Saturday In House Gists - Sharing House Chores

Do you and your spouse share the house chores or the other party does not care?

Are you one of those who is lucky to have a spouse who does the dishes while you make the beds?Washes the toilet while you cook?

Or are you left all alone to do the house chores while your spouse tell you they are the one bringing in the money?

My hubby helps out with the house chores and has no problem whatsoever with helping out......Lucky me right?Lucky you too?

Some men are the ones left to do the house chores because they have lazy wife's .....................Ooops!

    1. My spouse is always busy so he doesn’t do house chores and he uses his free time to sleep wnd spend the rest with me so we have a woman that comes every weekend to clean the whole house up. I do the rest myself and his own contribution is to keep it clean.

    2. My man washes clothes, bathrooms , irons and sweeps

I cook, mop, pack washed clothes/fold, dust tv and tables, wash dishes.

This is how we do chores. He goes to market too

I dare not do his own. If I do, he will redo* them without mercy.

I used to feel bad because in my father's house na chores dey rush me; till I sat down one day and started counting my blessings

He has MAJOR ocd! His own is; DON'T help me!

Even the clothes I fold, he refolds.

The day my mother visited, she was asking me if I hv joined women that go places for men jokingly. She couldn't believe it because in her house, my father cannot even boil tea water.

To have it na me suffer pass for her house with chores that time πŸ˜‚

    4. Hubby dose not do chores oh. So what he did was to get a help that comes in 5x a week and pays her. Me i do the cooking and my room only. Hubby and the children can scatter, so that was his rrason for getting the help,me i refused to pick up after him.

  4. There are certain chores my man can't do for me...to my satisfaction.
Cos after doing it, I have to redo it, not cos I don't appreciate it, but I am never satisfied with it.
He can help with the dishes, I won't mind...I hate that chore πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
For cooking, I haven't been lucky with a good cook, so it's all me.
I love when he massages my legs....best chore for me 😏😏

  7. I can cook for a village and practically do everything else except dishes.I hate it with a passion so whenever I cook, madam knows she has to do the dishes no matter how piled up they are. When I do household chores,i don’t like to see it as helping out,I see it as doing my duty as part of the team.

  8. Hubby does laundry for the both of us while I cook and clean the house but since I conceived he's being the one cleaning, mopping, cooking and doing every other thing at home. My pregnancy is high risk and I was told never to stress myself until the baby comes. The only thing I'm permitted to do is shower which must be done while sitting down, eat food, watch film and observe a lot of bed rest. May God continue to bless my hubby for me. He's a very good man.

  25. My hubby hardly helps out but you need to see how he complains whenever the house is not sparkling clean. He even goes around looking for dirts just so he'll complain. When he manages to help out,he'll be frowning and complaining. I had no choice than to get a help cos cleaning always with two toddlers and doing business is not easy.
Although my nanny had to stop this week cos of some reasons plus she isn't feeling well,I don't even know where to start getting a new nanny from. I'm so tired of changing nannies, don't want to be exposing my kids to strangers like that and my nannies are not live ins between. My main issue is when I have to run errands, can't leave the kids home by themselves

  26. yinmu if I hear say he help, he will just stretch legs there and be saying well done baby, well done baby kee u dia, I know he will read this post, better change my dia, he was even worse before but now he has started changing small small ,we are still on it I know God will take control, most times it depends on upbringing atthe same time, my husband grew up with his mom always doing all the chores home alone and working too, the husband refused to work and preferred to live off on the wife's salary, thankfully he doesn't depend on me for that part he works and sees that as his responsibility but u see that house chores hian na so so fight we dey take make am get involved, slowly but surely he will learn cus I cannot come and die

  30. I help out when I'm available. Sometimes when I wake up early, I cook for the family. This particular period that the children are compulsorily at home has been used for bonding because my wife and I close earlier now due to a lull in business activities

  41. I'd say I have the most wicked husband on earth. It's even a fight before he can bath the kids. Self-employed so he either on bed or making calls. Sleeps till 11am most times, wakes up to ask for food meanwhile I wake up 5am to get our 3kids ready for school, beg him to drop them off when I'm extremely tired and it's another tug of war cos he likes sleep. Then I clean the whole house, do dishes, laundry, cook, pick the kids later, do homework, etc. it's sometimes overwhelming including washing toilets, etc. this man doesn't even bulge. He rather takes his bath later in the evening and go have drinks with his friends living me with all the chores. Such a wicked man I would soon divorce. And me with OCD, I can't even see a dirty-semi dirty place and leave it.
