At the heart of real love is acceptance. Anything you have to change to get, you will have to constantly change in order to keep. Love is most beautiful when it is unforced and not manipulated. Let love happen by God’s divine orchestration. Whatever He sends your way He will give you the grace and wisdom to handle. You may not be the apple of someone’s eye just yet, but you are surely the apple of God’s eye. You may not have a David Jonathan kind of friendship just yet, but you have one with God. He loves you in every state and in every season. He took off His priestly garments and wrapped you in robes of righteousness. You will never be able to reach the bottom of God’s love for you!
Until someone can love you even remotely close to that kind of love, honey they don’t deserve you.

MiL is mad at me.
ReplyDeleteIn my house, hubby has been cooking since we got married 9years ago. We have 3 kids , so when he cooks i watch the kids.
I also go to the market.
So my in laws lives on our street, so they never get to sleep over.
Yeasterday MIL came in the morning, that she is bored and will like to spend the whole day with us.
Me i welcomed her, we gisted small and i wentu my room.
So oga made breakfast, called on me and the kids to eat , which we all did together .
We all watched movies, when it was time for lunch , oga wentu cook again, same too for dinner.
But at the dinner my table mIL, starts telling me so i use juju to tie her son. That what kjnd of wife doesnt cook, i was jn shock. Oga kept telling her that his not complaining. That its our style. She kept cussing me out even with the kids.
Now my BILs have called that i must come for family meeting or i wont be counted as family.
DH said i shouldn't go?

ReplyDeleteA colleague showed me a video his friend made from the UK of items dropped at their doorstep with a note to call a number if there are items they need that was not in the package. 😮😮😮 The items contained things even rich people will lack at home in this COVID-19 era. I can't begin to list them but it was a good mix of healthy food and fruits. Who did we actually offend in this country that things have refused to be better? People who manage to distribute items will tell poor people to pose for pictures or videos. Old men and women fa. What will be inside the package sef Smh. It is well with us.

ReplyDeleteLet me rant this morning. Why is it that when people find themselves in so called big position they feel too big to pick calls.
ReplyDeleteSometime ago I met someone on board and being from the same state I walked up to him to say hello in the aircraft. We exchanged numbers and later he was appointed commissioner. I called to congratulate but he refused to pick my call nor acknowledge my message feeling important. Fastforward to 5 years later. Power change hands. He is a nobody now and called me yesterday to enquire if there was an opening in my organisation. Ofcourse my position as a top federal govt executive is bigger than his commissioner position. I reminded him of my trying to make contact with him before.
I asked him if he was still a commissioner will he have located my number or picked my call? He was sobber.
Human being, we dont know tomorrow. Pride and arrogance killing us. I am still far better off as I still have my job of over 25 years compared to unstable political positions.
I am sure he reflected on all I said. In spite of my position, I pick my calls cause you never know who will give you an inportant information. Someone is governor/Minister today moving with siren tomorrow, he is a commoner. So why dont we learn and drop our shoulders. The world is round you know.
