The feeling of being left without any closure from someone you trusted — and sometimes even loved is painful...
Have i ever been ghosted?Oh yes but i found closure when they came back to beg..Have i ever ghosted on anyone?Yes....When i met someone on a casual level several times and every time i noticed a hard on,Really hard and staring at me......I ghosted!!!
A BV says to me when we gisted off the Blog ''I once had a lovely relationship with Mr. M that lasted for 3 weeks only for him to suddenly go silent. Ignoring my messages and calls . No explanation for that. Tried all my best to reach him but nothing came out of that. I was really devastated and decided to move on with my life. I met him 3 years after that at a wedding. He tried his best to get my attention and when he finally had the chance to talk to me, went on explaining that he was planning a wedding around the time we met and he didn’t love her but was already falling in love with me and had to cut our relationship short because he did not want to let his family down. I was relieved in a way because I had gotten the closure I needed. He is divorced now and wants a second chance but I wouldn’t want history to repeat itself''.
Another says she ghosted her boyfriend.... She had a number of wonderful dates with this new guy over a period of 4 months and then, she felt it was time to spend the night at his place. His apartment was lovely and well put together and they couldn’t take their hands off each other all night but when she got to his kitchen in the morning, it was a different story. That was the dirtiest place she had ever seen in her life. Cockroaches had made it a home and dirty dishes were piled high.
She packed her things and went home without telling him anything and never answered his messages or calls again. She even blocked him on Facebook and Instagram.
Best friends and family members also ghost each other....
Have you had a similar experience of being ghosted?Or was it you that ghosted someone? Why ?
Have you had a similar experience of being ghosted?Or was it you that ghosted someone? Why ?
Lets gist!!!
we die here,,,make i get my cold water and biscuit, i dey come
ReplyDeleteThe warmer or hotter the better. Please stay away from cold drinks for now.
DeleteI was 35, a virgin and engaged (paid bride price)to be married to a man i couldn't stand and planning wedding when i met this guy that embodied everything i ever dreamed of. The new guy took me on dates, bought me impeccable gifts and was well educated unlike my fiance. He made me see that things I only dreamed of could be real but I couldn't give in till I convinced my parents to return bride price o. When it was over I excitedly told new boo I was now free to commit. He was happy...Or so I thought. Then suddenly, silence! I did everything to get through to him but, for wia!
DeleteI moved on and gave my now husband a chance 2weeks later (always have spare tyer toaster girls) and married him 7months later. Only for Mr "fine-dining" to send me this beautiful wedding present telling me I deserved a better than him and it was good i moved on, that he wishes me all the good things of life.
I still didn't get a reason but that last gift and message attached was enough closure for me.
I am happy for you Sapphire. But you always made it seem you weren't a virgin till marriage. You always made it look like you painted the whole town red before you settled. Like you regretted being one. Good To know it was a different scenario.
DeleteThe guy was embarrassed you moved on fast and that gift I believe was a cover up for his own shame. You won at last.
Sapphire, me and you know that that virgin line was a lie, you like the other guy cos he has a long dick, don't lie say the truth Stella is not looking
DeleteLOL so people get closure when you try to talk to them again. I ghosted one girl, she told me once that nobody has ever left her. They always come back even if they do so I ghosted her. She saw me at a party and tried to get attention, I just smiled and walked away. I won’t lie she frustrated me after that party but I will never ever talk to you anymore if I ghost you. I know people love revenge and my pride won’t let me allow you get that happiness of emotional revenge over me
DeleteFoolish anon, Sapphire has always stated she married a virgin. What's there to lie about virginity??
DeleteGuys, guys, we have Bv Sapphire and and Bv Saphire here.
DeleteWhen you repeatedly become envious of me and always trying to downplay whatever I do, I ghost you. I don't have time for confrontations you may flip to your own advantage.
DeleteI watch, observe & access before reaching that conclusion. I hate envious people. I am that type of friend that can give you 8k out of my last 10k if you need it more than me at the moment.
But once bitterness sets in from your end, I ghost and spirit you fiam!
