI don't like this, how can they eat rat, rabbit is better,Lasser fever is deadly oh.
ReplyDeleteLassa fever
DeleteInasmuch as this is nauseating, it is reflective of the current harsh economic realities which have compelled many Nigerians to resort to desperate measures to survive. Rats!!! Asin the ones inside sewers, gutters, broken toilets (sorry for messing up your breakfast).
ReplyDeleteThe sad thing is that our nation can't cater for the citizens not for lack of resources but due to avarice (uncle of greed and selfishness).
To Mr. President, WOEmanitarian Minister and other selfish politicians congRATS for subjecting Nigerians to untold hardships.
You have said it better... These criminals in power don't care about the masses.
DeleteThis is very terrible infact all I see is d second picture where lots of plates are lined up, just imagine plates are lined up to get rats. Of everything RATS!!!
DeleteEven for us who are staying home, bills are already piling especially some of us who work in d private sector. No work means no Pay
I just pray this pandemic doesn't push Nigerians too hard
People have been eating rats , cats and dogs before the lockdown. Those who have never eaten rats will not start because of the lockdown. These are just isolated cases. Let's stop over dramatising. Possibly the pictures were just downloaded from the net by one mischievous element.
DeleteAlexander
thank you Alexander 😊
Delete@Alexander the Great, the same way bad elements have been robbing with guns before the lockdown. Possibly, 1 million boys onslaughts on Lagosians are just tell-tales. Common, let's stop minimizing this issue. Some Nigerians are taking desperate measures. The carpenter we read that broke in into a shop because of hunger. People stealing pots of soup. And you think eating rats wont be a walk in the park.
DeleteMight not even be in Nigeria. Once something is posted, some people mouth go dey sharp . When it's refuted, they will still say I said it. 🚶♀️🚶♀️
DeleteMaybe they are Tivs
ReplyDeleteAt least, after this period there will be no more rats in Lagos. The mama rats will all be eaten and no more breed
ReplyDeleteGod forbid, Lassa fever is real
ReplyDeletethat didn't happen in lagos
ReplyDeleteLassa fever is real . Lagos cannot battle two diseases at a time o!
ReplyDeleteThis one is not hunger again, until they catch Lassa fever na wa.
ReplyDeleteHunger is real,God help us in this country
ReplyDeleteIf it is bush rat n not house rat den it is ok
ReplyDeleteChai!!!!
ReplyDeleteHunger dey
Oh Lord!!
They should beware of Lassa fever
ReplyDeleteNa wa oh 🙆🙆🙆
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell!!!Lassa and Ebola reloading.
ReplyDeleteIt will be well with our nation
ReplyDeleteThis is a reflection of the situation at hand.
ReplyDeleteE don reach like this? 😔😔😔
ReplyDeleteThis can't happen in Epe home of plenty foods of all kind. Epe is more like food basket of Lagos state, as fishes, snails, wild life, plantain farms, yam and plenty other goodies. Secondly, Epe population is roughly 200,000 making it the least populated in LGA in lagos state.
ReplyDeleteMice and rats are edible. Whats the difference between house mice and bush rats? Its just the size. Thr ones in our homes are mice and not rats and the ones found in bushes are rats. Its a delicacy in most parts of nigeria. People it monitor lizards, frogs, birds, snakes, iguana, horses, ostriches, bats etc if your culture abhors it, its accepted in others. Most of you who travel to dubai have eaten horses, camels and have drank their milks ...Make i go defrost the crocodile meat for freezer, happy sunday darls
ReplyDeleteYes people 'it' all of that 😆😆😆😆
DeleteAll of una wey dey chop aboki suya una know the sources? Una don chop rat, vulture, dead cows all join. Una dey complain say ppl they chop rat. Mtcheww
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't make it right
DeleteLassa fever ooo
ReplyDeleteThis is Bush rat ooo. They eat it everywhere nww.
ReplyDeleteAll I see Is lassa fever oooo😱😱😱😱 God help us in this trying times
ReplyDeleteI cant even look at those pictures well! I pray this covid -19 will make our politicians to have a re-think. As they cant travel abroad now for treatment, if they can think about our health sector and education sector for once!
ReplyDeleteThese are not Lagosians, they are economic migrants from other states they are the ones giving Lagos and Lagosians a bad name. Lagosians are too tush to engage in primitive behaviour like this.
ReplyDeleteAbeg you people should know there is Lassa fever in Nigeria oo. We are still crying of hunger from Coro lockdown, you people should not add Lassa fever lockdown to this oo...
ReplyDelete
