  2. Please she should be released already🙏🏾, in as much as what she did was wrong, i truly believe she did not mean for any harm or thought it would end this badly😩,she has been a source of joy & laughter in many homes in nigeria for years, her arrest and the way nigerians reacted via social media is enough deterrent for others to learn from moving foward with those whole corona stay at home stuff

  3. She messed up the apology with that phrase " people that shared indomie".

They should free her. By now, she must have learnt her lesson.

  4. This is for y'all to know that no one should be above the law. Nigeria and can be tagged all sorts of rubbish but when it wants to behave right, you can't do anything about it.

She will be out with a lesson to learn.

We need to get to the point where we all will be made to give an account of all our actions, so think before you act!

Other countries are doing better than us because of their no-nonsense attitude and small love rushing there cos the system works, let Naija work please. That's how it should be.

    1. I wish they used this same energy to prosecute the men of God who also boldly disobeyed the stay at home and social distancing instruction.

Yes, she goofed but i think they are taking this too far. They just want to use her as a scapegoat. All of a sudden, the Nigerian police is competent and working.

    2. It's sad that she has become a scape goat. They should release her already. I'm sure she has learnt her lesson

Are you sure you're truly worried or care about her arrest and not happy and laughing behind the keys... ? Or just doing show off solidarity to show that you care?

    2. Go to Instagram and see all of them showing fake and yeye love. I know a lot of them are saying "yes Olohun mu, se ohun nikan ni" behind closed doors. Awon oshisco!

  6. This is so personal for me and this upsets me really bad but its just my personal feelings.

I now understand they were within the law to arrest her but the outcry against her felt so personal, like people had been waiting for something to bring her down.

No longer even blaming the people but her. She should have done better.

After this, I doubt she will ever see Nigerians the same way again. Dunno how she will still be able to help a random person.

    Funke, this too shall pass.

    2. Truth is if I were her, I'll NEVER help a random person. Nigerians are so wicked!! I don't support what she did and I like the fact that she was arrested, but making a mockery of her personal life and even insulting her husband and children is plain evil. Nigerians are damn wicked!!

    3. I understand where you are coming from. She did wrong alright but i thought she was Nigeria's sweetheart, I just didn't expect the call for her arrest from so many people and comments I read were just wow!...almost seemed like people had been waiting for her to mess up.
Funke you really should have known better as so many people look up to you, I hope you learn your lesson and pay up the expected fine.

    5. @the outcry against her felt so personal.
From the comments it seemed like some people did out of personal beef.
While others commented without sentiment or bias .

    6. The mockery ehn!!!! People are hateful. Just waiting patiently for her to fuck up, then unleash their venom!

All she has to pay is 100k and she's free but what people may lose from this ehn. I won't even blame her

I'm sure it's the mockery that breaks her the most.

    7. I felt very embarrassed and disappointed on her behalf.uou just spoke my mind ehn. I even thought Nigerians will let it go because shes been free of scandal since her 1st marriage but it's only shows there's a serious beef and hatred in the heart of people for her. I pray that she scales through this,I'm sure she would have a new orientation.

    8. It's painful when you see people doing things they can never try in developed countries. I feel she knew what she was doing was wrong. She just didn't care about what people would think or say. Uploading the video further proved that. To think she's a role model and ambassador of several brands.. People are dying daily, even in developed countries. She should know better.

    9. A combination of criticism and praise will help her grow..

    10. Eka, I agree with you. I was just saying to my husband about an hour ago that it's funny how people have been coming for her as though they've been waiting for her to mess up. I really love Funke. I know they should have just obeyed the law and not partied but people make mistakes. The way Nigerians have been rejoicing is shocking to say the least. It's truly when you're down that you'll know who your friends are. Funke you'll be fine!!

    11. Yesterday was Palm Sunday. You know the people who shouted “Hosanna in the highest; blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord” were the same ones who chanted “kill him; crucify him.” It’s the way of the world.

    12. You never know Nigerians. I learned alot during Linda Ikeji saga. The same people you helped, clamoring for you, will turn in a minute to laugh, and crucify you.
Pray not to fall into temptation, then you will know and understand human beings.
This will teach Funke a big lesson. Her life has really changed.

    13. That she's loved doesn't mean she shouldn't suffer the consequences of her actions. It is sentiments such as these that has made Nigeria what it is today

    14. Shocked me too.....

Even the comments here too, insulting the Man and calling him names all because of what?? Nigerians are naturally wicked people and sometimes deserve what happens to them!!.

    15. There's fear, hunger, boredom in the land. Many people have sacrificed plenty for this lockdown. Most Nigerians when bitter would love to drag you down because misery loves company.

I think her husband in a way escalated this whole issue with that stupid video he posted telling people to keep on ranting.

And you are here shouting and flying flags for her release!

  9. This is so sad. On all levels. You mean she is still being detained?
Na person shr kill? Cos I'm not understanding again. It was wwrong on her part especially being an ambassador but she should have known better. Its not compulsory to celebrate birthday!
And I'm hearing the hubby ran away. Hope it's not true. To avoid being arrestes hmself.i he should bail her out. Shr wasnt even supposed to spend more than a few hours at the station. Lesson has been learnt.

  10. Eka, nobody wants to die. At least not because someone was careless. We all know we don't have good health care and facilities. Because God has not allowed us to bury thousands like other countries is a miracle on it's on. Most people don't give any sh*t about dem yeyebrities. Na death we dey talk abeg no need to try to make it look like anyone has anything against her. Same reason a politician will goof and they will say the outcry is because he's a Muslim or from a particular tribe. Lets just call a spade what it is A SPADE!!!