My first love ghosted me when I was 14/15. It scarred me and made me feel empty and not lovable for many years. Met my baby many years later and was avoiding him like a plague because I don't want such ghosting anymore. He kept pressing we meet and we finally did. It happened that my big bro warned him that he will kill him if he comes near me again that time and he left. I cried like a baby because that thing filled a very deep hole that makes me nasty to people. We were so inlove; his behaviour shocked me and affected my academics. We are dating now again and it feels like we never had the gap but we are more mature now.
DeleteI ghosted my bestie in secondary school. She was very quiet and shy and I was quute popular and notorious. When I became friends with her, I converted her to my style. Result came out, I came 1st and she came 33 out of 48. I was devastated. I had to ghost her and stay away from her because I didn't know the new life was making her unserious. We met as adults and she said the ghosting broke her then. Had to explain why and we made peace.
DeleteOh I've been ghosted if crying could kill I would have died then. Ghosting is the worst kind of break up cos you won't even know what you did. One day I might get the strength to write my full story. Long and short my friends contacted him told him I was dying and messed up. He simply told them it's normal they should leave me I'll get over it. Did I get over it? Yes. Did he later come begging? Yes. Did I accept him back? Hell fucking no! I'm married to the most awesome man I can ever ask for. And I keep thanking God everyday for that ghosting cos I would have ended up in the wrong hands.
ReplyDeleteHave never been "ghosted," but I have cut off communications with some people. When ladies who were fine believers in Christ go against all my
ReplyDeleteadvice and warnings to live in fornication/adultery, I wouldn't want to be involved in the complex world they create for themselves. 🤷🏻♀️ You
know a "little leaven leavens the whole lump" Galatians 5:9.
But a lot o f them get "ghosted" when the brat had had his fill of fork.
They think they will "trap him with sex, or pregnancy..." but it always backfires. Once the dude chops, he dumps and they come back sulking.
Sometimes, I lend them crying shoulders but their fingers had been
badly burnt and the scars last a lifetime, some for eternity. 😢😢
I will tell a story...maybe I might have told it here before....
ogaooooooooooo
DeleteMy first sentence should read; "Have never been ghosted by a MAN"... (Note, "MAN" in upper case. Maka ndi uta o 😊😊)
DeleteOne of your tales by moonlight I guess. Keep it to yourself
DeleteMadam please find a better way to preach and convert people.Your stories are always filled with imaginary bull crap that any fool will know is a nollywood script and your arrogance is very offensive.
Delete@Shooter
DeleteAt this point, you haven't even read the story and you have already designated it as such? This hate is becoming palpable. Is it that this lady talks against what you love to do? Think about it.
ANG, please can you send me a mail. I really need to discuss with you if you don't mind.
DeletePlease, I'm serious. I need your opinion on something.
Thanks.
Yes o. I ghosted my ex before getting married to my sweet lovely husband. I tried all I could to love him but I couldn't, I thought I could cope but has days go by I am more sure that wasn't what I wanted in a man. Intelligence no, a spoilt brat that never took his academic serious. He called severally and got no response from me. He has very low self esteem. I am happy I took the decision. A man that refused to move on from his old relationship.
DeleteI ghosted an ex because I had to. He was forcing marriage on me and pressuring me incessantly even after I had told him I wasn't ready in every way possible. He started blackmailing me with "so you will now date me for so and so years, waste my time and not marry me?" How can I make the decision of marrying someone within one week of dating? He wouldn't let me know his true character. Always evasive when I ask deep questions? Always avoiding quarell even little disagreement he would quickly run away then call back later pretending like we weren't in the middle of something before he left. Always leaving most serious conversations between us halfway while quickly changing the topic when he obviously doesn't agree with my opinion. When the situation he shoves asides arises later, he ends up doing what he wanted all along.
ReplyDeleteAs the relationship progressed I realised he doesn't compromise and he is the type that would always want his way at all times. We reason differently and had different life goals which I came to figure out after some months. So I told him it's best we go our separate ways and he refused.
It was more like he was practically dragging me to the altar. When I saw he wasn't ready to listen I ghosted him. I don't like people who feel all relationship must lead to marriage irrespective of whether you are right for that person or not.
another perspective here
DeleteUhhhh.. How is it one WEEK of dating when you said he was blackmailing you for dating him for so and so years?
