To all those who were nagging about Sanusi being a truth teller and different from the pack, I hope you now know why his people are angry with him. He is the same as they are- marrying barely legal children and living la Vida loca while doing absolutely nothing to directly alleviate the burden of poverty and illiteracy that he uses to make paid speeches and get himself personal appointments. You cannot be sitting at the same table and then be insulting those that invited you. Where is any education trust for the impoverished of Kano? How about a vocational institute for the poor or women? Any schools built by the Emirate for those who do ranka dede for him while he was an emir? No, just 2 rolls Royce when he was asked what he'd like his rich friends to do for him.

The only time he does any heavy lifting is when it's time to murder Christian evangelists. Even the poor of the north would not vote for him because they bought the extremist forms of Islam he imported from Sudan and are not about this new "go to school and plan your kids" version he is using to boost his CV publicly.
