I thought we are to obey the laws of the land only for later another message came that no service today. I think that follow up came after a wedding which our Church Christ Embassy tried to hold yesterday, in Utako, Abuja. I am very disappointed. To make it worse the online link sent for service today has a link for offering and tithe collection in this time. People need to be wise, I am yet to hear of any Church giving relief to their Church members in this Corona time. Why is it not happening, so no one can think along that line? I can't pretend before I display my displeasure on that group let me just exit. Everything is not prayer, we pray then what. A lot of Nigerians cannot afford sanitizers to keep safe. Let someone else who cannot be traced to you do it just like those working in Dangotes company leaked the story of the Indian that came back and didn't isolate himself. Or better still, spend a good deal of the salary you are still getting on sanitizers and antiseptic soap. Wash every 30 mins while at work and stay away from crowds. It's really a tough call but more will die from desperation, depression and hunger than any COVID-19 I. These parts.

If you read that man's post clearly yesterday he said he laughed when his wife said all those things she said and he didn't make her suspect he was angry with her. We shouldn't get carried away because she asked him and he said nothing. There is something wrong he isn't saying.
Her husband would have told his family and friends and they would have asked him what went wrong to want to leave a marriage of just one year and he would have explained to them. I am sure his family is in the know, so they won't just accept he dissolve his marriage like that after the whole planning and money spent except he told them something which is making them to keep quiet.
Who knows he might have been holding a grudge against her but waiting for the one year to click before he could take the marriage to court. I think someone said you can't dissolve a new marriage until after a year so maybe that was what he has been waiting for. Now it's a year already and he wants out.
Anonymous his family asked him repeatedly but he couldn't say anything and they told him they can never be part of it. I'm currently in his family house and everyone is begging me not to leave that he will definitely come to his senses. His siblings and parents. My grandmother married the other woman on behalf of her brother who just came back from abroad then. The man rejected her. My grandmother told her to stay with her till her brother comes around. That's how she became somewhat like a house help to her. She grew old and died in our house.

In times like this, I envy the dead, yes I do, because they don't have to worry about hunger, corona virus, how to survive, depression, loneliness, .. ReplyDeleteWhy would someone alawys turn their back to you? All the time. This is someone we both live together in the same house. We laugh and play but I noticed when we are together this person unconsciously turn their back to me except when we are talking . Even when we are sitting on the same seat. This person would turn to the other side so that their back would face me. Mind you we are room mate and I am really nice to this person.