DeleteYou did the right thing
Delete.lmao by now you would have been sending in weekly chronicles 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes Just one week he started talking marriage. 2 months already had a ring which I didn't accept. I Was running my Doctorate program so I told him I wasn't thinking marriage till a few years and he demanded I promise him we would eventually get married immediately I was done. I told him I couldn't make the decision of marrying him then at just one week. I told him I might marry him after those years or not marry him at all it depends since I was still trying to get to know him so I couldn't promise him that. If along the line I realised we weren't right for each other what do I do? I would never make a lifetime decision in a week. So he said that to me. I never said we dated for years. I said we dated for a few months.
Delete@Perxi, maybe he had started pressuring her after a week of dating and then was asking if it would have to take years before she'd be able to make her mind up.
DeleteMy baby daddy is on permanent 👻🎈. All I wanted was sperm. Oh I got a beautiful one 2. He hasn’t seen his child and am not disclosing my location. He was a healthy asshole and I got what I wanted.
DeleteHello chocolate Noir.👋🏿
DeleteYea, looking back now I am so glad I didn't marry him. Deep down I just knew he wasn't the one.
How can you deprive a child of the love of both parents, when the other parent may be willing and able to be present in the child's life? Is that not selfishness and evil?
DeleteAnnomymous 16:11, I know your type. Your plan from the onset was to have kid(s) without getting married, and you never mentioned it to the man. Immediately you got pregnant you ghosted him. That is wicked. If a man did the same-ghosting a lady after getting her pregnant- I would also describe him as wicked, so would you.
DeleteYour type are usually well-to-do, want the freedom of being single and want to have kid(s). There is another category of these type of ladies. They are usually based "in the abroad". What they do is get married to a man, have kid(s) in a legitimate union -marriage- then create a scenario for divorce. They then get divorced and start milking the man for child support and spousal support, which the society over there doesn't joke with. These ladies get to have their freedom, have their kid(s) welfare taken care of by the man -of course the man should be responsible for his kid(s), but should get the chance to be a father to them too- and get spousal support.
Anon 17:20, I don't think so. Some men are good at sperm donor not a father. Do want the mother to allow the man know the child and mess the child head up. Rara oooo!!. Until you walk in the woman shoes, you will never know.
DeleteYou should be "selfish" with it and protect that child. If the child grows up, he or she will look for the dad. If they want to..
Anon 18:25, stop judging someone if you have not walk in that person shoe.
Delete"Child support" normally come in if the man knows he had a child.
It is better to be single than stay in a miserable marriage or relationship.
Abroad do not give rise to sad and depressed marriage ,they do not encourage it like Nigeria . People like you think that, those who are single parent can not see God or make heaven
As for "spousal support" ke ?
Please stop mis-leading people.
I have learnt not to push any friendship or relationship. Used to have a very close friend in school. We both went for our PG in same university, along the line I realised I was practically trying hard to remain relevant in the circle. The thing is she secured an apartment with another friend and for some reason saw me as a burden. I got mine and moved on. Life is not that hard abeg.
ReplyDeleteMy brother is the most troublesome, proud, domineering and wicked sibling anyone can have I swear. I got married, relocated and ghosted him! Yeah, for 2 peaceful years until o put to bed......good riddance and bad rubbish
Ghosting geng!
ReplyDeleteI've been called a coward for ghosting, I accept, I'm bad at giving or hearing break up speeches, just severe d cord in d middle.
No hard feelings
Delete...Let's call her "Franca"; tall, fair and shapely. A very fine Christian. Was praying with her for a job and husband.
ReplyDeleteJobs came, one paid twice as much as the others. Before I knew it, she had accepted the one with the fat pay.
I told her, that considering money as the only yardstick to choose a job isn't what Jesus taught. Seek him and nne, you have a whole month to accept or reject the offer...
She cut off from me and moved to the city for that job. It is a long story but I will cut is short...
The next time I met sisi "Franca" she had become a baby mama, lost her plum job, lost "the relationship" with the baby daddy, lost her peace, looked twice her age and was bitter and sulking...and of course had lost her faith. 😢😢😢😢
She had met the man in that company who deceived her that he was a Christian and led her on while she supplied "forks-nication" (throwing away everything that Christ meant to her).
Every attempt to tell me her story was filled with tears.😢😢
By the time we met, that her baby daddy was wedding (someone else), the half pay job she rejected just sent the new employees "abroad" (Europe) for training in software programming.
She was an emotional wreck.
All I did by the Grace of God in the ensuring week was to bring her back to the faith...This tori still long...💍💍
What an irritating, self righteous person you are.
Deletejob well done
DeleteOh no!! 😩
DeleteNa wa o
DeleteSomeone cannot comment In peace again even when arrows aren't directed at anyone .
Why do I have this feeling, you gloated when she lost all and probably thought to yourself ' 'told you so' ...ANG, I am afraid of the god you serve, he seems judgmental and harsh.
Delete@Kenyatta
DeleteIf I or someone else wrote that thing you wrote there, won't you be chanting "judgment, judgment, don't judge?"
Okwa ajuju 🤷🏻♀️
Nne, "Love, does not rejoice in evil..." 1 Cor. 13:6
I had to help this lady come back to the Lord and she was grateful for that.
What you do not understand is the Love of Christ. Come to him and you will begin to
understand him. 🎈🎈🎈
The story is still long, but I have written the much I can for now.
Thanks for insulting my Lord with that small letter "g" there, inugo? 😘😘😘
You're not th only one with that feeling dear Kenyatta. It's obvious she did. She's still doing. I'm afraid too, I'm a Christian by God's grace so I find her attitude and comments baffling.
DeleteRight! @Kenyatta!! Yet some blind fools won't see how wicked and self righteous she is
DeleteAng everyone cant be wrong all the time
DeleteRead Kenyattas comment
I've said it over and over that being a Christian and reading ANGs comments dont mix. She makes being a Christian horrible. Probably working for the devil.
DeleteLol you guys don’t bother, she will never ever see nor understand what everyone is asking about. She has programmed herself to be so. She doesn’t see anything wrong in her manner and method of communication. Leave her to wallow in it.
DeleteHer choice!!!
It really hurts when you are ghosted by the one you love ...believe me, it hurts a lot
ReplyDeleteYes it does but most times it's the best option. I'm very good at ghosting esp when I don't feel like confronting anyone
DeleteBig Hug
DeleteIf you were ghosted 😘😘😘
Thanks so much @ chocolat Nour
DeleteYeah, I have ghosted someone I met here , he was not truthful. We chatted and all that. But did my own little investigation and just ghost him. But, send him an email recently to Stay Safe.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to be played, he is a nice person. If one is not telling the truth, that is a ghost mood for me. I will rather stay a single mum o.
Met someone here too. Ghosted me a few times, the came back and he explained why even tho some things weren't adding up. The last one I just let him be after I tried reaching out and no ans. This is someone I could raise my left nyash will never do that to me cos we got really close. Told each other secrets made me fall in love and he ghosted
DeleteAnyways, never met him but I'm not doing that shit again that's for sure.
I ghosted my frenemy. She smiled to my face but gosipped me to everyone who cared to listen behind my back. I pretended like I didn't know. I got engaged she went behind my back and told her other friends I bought the ring simply because I do not put my man on social media neither do I discuss him with her. She silently competes with me. At first I thought it was admiration till I realized that it was a competition. One day I woke up and just ghosted her.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that scares me is this competitive spirit amongst most females.
DeleteIt's a very dangerous thing.
I had a friend who is actually a sibling to one of my friends. We got on quite well and only spoke on the phone, likely due to distance. We are both happily married and gist about our spouses, children etc. I never harboured any thoughts beyond our platonic friendship. I was opportuned to visit his state and we were both excited that we would hook up. I called severally after my appointment but no response to my calls or messages. I left without hearing from him and never called him back. I am not even interested in whatever his reasons were.
ReplyDeleteI believe ghosting is wrong. I am strong enough to find closure without his explanation. My husband and I laughed over it. For others they may be really hurt and not handle it well. If you give a person a good reasons for wanting a safe distance, they can make amends and be better people not necessarily for you. Or at least have a better understanding of what happened.
My two cents!!
It hurts differently if you're emotionally attached to that person who ghosted you.. like it can't be explained..
ReplyDeleteExactly.. it leaves you wondering what you did wrong and all
DeleteI've been ghosted by a fiancee. Just 2weeks to our introduction.
ReplyDeleteAccording to his uncle my guy went to his prophetess who told him never to marry me or else we will have problem in future and the marriage will crash. That was the reason he ghosted me just 2weeks to intro.
I confronted him and he told me he believe his prophetess so I should move on. I was devastated
Well my family stood by me and told me they are happy that it's not my fault so I should cheer up!! Less than 6months after he got married.
3yrs later he went to my family house in the village all the way from Lagos and was begging them that he needs my forgiveness. That he was "deceived" by a fake woman😂. His story? He bought a cheaper vehicle unknown to him it was a stolen vehicle and the robbers killed the owner of the car and he was a prominent man. So he was arrested, like play like play he was jailed. His then wife carried his remaining properties (he already sold a lot while fighting the case) and japa!
Guy man returned from prison to start from nothing. By then,Favour was already married.
When my people called to tell me and also asked if they can give him my number,I told them to collect his own instead. I later called with unknown number (I don't want disturbance), and prayed for him.
I ghosted my buddy this year. We have been friends since 2012 when we gain admission into the university. I have always known that she only needs me when she needs a help from me.
ReplyDeleteWe both are working in different states. In December I was in Abuja and made several calls to her so that we could meet, she even promised that I will stay over at her place. For the three weeks I stayed in Abuja, I never saw her cos she kept giving me excuses, "i traveled, I went for Uche's wedding, etc and until I left.
Two weeks later, she started sending me whatsapp message that I should help her do some stuff in the state where I work. I just didn't answer till date. I feel so bad cos I honestly felt she would not play her Aba sense on me... Well life goes on..
... Cool baby was here...
I once ghosted an ex. It wasn't intentional like that though, I was just trying out something I noticed. So I noticed that whenever he travelled, he doesn't call me, I was always doing all the calling and he picks when he felt like picking, claiming he travelled for work and is too busy to make or pick calls. I'm also busy, but I make time for the people I care about. So i stopped calling. For the 2weeks he away I never called, he never called either. Just like that, I was over the relationship. Some months later, my friend ran into him and he went the victim route how I was heartless, never really cared for him, ghosted him yada yada... how he tried reaching me to no avail... well I wouldn't know if he tried, I blocked him all over. I don't have time for rubbish.
ReplyDeleteHaaaaaa a babe and more
DeleteMy friend was ghosted last year ,
ReplyDeleteI was really hurt on her behalf cos she has had lots of failed relationships,
She met someone last year that seemed like an answer to prayers he was really nice to her and her kids , he would buy her nice stuff and gift cards for the kids.
Everything seemed so perfect ,hmm only for her to tell me he had just gone through a divorce , at that point I felt like he was over compensating for something. He started saying her various kinds of engagement and wedding bands to make a choice, Wow my home girl was blown away,
I and her mom told her to be careful but she felt like we were being overly protective. Some months later hommie had a surgery she kept checking on him he never responded to her she was so worried thinking something had happened to him only for her to find out he had gone back to his ex , that was the last time we ever heard about him.
SMH
🤔 He probably got closer to his ex-wife during surgery and thought to give their marriage a second chance.
DeleteI pray love finds your friend.
I feel Same , cos they had no issues whatsoever.
DeleteThanks I pray she finds love too she's been through so much .
Today's gist will be interesting oh, I'm here to learn.
ReplyDeleteI was ghosted by my friend. In Uni, we were close. I really really loved her. I saw her as my sister. My sisters knew her, I had a sweet nickname for her. They all loved her. We read together,Prayed together, did a lot together. I loved her. We never fought or quarrelled throughout our four year friendship.
ReplyDeleteAfter our final paper, I noticed that she was somewhat cold.. I'm really sensitive and can pick up anything. I tried to find out why she was cold. It was totally out of character but she made it seem like it was all in my head. I tried reaching out several times after that day and I still got the cold treatment. She kept saying everything was fine. I spoke to a mutual friend to help me ask her if I had offended her so I could apologize. Our mutual friend did and said she insisted everything was fine. I felt bad but I moved on.
Went for service, got a job, I'd still call her randomly and send messages but things were never the same. I called to invite her for my wedding as she was in town but she didn't come. Anyways I sha moved on. I restricted my messages for only her birthdays.
Now she's trying to get close. She calls a lot and is always sending messages. She wants to hangout and she acts as though "nothing ever happened" but that chapter of my life is closed. I'm no longer interested in being friends. I've moved on.
Ghosting someone is bad. If you have an issue with them, trash it out. At least let them know what they did. It's sad when you're ghosted without closure or knowing what went wrong. It's really sad.
You handled your side well. Maintain your lane biko. Someone cannot just waltz in and out anyhow. Once she gets what she wants off again she goes. No one has that emotional energy to waste biko.
DeleteThank you @anon 21:55
DeleteMy Aunt ghosted me one time. She was the SA to our state Governor. You call or message, she won't reply, not like I asked her to for anything. She had mind to be sending me link to her dead blog. She won't reply my hi message but would go ahead to send link. I blocked her on whatsapp. She reported to my mum, but still I didn't unblock her. Make she dey her dey
ReplyDeleteYimu@not asking for anything! You were probably feeling entitled to her money. I like how she ignored you by sending you blog links for encouragement 🤣😂 kwakwakwakwa
DeleteYou said she sent you a link to her dead blog abi? You are an ingrate. It would not have cost you anything to visit the bog on a regular basis and leave comments. You could also have encouraged your friends to do the same. Instead you all put out your entitled hands as if it is your birthright. You Aunt is even nice sef. You block me, we are done. rada rada
DeleteGoing through that at the moment, meet someone here, he asked me to be his girlfriend and I accepted, but I noticed he is not a giver, dont get me wrong, we go on dates and we split bills, he visits me and I make sure he is very comfortable and buy him things once in a while when I see something I like and think it will be nice on him but he never thought for one day to do the same. The communication kept going from bad to worst and I said to myself I wont call again if he doesn't try to communicate with me and since then he hasn't called me either. I love and miss him so much but I thought to myself it is better to leave the relationship heartbroken than being in a relationship I get treated like I am nothing.
ReplyDeleteYou were dating yourself. Glad you left
DeleteGhosting is a terrible cowardly thing to do, especially in romantic relationships. I've noticed men do it often. Pick silly quarrels with the lady then ghost her.
ReplyDeleteYeah, they do it because they do not care or respect the lady. Such people are Cowards, sorry to say.
DeleteI have been ghosted twice by a guy that I wasn't even dating. I truly hated the experience but currently ghosting someone that I dated for a few months, my reason is that I broke up the relationship(some things were not adding up)but I can see that he wants to turn us to a situationship which I am unwilling to be a part of so I will rather not engage with him seeing as I still have feelings for him.
ReplyDeleteThat year i first met Mi we talked and chatted for about 3 months before a visit, the chats and talks took a nose dive ,like i was bothering him viola he ghosted me it hurt like crazy,3 months after i met MO ,i was weary didnt want to take him serious ,after 3 months he was still his sweet self like from day one ,we started dating ,i saw the red flags but was lost in my emotions six to nine months the calls chats and visits declined he claimed he was working late .I Know the drill by now lol he has ghosted on me ,i was in denial ,he cant leave me ,i didn't do anything wrong ,we dragged on for 1year ,i was dying ,i call his line all day ,he ignores me ,sometimes out of the full moon his demons will allow him to call me ,and i will be over the moon ,till date i still love him with all my soul even with all the glaring lies i still cant let go ,Met my hubby while i was with MO but got no love for him ,it was all about MO ,as MO come ghost haaaaaa i started giving hubby space and time to express his mission ,from day one dude said he wants to wife me after posting him for months because of MO. I decided to give it a try ,we dated for over 1 year ,he is awesome and still is but ..........
ReplyDeleteYou are a stupid lady. FACE YOUR HUSBAND!! No ifs or buts. You do not love MO. You are addicted to the pain he caused and causes you. How can you let a man control you like this? Your husband loves and respects you but mbanu you still lust after someone who treated you like crap. I shame for you.
DeleteSome times people ghost other people cos they are depressed and don’t want to bother you with their issues , more times than not they themselves don’t like it but at that point that’s all they want to do
ReplyDeleteTrue. When I am down with something, I ghost people till I am back to my bubbly self
DeleteHere to read comments.
ReplyDeleteSoon I am ghost this dude, how can you be 38 years old. A graduate, intelligent, handsome but you don't have sense. You want to travel abroad for your masters, you don't have money in your bank account. Instead of you to accept jobs with 120k, 150k,200k atleast be managing while you gather enough to travel outfit masters.
ReplyDeleteYou are there making noise I cannot stay in this country. They kept on eating your money in the name of helping you out. When will you have sense?
You cannot buy an android phone, your phone crashed, so you cannot fix it. The small phone you are using you cannot buy battery of 1k. You cannot afford I better pass my neighbor generator. You prefer to charge your phone in a barber saloon, in church, in your neighbour's house.
I cannot come and have heart attack because of a man. The money I burn on airtime everyday to talk to you is too much, get a phone so that we can always chat which is cheaper you are complaining.
Anon 17:52, you are dating your beautiful self and giving your precious attention to a lazy man. Chai!..I just feel like giving you E-slap !..
Delete19:26, she's not dating herself but dating a lazy man with misplaced priorities.
DeleteThere are so many men in our generation that are like this. Very wicked idiots that don't know what they want with themselves.
They are always day dreaming and very adamant with their nonsense wants and desires they are not making a single effort towards achieving.
17:52, STOP calling him if you can. Only call him when you need his emotional support. Be very stingy with your money around him. Start making a plan b if you can. He may love you truly; but with the way he's going may drag your life till infinity with stagnation and zero progress or else you start building those fantasies for him with your own hands.
And that is so wrong because once you start, it NEVER ends. Just know he's your first child and your own kids will be follow up. Being your first child includes spending your sweat on other women to prove his masculinity
Be wise*
Sometimes people ghost others, not intentionally but because they might be going through stuff. People react differently in adversity, some isolate themselves and in the process ghost friends and family.Say a prayer or two for such people.
ReplyDeleteGhosting in romantic relationships is a different ball game altogether some people are too cowardly to admit the relationship is broken or too nice to hurt the other party, so they go into ghost-mode, if ghosted, count your losses and keep it moving, such is life. I have ghosted and been ghosted, but all is fair in love and war.
I ghosted someone this year ,he only calls when he needs my hel
ReplyDeleteFlawlessly.
We had been dating for over two years. Very intense passionate frequent sex. She loved me as I was her first and only. I had crazily missed sex with her one night. It was late at night when I got to her apartment. She was asleep but opened the door for me and went back to bed. I took my clothes off showered quickly and climbed on top of her. No way I was getting a no tonight i had missed sex with her too much. I was kissing her from her forehead to her ears, lips, boobs and vagina. Sucking everywhere to turn her on despite her tiredness. While I was licking down there, she stunk. Smelt like she did a number two a few hours before and was too tired to clean up properly. The ugly smell made me stop. While she was sleeping I left and I was out of love with her since then. I couldn't forget or forgive the smell. I had too many other sweet smelling girlfriends to move on with. She begged and begged but I moved on. Till today she doesn't know why. Ghosted till she dies.
ReplyDelete🤣🤣🤣 rhis made me laugh out loud!! Ghosted till she dies. Hehehe
DeleteOmgggg...laughed like crazy!!!
DeleteI dated Mr T for 4 years,I thought the relationship was altar bound but dude had a joker. He ghosted me for 3 month and that three months he met, married another lady.
ReplyDeleteAfter his wedding, maybe 2 months after their wedding, he came back begging me to date him. it is now 8 years that he got married , he is still begging me to be his second wife or date him at least. Me? I am now ghosting him. Did I cry when he ghosted me?yes I did,I almost Ran mad i because he was a kind of man that keeps you on payroll while dating, give you cash without you asking,Mehn! It was hard for me but found my closure myself. When at look at my life now ,I really thank God That i did not marry him, dude is still clubbing and keeps late night. oh! Dude even ask me to join him orn vacation, but I keep pressing NO button and it works.
Good radiance to bad rubbish.
I dated a colleague of mine that is like 5 years younger than me but you wouldn’t Know because I am petite in nature. He loves me at least soI thought, dude came to my house, slept with me around weekend, on Monday which was a new week,my guy ghosted me. Infact he gave me he embarrassed me in front of the company chef that he need his space.
ReplyDeleteAfter 2 years, my guy is now crawling back to me because our job responsibilities are inter woven like kind of, but I am the one ghosting him,he is dating another lady in the office but when he sees me he is still smitten infact the new lady is fed up and threaten with his behavior.
The interesting thing about my story is that, I I found my closure myself, gave myself brain that I will never fall into his trap again. If someone tells you that this guy used me and dumb me, you will not know because I do not have his time,I i now wonder what I attracted me to him then ,but he is busy staring at me any time our path crossed.
Sometimes he comes to my corner to initiate a convo but trust me to keep it official and he will be frustrated.
I have learnt my lessons.
I have just being ghosted by bf, it a long story and its painful, but I'm not crying, I don't cry easily, I have moved on and I'm just smiling and living my life, my mum is watching me closely, she thinks I might commit suicide over what happened, but the woman is always thankful for the kind of heart I have, I hardly get moved, my friends will say ajebutter with a stony heart, it's well jare, my own is Coronavirus should just disappear, no be man matter dey do me.
ReplyDeleteMine was not a relationship. It was my brother(step brother cos these days I like to properly stick with it). I did not even know he was a step brother till I was in my teens because of how close he was to us. He used to make us laugh so haaard. So funny! Then he went abroad and he just changed. Those early days abroad he would call and would not rest till he heard everybody's voice. Maybe it was the cold. Then few months later, he just stopped calling. The hardest part about being ghosted is the waiting. That period of time when you are just waiting. Waiting for a call, a text, an explanation or anything. I just wanted to know he was OK. That he was fine. I left him messages on FB, he would read and not reply. I prayed so much that God blesses him( I thought maybe Australia was difficult for him), but later those who knew him there said he was fine. Infact he was great. He was quite popular even. Living a great life. I did not get it. Like what happened? I saw pictures of him on FB. He seemed really happy. It was then I knew I had to move on. It took many yearrrrss but we did. The problem was not us it was him. I resigned myself to the fact that we will never get those answers and it's OK. We are no longer friends on FB. It does not hurt as much as it did all those years and I am in a much more better place.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwnn.. darling.
DeleteSending you e-hugs.
Bini same WhatsApp group.
DeleteI was ghosted by my ex, We spent the weekend together and I left for school, called him to let him know that I had gotten to school, he didn't pick my calls all through that day and for 3 months
ReplyDeleteMet a guy online, we fell for each other. Then the calls and messages reduced and started being hot and cold. Usually i bone and withdraw my feelings silently but i really liked this guy. So i rang him one day and told him why the games and why doesn't he all of a sudden have time for me.
ReplyDeleteEither he stops the hot and coldness and makes time for us to get to know each other or he calls me when he has my time. He said ok and cut the call but never contacted me again.
2 months later he sends me messages at 2am i ignore. 4 months later same. Christmas day 2am messages again so i told him off to stop and leave me alone.
He begged for us to see so he can explain, i told him he hurt me too much for that but he begged to explain to my face. I agreed; we meet up first week in Jan and he explained that he liked me so much but went back to his baby mother because his family got involved and gave him pressure. He asked for us to be friends i said ok cool at least he will invite me to his wedding he said he will never marry his babymother. I asked why the 2am messages always he said those are times he is thinking deeply about me.
I shook my head, we had a good time over dinner talking. He kept in touch till mid Jan when it was my bday. He asked to send me a present but i declined and said he can give it to me when next we see or if we ever see again. He got the message and asked for us to keep in touch I knew this one is mad after hurting me so much and telling me to my face that he went back to his baby mother. He still wanted us to be meeting up, he still wanted to be taking me out etc. I thought if i was his baby mother i wouldn't want my man doing that with another woman.
End of Jan; I changed my number with no goodbye. I ghosted him without looking back. Not for revenge but because i know i deserve better.
